Hey there, is there a way to extract any data out of a .library or a .compiled-library file? Do you have any tools or a description of the binary or something like this to get for example the referenced libraries of a *.library file or any other stuff? Thx in advance M.

Hi Sir Kevin. May I know how you came up with this solution. Im a bit confused but I tried to put this. [SysCom] Linux.Devicefile=/dev/ttyRS48 (remember, no 5 at the end!) then set com port in codesys to 6. It also works for me but want to know where did you get this. Thank you.

Ich würde gerne bestimmt Modbus RTU Slave Adressen auslesen, leider bekomme ich keine Werte vom Bus. Verbindung erfolgt über einen Raspberry mit Modbus RS485 Adapter, welcher erfolgreich verbunden ist. Mit einem IOBroker kann ich die Daten erfolgreich auslesen. In der Modbus_COM_Port => Modbus_Serial_Device habe ich Input Register 4000 %QW und Startadressen auf Input Register 3000, als Variable ein Array[0..2999] of Word, kann aber keine Werte auslesen.

Hi, though i am aware of the fact that Codesys doesnt not support Raspberry Pi 5 still i tried. Codesys Installation : worked Codesys Starting : worked but right after start it stopped. with Start Runtime it starts again but stops automatically after 5 seconds is Codesys planned for Raspi 5?! I am new to this and I have a Beijer X2 Control 7 HMI and in my laptop I have installed codesys v3.5, ix developer and codesys gateway control. I have designed a simple PLC programme and Im trying to connect my PC and Beijer HMI via an ethernet cable and scanit in the codesys software. But when I scan it does not show any device.

Hi, I just tried the example project with control WIN x64 and for me this is working correct. The only difference is that it is showing 'TabletPortrait' when i hold my smartphone in portrait mode and 'Monitor' when i hold my smartphone in landscape mode. This is because smartphone resolutions have increased i guess... You could check what resoution is detected and change accordingly in IsSmartphone method.

Hello, I have an OPC-UA server with an information model. For many values, there is a defined range (e.g., 0 to 100). If a client enters a value outside this range (e.g., 120), the StatusCode should change to Bad. How can I accomplish this? Any help is appreciated! Thank you in advance. Hi Ricardo. I was having the same problem with Codesys and a Raspberry Pi 2W while using the GPIO uart. Your post helped me a lot. Thanks! But could not understand why MODBUS parity bit makes Codesys MODBUS COM driver stopping to work after first request transmission. Did you see this @eschwellinger ? Regards, Nelson

Das Problem hab ich gefunden, CoDeSys konnte nicht mehr auf die Netzlaufwerke mit den Bibliotheken zugreifen. Jeder Benutzer ausserhalb von CoDeSys konnte darauf zugreifen. Behebung: 1. CoDeSys schließen. 2. Windows Explorer Netzlaufwerk trennen. 3. Windows Explorer Netzlaufwerk verbinden. 4. CoDeSys öffnen. 5. Bibliotheken werden wieder aufgelöst. Warum da keine anständige Fehlermeldung erscheint?

The new (UTF8) string library is faster and can handle large strings. https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20String%20Libraries/_strlib_start_page.html PS, in CODESYS, the maximum string length is not 255 characters. The String functions of the standard library are limited to strings of 255 characters. But you can use other (memory) functions to handle strings larger than 255 characters.

The string_Util_Intern is not the library I referred to. With a CONCAT function (also with the string util library) a search is done for the NULL character. If you concatenate 20000 characters to one string, then the longer the string, the longer it takes to find this NULL character.

Is it possible to somehow release the license so I could use it again. I have all information for the device and can provide it.
