Good afternoon to everyone; I'm stuck with this error and I don't know how to get out from it... I tried several time googling for alternative systems to control the PLC applications and resets but without success. I would like to realize the possibility to reset the CPU and to start/stop the applications as it was possible with the SysPlcCtrl23, but this library is no longer supported in 64 bit systems and it seems due to the cmperrors interfaces sub library that was included in the above said one. Someone found a work around for this issue?

Hi everyone, I forgot the Administrator credentials for my local Soft PLC (CODESYS Control Win V3x64) running on CODESYS V3.5 SP22 Patch 2 (Windows 11). When I try to login/connect to the device, it asks for the Device User Management username and password. I checked the CODESYSControl.cfg file, which points the working directory to: Windows.WorkingDirectory=%APPDATA%\CODESYS\CODESYSControlWinV3x64\905D4E32 However, I cannot locate the actual database/credentials files in AppData or ProgramData to clear them, and resetting the runtime directory doesn't seem to clear the authentication prompt. Could anyone please advise the correct steps to completely reset or wipe the User Management credentials for the Control Win V3.5 SP22 runtime? Thank you in advance!

That’s a classic CODESYS quirk. As soon as you enable AllowFileTransferServices=1, the web server locks down and demands authentication for everything, including WebVisu sessions. Since you're on a Raspberry Pi / Linux, trying to make the built-in CODESYS web server do both secure file handling and unauthenticated kiosk visu is usually a losing battle. A couple of ways to get around this: The cleaner route (separate the jobs): Turn AllowFileTransferServices back off in the config so your kiosk WebVisu opens freely without any login prompts. Then, handle the file download outside of CODESYS — just run a dead-simple Nginx/lighttpd file server or a tiny Python script on the Pi pointed at your export folder (/var/opt/codesys/...). That way your PLC security stays intact, and the kiosk screen just works. If you really want it through CODESYS: Check your Device -> Users and Groups in the IDE. Make sure the Everyone / Anonymous user group actually has explicit view permissions checked for the Visualization. Sometimes when file services are toggled, anonymous users lose the default visu-read rights and get booted straight to the login dialog. URL / Browser trick for kiosk: If the Pi is just opening a local browser on startup, you can sometimes pass the basic credentials in the browser launch script or use a small reverse proxy on localhost to inject the headers automatically so you don't see the popup. Honestly, running a lightweight HTTP/FTP endpoint on Linux (option 1) is by far the least headache.

Hello mates, I'm working with CODESYS V3.5 SP20 on a Raspberry Pi and I use "Raspberry Pi MC SL" as device on the project. I've installed the Control Standard L (multicore) license on a Wibu System usb-Dongle (cmStick/4.50) that already had another license from another vendor. I follow the online activation procedure from CODESYS documentation. Raspberry Pi has already CodeMeter installed for the other license. When I plugin the dongle on Raspberry and start the Runtime from Raspberry Pi Update in CODESYS I receive the message that I'm on Demo mode because the license is missing. I double checked that the license is activated in the dongle, through the WebAdmin of CodeMeter and the second license runs properly without any issue. I have already try to change the dongle from HID to MSD device and backward but the the Runtime cannot recognize the Dongle. I have also try to stop and start the Runtime through CODESYS without success. Is there anything else I can do to fix this issue?

I can only view the received values via sdo_read4. Please help me with this task. Moreover, I tried to write the values through sdo write 4 and for a while the data stopped being written and I overwritten it manually and sdo read4 started working again and at the same time they do not want to work in the main task. Могу только просматривать полученные значения через sdo_read4. Помогите пожалуйста с этой задачей. Причём я попытался записать значения через sdo write 4 и у меня на какое то время перестали записываться данные и перезаписал вручную и sdo read4 начал работать снова и одновременно они не хотят работать в main task.

It sounds like your TLS setup is basically correct, since the handshake works via OpenSSL, so the issue is likely on the CODESYS side rather than the certificates themselves. From what I’ve seen with the Azure IoT Hub Client SL library, you should double-check that the SAS token is actually being generated and passed correctly to the function blocks (especially wsDeviceSaS) and that the MQTT/HTTPS FB is really triggered cyclically-otherwise the controller won’t initiate the connection at all. Also, make sure DNS, time (NTP), and full certificate chain trust are properly configured on the controller, since IoT Hub authentication depends on them even when using SAS tokens. Another thing worth checking is the library/runtime version-there are reports that certain versions changed behavior and caused connection issues. Hello. Basic Info : I am using Codesys Control For Raspberry Pi SL. Version 4.4.0.0 Engineering version : CODESYS V3.5 SP19 Patch 1 (Its a old application) I am facing a difficulty with the "Device User Logon". The window (screenshot attached) pops up during login. When i enter the credentials (which i feel are correct), the windows pops up again no matter how many times I enter. To ascertain, I tried entering the incorrect credentials during which its clearly specifying that i have entered them incorrectly (which is why I am quite certain about the credentials being correct). I even tried going into Communication Settings > Device(drop down) > Change Runtime secuirity policy . However it again asks me for credentials which keep popping up again and again. I am thinking of upgrading the runtime to the latest version of 4.20 Will it cause any issues with the paid license? Please suggest me a solution. BR, Suyash
