Hi everyone, I'm trying to install the CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi SL package. The computer with CODESYS software is offline for security reasons. So, I downloaded the package on another computer and installed it manually. But this package has dependencies packages: CODESYS.Control SL Extension Package, V4.0.0.0 CODESYS.Control SL Deploy Tool, V4.10.0.0 As I said, the computer with CODESYS is offline. I cannot use the package installer to search for these packages. I did not find them in Codesys Store with another computer. Do you know where to find and download them? Help wanted This is the first time i'm doing a Modbus Tcp project. I have some VLT with a extension module MCA-122. i'm currently unable to write to the VLT slave, but i can read from status word parameter=1603 and address := 16029 where the address is calculated from parameter is ((id x 10)-1). in the manual the functions that are supported are 3 hex, 6 hex, 10 hex, b hex and 11 hex. read holdin registers, write single register, write multiple registers, get comm. event counter, report slave id. i'm only using the Modbus Slave Channel is this wrong when trying to write to the vlt ?

Hello, I'm trying to connect with a Wago TP600 HMI but without success. I'm using codysis 3.5 SP19 patch 7 (SP20 block all the time) and the official wago package is installed. However, when I scan and select my device, I get a message saying that the device doesn't match the project's device object with the possibility to update the device (as shown in the attached picture). however, after choosing to update i got a message that the device is not found. I've tried with a new empty project but the same results. do you have any ideas? Thanks.

I don't know why the EtherCat fails, but what happens is: First I have only one 1WireMaster running on my Raspberry Pi and EtherCat is running fine. Then I'd like to add a 2nd 1WireMaster. Therefore I enable a 2nd GPIO Pin on the raspberry in the file "/boot/firmware/config.txt". dtoverlay=w1-gpio,gpiopin=4,pullup=0 dtoverlay=w1-gpio,gpiopin=23,pullup=0 To be able to use this 2nd 1WireMaster in Codesys Runtime I Adjust the CODESYScontrol.cfg file and add there: PlaceholderFilePath.2=/sys/devices/w1_bus_master2, $OneWire2$ After a reboot the EtherCat Master is not working any more. I didn't even add a 2nd OneWire Master in Codesys, but still if I do the EtherCat does not work. Do you have an idea why?

With a machine I'm working with i get a communication error when I'm updating some softstop limits. As soon as I update the code the drives do not want to operate. Using the MC_readStatus I'm receiving errors as soon as i want to start a movement. Using MC_ReadAxisError i see that i receive error 131, no response. With a SMC3_ETC_ReadParameter_CoE i do not recieve any driver errors. Does anyone know how i can figure out what the error is and how to solve it. When i go back to the old software no errors occur. Im working with a legacy machine running a Beijer PLC with some Mitsubishi drives. running on Codesys 3.5 SP10. the runtime version is probably 3.5.3. The drives are all Ethercat Drives (CoE). All using the SM3_drive_ETC libary and the SM3_basic library.

Open the CODESYS Installer. Create an export file from your current PC from your current version. Then on the other PC Open the installer and install a new version based on the same essentials version, but additionally select the export file which you have created on the first PC. Or just install (import) it within the already existing version. For the installer, you can install it from: https://store.codesys.com/en/codesys-installer.html For help see: https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Installer/_inst_install_setups_and_addons.html On PC 1, save the project as projectarchive (which will then include all the libraries and devices). Then extract this projectarchive on PC 2.

Hi erveyone, Rau here, first time asking on CODESYS Forge: When working with my servodrives, a special behaviour is required on dsp402 0x60B8 object, a control that is not supported by MC_TouchProbe. For this reason, I'd like to ask: Anyone knows if there is any way to bypass or change the softmotion axis writting into 0x60B8 object? My main problem is that MC_TouchProbe.TriggerInput.iTriggerNumber only allows to choose between TP 1 and TP 2 (not both at the same time). iTriggerNumber only allows values [0, 1, 2, 3], other values triggers an error in the FB, wether SMC_TP_COMM_ERROR for values [4, 5, 6, 7] and SMC_TRIGGER_OUT_OF_RANGE with any other value. It works well with two Wago 750-8210's. I helped a few customers setting this up. But it should work with any device which can control EtherCAT I/O, is real-time and has sufficient network interfaces. Two network adapters can be used to create a redundant EtherCAT network (you need 2 additional switches for this). The other network adapters can be used to interconnect the 2 PLC's (synchronization). We noticed that if you exchange variable lists that there could be some issues if you have long lists. So what we did is use a SoftPLC on a server that contains all the settings which continuously sends network packages (GVL sender) and which is received by both PLC's (network receiver). Switching over is done in milliseconds. The bus doesn't notice the change-over. EtherCAT communication works flawlessly.

I am experiencing an issue when trying to define the Y-axis limits in a Trend Graphic using variables. When I set the Minimum and Maximum values as variables, an error is triggered. My goal is to make the Y-axis limits dynamic so they can adjust according to the installation. Both variables are initialized as follows: gP_YMin = -100.0 gP_YMax = 100.0 However, I still get the following error: "The minimum axis value must be less than the maximum axis value" Does anyone have an idea why this is happening or how to resolve it?

I am currently developing a library that contains real‑time data. To handle this real‑time data, I am using additional libraries called SysTime and SysTypes Interfaces. When I compile my library on its own, no errors occur. However, when I use this library in a project and compile the project, I get an error indicating that the SysTime data type is not recognized. This happens even though the SysTime library is visible as a dependency under my library. Does anyone know how to correctly include a library within another library so that the project recognizes the sub‑library without causing compilation errors?

Hi, I have a Beckhoff EL6751 EtherCAT / CANopen gateway which fails on the Canbus when the CANopen_Manager is added. Currently no devices are connected to the EL6751. If I add a device, I get the same issue. If I add a device and connect the bus, I get the same issue. Is there something I am doing wrong? Regards Trevor

I believe I have installed the correct device descriptions and library, in an attempt to use the MCP3008 in conjunction with RPI; when project runs the MCP3008 is unable to find the correct driver. Is there anything I'm missing? Very new to this so any help is apprecated!

Hi, Got same problem, appeared after 4.3.1.0 update. Prabably problem is in performance. I am using virtual machine, so adding one more core and several GB to RAM still not solved, but atleast did system more stable. Try optimise your main program or set less task interval. It seems that there is a limitation with the STRUCTs. Does anybody know, what’s okay to save (add to the recipe) and what’s not okay? Or is there another problem with my project? If I have only an array in the recipe definition everything works perfectly (see project).

I download an application to an ARMv7 32 bit device. I start the applicatin and it all works fine. But when i restart the device the boot app is not able to start.
