Hello, I have set up an OPC UA server following several guides, including this one: https://revolutionpi.com/documentation/tutorials/opc-ua-codesys-nodered/. The license for the runtime is installed on the device. However, I am unable to create a certificate for the OPC UA server in the security screen. I always get the error message: "The certificate has not been created by the device." Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Hi, there is a plethora of hardware available for it to be succesful on. In theory every ARM32/64 or x86/64 device is a potential target. Next to this there are embedded device platforms for which specific toolchains are available. A good starting for manufactureres of CODESYS capable devices is available here: https://www.codesys.com/the-system/codesys-inside.html. That should give you a good reference point.

Maybe you have the "Devices" tab open(?), but the "templates" are in the POU pool. You can open it from the menu: View - POUs, or if it is already open, select the POUs tab which is normally next to the Devices tab. All objects which are part of a library are in the POU pool, because they should be device independent (at least most of them).

Hello to all! How can I read or write, via my main code (ST), to the registers present in the DO of my ethercat CoE servo drive? These objects appear in the list of the INITIALIZATION page, and from here I can only access them at startup. How do I access it in run time from my main PLC_PROGRAM?

After updating my Codesys to later versions, it seems my device repository no longer lists the proper runtime devices, nor ethernet adapters, or other previously installed device descriptions. What needs to be done here? Do I need to uninstall and do a clean install? I am now updating to SP21.1 to see if that fixes it. Any tips what I am doing wrong here are much appreciated. I don't see codesys control win, or have the ability to add an ethernet adapter in my project.

You need to activate an individual license (ticket number) for each device. THe hardware of each device is unique, so you cannot copy a soft container from one device to another. This license can be installed in a local (wibu - codemeter) soft container, or you could optionally activate it on a hardware (USB) key. The benefit of the key is that you can easily move it to another device, nor does it get lost when you replace parts of the hardware of the device or completely overwrite the image. yes i took the library from another forum: https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/f1400b71b6/, it is made for the ads1115 but the ads1015 is almost the same device with same adresses i only changed the divide value of the analog value, because thats the only difference between the ads1115 and ads1015.

Hello, CODESYS Control is running on my RevPi, and my system communicates over a CANbus with a master using the ConnectCan module (Slave - CANopen Device). The communication works perfectly fine so far. However, as soon as I call a Python script with "SysProcessExecuteCommand2" that creates a CSV file and executes without errors, the master does not adopt any changes to the Transmission Process Data Objects (TPDOs). I don't quite understand what one has to do with the other, and perhaps someone can help me with this. Here is my script call: SysProcess.SysProcessExecuteCommand2(pszCommand:='python /home/pi/test.py', pszStdOut:=sCMDOutput, udiStdOutLen:= SIZEOF(sCMDOutput), pResult := ADR(eResult)); Thank you in advance! Hello everyone, I am using SP19 patch 2 on a Kunbus device with runtime package 4.9.0.0. I am having the same problem as mentioned above. With the FB File.open I get the FILE_OPERATION_DENIED error. I have also tried the path /var/opt/codesys/PlcLogic. Any advice? Chris

You have to update the device in your IDE to 3.5.14 or you can contact your Codesys runtime supplier to know how to set the connected system to 3.5.19

Most likely your IP address is set to 172.... because you use a VPN connection to your device. Probably best to use the other Ethernet interface for your modbus communication.

thank you, i tried your library and device description but i don't get analog values. Do i something wrong? i also got an library error at the I2C_BASE functionblock the calcCycleTime gave an variable size error, so i added thet conversion from ULINT_TO_UDINT.

your driver is not running. All libraries must be present first! Then you can try the following. Delete the ADS1115 and the I2C_maseter from the device tree. Create everything again.

Using V3.5.19.70 with ControlWin x64 V3.5.19.70. Can start ControlWin and login to ControlWin but play button is grayed out. Under Device>Status ControlWin shows red with "No Driver Found" New laptop just setting up Codesys, Windows 11 24H2 Tried to uninstall and re-install with no success.
