Hello, I am struggling with Edge gateway to the automation server. It is not possible to establish the link. When I create the Edge in codesys and get it to Automation server, it is red, unable to connect. Scan fails. RPi 4B Runtime 4.13.0.0 Edge gateway 4.13.0.0 Codesys 3.5.2.40 Any idea what to chase? I have been using previous versions of edge gateway. Now I updated all to latest versions, failed. Frustrating.

Hello, Is it possible to get the string returned from the ENUM JSONType? I read that with regular enumerations you can add '{attribute 'to_string'}' and access it. However, this is from the compiled library, so I can not add that attribute. When I try to use TO_STRING(JSONType) it returns the integer as a string. Ex. jsonType :=TO_STRING(pJSONData^._aJSONData[i].eType); gives '8' instead of NONE Thanks!

Hello everyone, i'm having some problems commanding AS1060 step motor with EL7041 (rev22) drive. With motor i've also the incremental encoder (05.2420.1230.0200.5009). I can correctly move the motor in "Position controller" operating mode with the internal counter. The problems start when i set the Encoder in feedback type or i change the operating mode. Does anyone have experience with these two terminals and can give me some advice of main parameters to check or change? Thanks everyone

In the CODESYS IDE I have several symbols defined and I have IEC Symbol Publishing installed. On the IEC Symbol Publishing window and under the IEC Symbols Editor tab, I have dragged symbols from the tree on the left to the grid on the right. All this works fine. Now I want to remove one of the symbols from the grid on the right and I cannot see any way to do this. How can I remove a symbol from the grid on the right once I've added it?

Right now when I make a change to one of the tags in my code, I have to completely remove the IEC Symbol Publishing object from the tree view and re-add it. Then I have to completely re-add every symbol to the grid view by dragging them over. This can be a lot. Surely, this is not the intended behavior. Can anyone tell me how this is supposed to work?

How large and how complex? It's tough to make a recommendation without additional details. The simplest thing is to just use data arrays (or even arrays of arrays). What is the task configuration? When you are online and look at the task monitor, what does it show? (Put a screenshot here). If the processor is overloaded you'll likely need to increase the cycle interval, disable the watchdog, or change to a cyclic task instead of interval based? Also, You might want to adjust your task priorities so they don't all have the same priority. Just a few thoughts, although looking at the task monitor would help in troubleshooting.

I need to be able to update (change) the interface of an IO-Link device at runtime. The reason is the connected sensor can be selected at runtime, and some sensors we use have a 2 byte IN interface, others have a 4 byte IN interface, others 16 byte IN, others 16 byte IN/OUT (see attached screenshot). Is it possible at all? When yes, which function should I use? Thank you!

Hi Trying to send csv file to c:\data\xxx.csv Im able to save to plclogic and after doing this https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/5cac1390b4/ i can now "file transfer" to host pc downloads. but still cant transfer to c:\ im sure i have done this in the past with older versions of the 3.5 ide? just concat the file name as c:\data\My_Filename.csv. any ideas? cheers

Im Putting alot of my custom functions blocks into a library I have a EthernetIP VSD FB that i would like to get Status from the adaptor. EthernetIP_remote_adaptor.estate is one what i want to get. so anyone know how to point that to my function block? when i use the block i just want to have an input "Drive" that would point to the adaptor. like in softmotion when you just put the axis name in the FB to point the FB to a certain axis. I have a case statement running a process. during one of the steps it has started calling a bool var that is 2 steps further on in the case? i have even tried //commenting it out but it still turns on at the same point in the case. i have also run a trace but cant see anything that would trigger it. I have read through the forums here and I am unable to find how to get the barcode data to populate in a text field without having to first click into the text field to activate it. Hi guys, I am new to the Visualization. I am having a problem. I have multiple web-panel to use webvisu. I have my software dowwloaded into the one PFC200. There are 3 screens connected to it. I noticed that if I switch page/visualisation on one of the screens, the others will change as well. Three screens are with different URLs that I set in the software.
