Bonjour, J'essaie de tester cette application : Je suis bloqué sur les 2 chapitres suivants : Pour la toute première configuration de communication : ajout de la passerelle Spécification du canal de communication En suivant le tutoriel, j'ai bien le point vert disant que la passerelle est OK en localhost sur mon PC Ensuite, en choisissant le chemin vers le controleur et en faisant un scan réseau à partir de cette boite de dialogue, ça ne trouve rien et je finis par avoir un message d'erreur disant que la passerelle n'est pas configuré... De plus, Je ne comprends pas pourquoi il faut passer par une pseudo connexion alors que toute l'appli et donc la simu est sur mon PC... I thought I knew what I am doing, but something is missing what? From Device-Communication Settings select from drop down menu "Device" Select entry "Change Runtime Security Policy" Check the "Allow anonymous login" Select "Symbol Configuration" in your application In settings check "Support for OPC UA features" Check some of the values you want in your set Press the build button in the "Symbol Configuration" Press the button "Configure Symbol Rights" Make sure that Anonymous_OPCUAServer has access right to your "default set" From Device-Communication Settings select "Access Rights" in RemoteConnections-OPCUAServer Anonymous_OPCUAServer should be given modify and view rights I suppose. I can connect with UaExpert but I cannot see my Application or browse my values. What is missing?

Hello Every one, During testing of OPC UA communication between UA Expert software and the CODESYS SoftPLC on a Linux environment, an observation was made. When the Ethernet cable was disconnected and reconnected with 2-minute intervals, on the 5th attempt, the OPC UA connection failed to establish in UA Expert software. At this juncture, restarting the CODESYS SoftPLC enabled the reestablishment of OPC UA communication. The same result was obtained when testing on a Raspberry Pi SoftPLC. What is the reason behind this phenomenon? and whether there are settings to stop this behavior? Please help. Thanks & Regards.

Hi Guys, I am new to this forum and i would like to ask od anyone got communication with Siemens v20 vfd working via Modbus RTU? I followed many websites and finally got the communication working but have problema with read/write registers. For example if i try to read holding register 40011 which is accel time i get noth but when i set the offset 0x0000 en length 113 i get ale the registers. I cannot get speed control working. I read someth about stw (control Word) and hsw but have some problems to understand it en get it working. It would be really nice if someone could help me with it. Thx

Hello everyone I want a communication between my PLC as an OPC UA Server and Labview on my PC as the OPC UA Client. I have an Festo CPX-E-CEC-C1-PN PLC and I have the OPC UA Toolkit from Labview. I created some Variables for testing (see picture 1) on Codesys. I tried to use this Labview block diagram (see picture 2) but I cant connect the PLC to it. What do I have to type in the Server Endpoint URL and what in the Node ID? Is this a good way for communication with a PLC to a PC? If not is there another way?

Dear Forum, I currently have a challenge. I have a library with some communication classes. These communication classes need to be linked to an interface like this: Devices_and_controllers.Comm_Frame.Modbus_GVL_Link.KNX_TCP[Interface_Index] := THIS^; This is executed via a FB_Init() method. When I try to do this in a program this works fine. But when I declare the FB_Init() in the library the FB_Init() method is being called but the link is not made (interface still has the value 0000000000). The Objects and interfaces are defined in the library (GVL), so I’m assuming the data should be there. When I call the FB_Init method explicitly in the program it also works fine. Whys is this not working when it is all defined in the library? And is it even possible to create a structure like this in Codesys? Kind regards Alex

For anyone still experiencing this issue, here’s how I managed to solve it: Symptoms: 1. Sometimes, on the first start of CODESYS Runtime, the modules fail to run. 2. After disconnecting and reconnecting the communication cable, the drive does not start again. 3. MC_Reset cannot clear the fault. Solution (what worked for me): 1. Check the axis communication using the SMC_CheckAxisCommunication function block (FB). 2. If CheckAxisCommunication.eComState of the axis is equal to or higher than SMC_CommunicationState.SMC_COMSTATE_BASE_COM_INITIALIZATION, then 3. Use the SMC3_ReinitDrive function block to reset the drive — and it works. With a machine I'm working with i get a communication error when I'm updating some softstop limits. As soon as I update the code the drives do not want to operate. Using the MC_readStatus I'm receiving errors as soon as i want to start a movement. Using MC_ReadAxisError i see that i receive error 131, no response. With a SMC3_ETC_ReadParameter_CoE i do not recieve any driver errors. Does anyone know how i can figure out what the error is and how to solve it. When i go back to the old software no errors occur. Im working with a legacy machine running a Beijer PLC with some Mitsubishi drives. running on Codesys 3.5 SP10. the runtime version is probably 3.5.3. The drives are all Ethercat Drives (CoE). All using the SM3_drive_ETC libary and the SM3_basic library.

I am using a WAGO PFC200 PLC as an etherCAT master and a Keyence IV3-G120 with DL-EC1A attached as an etherCAT slave. I am using CODESYS V3.5 SP21 Patch 3. I was able to set up mailbox communication and can see values changing accordingly, but I want to know how I can map these values and reference them in my program. I am able to map the process data objects in the 'EtherCAT I/O Mapping' tab, but there is no where to map the mailbox values in the 'CoE Online' tab. Is there a way I can reference one of these values in my code?

Hi all, I am experiencing a problem when trying to add a standard OPC UA Information Model to the Communication Manager. When I try to add the following standard information models to a new or existing project http://opcfoundation.org/UA (15.07.2020) http://opcfoundation.org/UA/DI (02.06.2020) CODESYS crashes every time during the process. Adding an OPC UA Server itself works without any problem. The crash only happens when adding the standard OPC UA Information Model. CODESYS version: CODESYS V3.5 SP20 Patch 4 (64 bit) Has anyone experienced the same issue or knows a possible workaround? Thank you in advance.

Hello, I'm doing some tests with TCP communication using Reader, Writer and TCP_Process components from NBS 4.0. I'm having a really hard time finding documentation and examples on these components. I found a very simple and incomplete example here: https://forge.codesys.com/prj/codesys-example/nbs/home/Home/. The documentation is also insufficient: it only provides the names of the FBs, Methods and their parameters, but no descriptions about how to use them. Do you have any suggestions on where to find more support? More generally, why is the free online CoDeSys documentation so poor? What do you think? Thanks Domenico Canavero
