Hi Edwin, The PLC is already in the automation server so nothing happens when I scan the network, however the PLC show offline (not connected). Please see logs below. Web Client Library Documentation Company: 3S - Smart Software Solutions GmbH Title: Web Client Version: 1.0.1.7 Categories: Application|Utils Namespace: WEB_CLIENT Author: 3S - Smart Software Solutions GmbH Placeholder: WebClient I encountered an issue using this library above. Note it is now part of Codesys IIoT Libraries SL in the form of Web Client SL, but I am not using this version. I was sending Content-Type: application/json, HTTP POST using a HTTPS URL. No issue observed initially, successful operation. At some point operation stopped and the codesyscontrol.log file started to accumulate errors: ERROR: TlsCreateContext2: Failed to save context. An application reset failed to resume operation and I was unable observe any TCP connection forming to a destination port 443. The error appeared as a TCP_INIT error. I can find no details as to what may have happened or why a reset of the PLC application did not resume operation. Testing with a curl operation proved to be successful, so I am confident there was no fundamental networking issue preventing a TCP connection forming. The solution was to reboot the hardware itself, but this is not satisfactory in the long term. Is there any description of the TLS error I received? Is there any suggestion here that there might be an issue with certificates? Any advice or information is appreciated.

I detect a Bug of Codesys....NO WORK AUTOMATICALLY RESTARSLAVES. I explain the secuence: I have click in my project the option AUTOMATICALLY RESTARSLAVES In the moment start my Ipc, the network ethercat start correctly I disconnect the wire of my first slave and later connect again the wire..(see the screen Bug Codesys restart slave1) NO work the restart automatic slaves...and is not possible execute of FB MC_REset beacuause appear this error (see the screen Bug Codesys restart slave2) The only way for resolver this problem is execute the FB SMC3ReinitDrive I replay the same with PLC BECKHOFF in Twincat3 and I havent this problem...In the moment connect the wire again in the slave the comunication of ehterCat restart and the slave comunication again with out problem

I've post the Versions in the Attachments. It seems with htop, that there is a very high CPU Load. In the Log I can see nothing, as mentioned above I've to restart the PLC with Power off/on and the log in codesys was deleted. Or what do you mean with plclogger?

Yes, you can use the CODESYS ControlWin V3 Soft PLC. However, if simulation is enabled on the device this will disable all communication, so you need to turn off simulation to view the visualization in a web browser. In simulation mode, all IO and communication is disabled for standalone testing. In addition, make sure to set the start visualization in the WebVisu object in the application tree. Sorry for being late to the party... so it is not possible to use the webbrowser tool to display external websites in a visu anymore? As it is not possible to simply "adjust the ContentSecurityPolicyIncludeTrustedOrigins setting in the automatically generated webvisu.cfg.json file" as stated in the docs? We need to display data read from a Raspberry Pi (part of our computer network) in our webvisu. We used to do it by entering the Pi's IP address as the URL variable in the webbrowser element but now (I don't know since when, I'm new on the job) "The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource (frame-src) at 'IP address' because it violates the following directive: “default-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline'”. What are the options for displaying the data?

Hi! Do anybody know how I can add and enable the parameter 'Default Modbus TCP slave' on a device? I am currently writing a program where the PLC shall be set up as a Modbus TCP client, but I dont know how to add parameters to devices in codesys. I'm pretty new to the codesys environment. The picture in the attachment is on a similar PLC project where I have not written the code. my goal is to add this parameter in another project.

Hello is there a chance to set with a visu input the auto-logout time? At the moment, it is a fix value set in visu-manager. But for individual configurating of passwort policies I create a visu-dialog to set policies and there for an option to set auto-logout-time. But till now, I haven't found a solution. Maybe someone has an idea? Thanks

Get a different sensor that is 0-10V and 0-350 Bar. There is nothing you can reasonably do to boost the range of the sensor, and the PLC will only ever be 0-10V. Take away is to always be careful to match the sensor and PLC input ranges in the future.

Hello Zol6, Have you solved this issue? I use Festo PLC CPX-E-CEC-C1 to create alarm monitoring project. In CODESYS V3.5-SP18 I used the Alarm Storage object and have the same problem. Is it the PLC that is not compatible or the version of the library is not match? Best, wb16

Hi all, I've played a bit with the VisuUserManagement library, and some other security option in my project, and I started getting this error when logging in - see attached pic. something to do with a specific screen in the library - VUM_Login. Also, Codesys started to ask me to log in to the library when logging in, asking to log in as user of the groups Maintainer or Owner, which I dont know either users (attached pic). when I close the login screen and try to log in to the PLC again, everything works again until I close and open Codesys. I do use user and password to login to the PLC, and this login screen is fine I know the user and pass I setup. anyone know what did I do wrong here and how to fix it?

Hello, this error occured frequently over the past couple of weeks. I found out, when adding a webvisu, CODESYS added Visu libraries in the library manager. One of the libraries was the "VisuElemsAlarm" library. In my case it added this one with the version 4.3.0.0. However another library that also contained the "VisuElemsAlarm", used the "VisuElemsAlarm" with the version "4.4.0.0". After changing the Version "4.4.0.0" and uninstalling this version, the error has not occured anymore. Regards, carohe

Dear Sir, We are writing to seek guidance regarding our current situation with the Opto 22 Groov EPIC PR1 PLC system. Over the past year, we have successfully downloaded and implemented logic using Codesys, and the PLC has been operational without issues. However, we now require minor modifications to the logic. Despite attempting to upload the modified logic, we are unable to see the "online change" option, prompting us to consider a direct logic download. Our concern is that during this process, certain digital outputs or analog outputs might momentarily disrupt operations, which is unacceptable given the system's continuous 24x7 operation. We have explored online changes in other PLC systems, but due to the absence of the last downloaded backup, we are unable to proceed confidently.
