Hi! Im slowly starting to loose it and i need som help! After a few night of reading up and testing i´m still stuck as a rock and you guys and girls are my last resort for this project. Basic facts; Win 11 Codesys 3.5 SP19 2 + (64-bit) Raspberry pi 4 model b 2 gb Raspian release 11 aarch64 What keeps me up late at night; Username and Password when trying to connect to device and device only beeing connectable for a few seconds. Some of the things I have tried; Username and passord; Credientials from the raspberry Administrator Administrator admin admin Admin Admin administrator administrator Usernames and passwords that I sometimes use (this was a longshot i know, but i was running out of ideas and energy). :) Epand filesystem, activating i2c, spi, 1-wire I can start the gateway and start the runtime. I cant install the edgearm64, arm64 runtime package eventhough I guess i should, i get code [ERROR] Error output: dpkg: error processing archive /tmp/codesysedge_edgearm64_4.8.0.0_arm64.deb (--install): [ERROR] Error output: package architecture (arm64) does not match system (armhf) [ERROR] Error output: Errors were encountered while processing: [ERROR] Error output: /tmp/codesysedge_edgearm64_4.8.0.0_arm64.deb code as a respons. I have tried to Reset Origin Device - no change. I have tried to remove the /etc/CODESYSControl_User.cfg [CmpUserMgr] but i could not find it and i was not sure if i should add it instead but i did not want to mess somthing up. I have tried to create a second gateway with the specific ip if the pi, that did not help. Could it be that i´m currently connected to the pi through WIFI? I can ping the pi and I can connect and control it through VNC. When i scan to select gateway target (scan edge gateway) i find 17-21 devices but can find the pi throug the mac adress. I started of trying to use the "CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi SL" (I have a license sience earlier) as i read somewhere that this could be used on a Pi4 as well but now i´m trying with the MC SL, no changes, same problem. Right now - gateway version 4.8.0.0 (edgearmHF, armhf), Runtime Package 4.5.0.0 (raspberry, armhf). Any sugestions are very welcome! As mentioned above, theese are some of the things that i have tried/done - but i have been going at this for a while. Best, Martin

Are you sure when running as service, it is not reading configuration from C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\CODESYS... ? Is the SRV user is set for the CODESYS services? 2 ways to fix it: Change the CODESYSControl.cfg in the installation directory (ProgramFiles/CODESYS...). Replace %APPDATA% with something fix. Modify the service configuration in windows service manager to run as a different user (ie bot as Local system account)

"google and some other providers, prevent from using as iframe and similar injections." Hi there, Task: dynamical changing the scaling of an bar graph, linear scaling whitout showing the bar only the scaling values and Lines for Main and partial steps. Define 4 Limits for Hi and LO Values with different colors Option 1 : use the bar graph whitout showing the actual bar whitout showing the bar, only the scaling values and lines for main and partial steps. Then what to do with the 4 Limits ? I could use 4 moveable Rectangles with the start and end value fo the areas but then the whoel bargraph must be transparent. Best way would be if only the scale ist possible to show as it is possible for the Meter 180° but this option does not exist for the bargraph. Option 2 : user defined HMTL5 Widgets wich may be some allreay has created or where is a dome for using this kind of html5 widget. The expanse for use html is in my eyes to big and gives more option for errors. Have some one experience in this topic or a hint how to do it the easiest way? Thanks for your help.

Hi All, I'm using a webvisu on a control Win V3 SoftPLC. My issue is with the Alarm Managers Alarm history. It does create entry's and does also show the latch data. But it only shows the message of the active alarms. In the history the message is empty (also in the .csv Export file). The archiving in the alarm group is checked and the Alarm storage is activated. I'm using the Version V3.5 SP22 Patch 1. Do you have any idea where that comes from?

If the PLC is equieped with a USB socket it's possible to copy the user management file via IEC code to a USB stick and restore it at the new plc. The file is located there: /PlcLogic/visu/app_visuusermgmtdb.csv I use this to reset the user management to default in case of the customer has changed passwords and lost it.

Hi darwin03, when all joints are 0°, then the 6-axis robot is in a so called singularity. This means that it is in a special position where it cannot move freely in all directions but is restricted by its own construction. For a simple example, imagine a scara robot where the arm is fully stretched. In this position it cannot move freely. You can find a lot of information about robot configurations in the www. As far as CODESYS SoftMotion Robotics is concerned, this page holds the most important links, look for the error SMC_CP_CONFIGS_DIFFER: https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20SoftMotion/_sm_robotics_errors.html The most important rules: 1) CP movements (linear moves, circular moves, cartesian jogging) cannot change the configuration during the movement. Both start- and endpoint must be in the same configuration. This excludes also the edge case that one or both of them are in a singularity. 2) PTP movements can move through singularities and cross configurations without problems. 3) SMC_SetKinConfiguration can be used to set the configuration of the axis group. The machine I'm currently using (Celeron J1900) already has the Kernel RT patch. I checked the performance according to the documentation. After running CyclicTest for 4 cores, the value for each core is around 6-7. I went through the entire process according to the documentation (I envy the TaskMonitor results in the documentation). The documentation states: "CODESYS Virtual Safe Time Provider The CODESYS Virtual Safe Time Provider is a standard interface that the user can use to transfer a second and external time base to the CODESYS Virtual Safe Control. The implementation is done as a client, which must run on another system with an independent time base." How do I implement this? I've been struggling for two weeks now - I'm too old to give up.

hello guys i am struggling with the "new" user management i have a visu that should be visible to everyone and without the need of a login but if a user wants he can push on the login button, opening the user login visu and after he has specific elements visible. how can i achieve that? no matter what i try, as soon as a user management exists, it redirects me to the login window instead of the visu

Just adding some info regarding the issue above. Logged onto the project using dev3og5 user (see screenshots); appeared to be ok although when attempting to logon to the device message says 'currently not authorized to perform this operation on the device' (screenshot). If user dev3og5 has same permissions as Owner user; why would it not be authorized. I am at a loss; any assistance would greatly be appreciated. Thank you Mike

CODESYS IDE is not a modern IDE. Its interface is ugly, its operation is not user-friendly, its functions are lacking, its feedback is slow, and its development is not good enough. In fact, CODESYS is a helpless choice under the current situation. But this situation will not last long. For example, SIMATIC AX is a strong competitor of CODESYS, which is more open and inclusive.

gatto, That works. Thanks. Typically I use my mouse more than my keyboard. That's why I was looking for a delete option from the right-click context menu or a delete button on a toolbar at the top. It never occured to me to use the keyboard. It might be a little more user friendly if they allowed a mouse wise ability to remove a line from the grid as well as the DEL key. Just a suggestion. Thanks for your help.

Hello, i am trying to find a way how to open Dialogs on a Single Visu. The options from VU.Globals are Target and WebVisu, but Webvisu opens the Dialog on both WebVisus and it should be separated. CurrentVisu can only be used when the Dialog is called from the Visu, but its all done in the Code. One Webvisu is for the User and one is for diagnostic reasons, and they should not be interfered from each other. Maybe someone can help me with this. Thanks
