Hello, Im running into a problem after moving from SP18 to SP20 or SP21. After the update I have an error with the TextFieldInmputHandler.VariableWritten which is implemented if de visualisation part of my software. The interface seems to have changed. I cannot find the new implementation. Does anyone know how to solve this issue.

Hi bertus, thanks for the additional information. Setting bAbort on a restart is not needed. Calling all FBs starting from the decoder up to checkvelocities with bExecute = FALSE and then giving a new rising edge on bExecute is what should be done. Do you also restart the Interpolator? (I don't think that has anything to do with the issue, but still...) Best regards, Georg

Codesys - SMC_ERROR SMC_CGR_INVALID_POSPERIOD - Invalid modulo period less than or equal to zero or greater than half the bus bandwidth. Has anyone seen this error and actually understands what it means and how to get rid of it? I tried to work around it by reducing the number of increments on the drive but then the drive itself starts throwing errors.

I need to add a button to the Visualization to close it. And create a shortcut on the Windows desktop to reopen the Visualization. This is necessary to configure, for example, a local IP address. Is this possible? What command closes the Visualization? Which program opens Visualization? Hello Simon, Thank you for your response. The problem occurs after about 10 online changes, after this a full download is required, but that means that the installation is going down. Is it possible to enlarge the space reserved for online changes, so that the problem occurs after 100 online changes for example? Kind regards Alex

Hello I'm trying to get Codesys onto a 'Secure' edge device (Linux) The device doesn't support 'sudo' so the connection doesn't complete properly. Is this the same as not allowing root access? Anyway, the screen shot shows where I am. What options do I have?

Hi gilad, the missing license does not prevent the axis from being enabled. As far as I know, Festo distributes a CODESYS SoftMotion driver for the CMMT drives together with their software. I would contact Festo and ask for the driver. Best regards, Georg

I believe the reason that I eventually lose my ability connect is because of exceeding the time limit for demo mode. Still unsure why I cannot update the edge gateway though.

By using the CAA FILE library (FB FILE.Open) (raspberry pi, codesys 3.5.19.0) I always get the error FILE_OPERATION_DENIED The file exist, it has r/w/x access and path is correct... Some idea to fix it?

256MB for the protocol yes, but the default value for this library parameter limits the library to 6kB per task scan.

From bash I usually see codesyscontrol.service as the runtime service. Taking a step back, I guess you used Tool > Update RaspberryPi SL interface to install the runtime: what does the info popup window tells you about your destination system?

... you say 1.6 Nm is only enough torque to unscrew a loose bottle cap ... This the the value of torque: from 1,2 Nm to 1,4 Nm that is cosidered acceptable for an old people. 1,6 Nm the torque considered acceptable for general use caps.

Old question but since I stumbled on it others might. He probably added the function he wants to be called before using the "add event handler". If you don't add it first they will be created with the correct params.
