Hello everyone, I have a web visualization on Codesys and to be able to use the web visualization first an user and a password is requested. After the user logged in, I want to automatically change the visualization to the 'Home' visualization but I am not sure how to do this. In the login visualization I basically have a button with the input configuration to execute the action 'Login' after a click. Once the user is logged in, the visualization is still stuck in the login page and I want to automatically change to Home visualization if the user was succesfully logged in. How can I know the number of web visualization clients connected to my PLC? Thanks in advance

Hallo goodmorning, I am using codesys 3.5 sp19 with Weidmueller PLC. I created a page with several checkbox to manage an array of bool. When I build the project the system doesn't signal any error, when I go in simulation mode everything works until I click on checkbox to toggle the variables. Other visu elements works proprerly (e.g. bottons, lights, ect, ect) but the check boxes cause a crash giving the following error: Error while processing the visualization: Client id not present or no longer valid I serched to figure the problem out and to search a solution on the web but nothing. You use very old codesys, maybe SP13? the newer sp17 libraries are in a format not compatible with your version. I suggest upgrading everything to at least SP17, but may as well go to SP20 Patch 2.

Hi, I'm struggling with updating my xc303 to firmware 3.5.17. It is possible only via USB port. I've installed proper update files on the USB then plug it into the PLC's USB port and restarted the device. Shortly after LED's on the PLC started to blink, so updating process has started. But after 10 minutes the PLC LED turned off and after all I could't serach for this PLC in Codesys, but could ping it. Could someone eplain to me proper procedure of updating the fimrware in XC303 via USB? Is it neccesary to STOP the PLC switch after pluging the USB?

Hey Everyone, I'm having a bit of a struggle finding settings that will reliably maintain a connection between the webvisu and a touchscreen client. Every so often the HMI disconnects and will perpetually display the red spinning arrow with the "Error Happened, Will resume automatically" text. Power cycling the HMI to force a reconnect will re-establish comms. It seems to happen during periods of inactivity if that's a clue. From what I've gathered so far this seems to have something to do with the webvisu update rate, buffer size as well as the visu task scan rate. We first tried the default settings as follows: Webvisu Update Rate: 200 ms Webvisu Buffer Size: 50,000 Visu Task Scan Rate: 100 ms Priority 31 Other Tasks for Reference: Main Task Scan Rate: 100 ms Priority 1 Alarm Manager Scan Rate: 50 ms Priority 31 Ethercat Task: 4 ms Priority 1 This would disconnect some what regularly. We then made the following changes to try and stabilize: Webvisu Update Rate: 150 ms Webvisu Buffer Size: 75,000 Visu Task Scan Rate: 75 ms Kept other tasks the same. This seems to disconnect even more frequently. Also for reference the network is very small and only consists of the PLC, a small switch and the HMI. We're also not controlling frames from outside the visu program itself. The frame changes are all done natively. Any suggestions to get this to stop disconnecting? Oh and whatever the issue is the log does not record it. Figured I would ask here before opening a ticket. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks, but unfortunately it does not work. I tried also the other function in the Properties window. What i tried also is to change the Visu-Style or looking for options.

to modify and change the color of this icons from symbols lib I placed it in a visu. After download to the device, I uploaded the SVG files and saved it local. Now I was able to modify them with inkscape and import it to my own imagepool in the project :-)

Categories: PLCs Version: 3.5.20.10 Description: Advantech Soft PLC with hard realtime for Win64 (V3_5_2010_3) Problem Summary The OPC UA Server works perfectly when accessed via: opc.tcp://localhost:4842 opc.tcp://<hostname>:4842</hostname> But it does NOT work when using the LAN IP: opc.tcp://192.168.0.XX:4842 In UAExpert I get: Discovery FindServers on opc.tcp://192.168.0.XX:4842 failed (BadCommunicationError) Port is LISTENING in windows Firewall..
