Hi All, for my robotics application we are building a 2-axis parallel scara using the kin_bipod_rotary kinematics. Codesys implemented limits of [-90°, 90°] according to the documentation: https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/SM3_Transformation/Current/SM3_Transformation/Function-Blocks/Positioning-Kinematics/Parallel-Systems/Kin_Bipod_Rotary.html Would it be possible to overrule these limits somehow, our mechanical limits are more in the range of [-110°, 135°] In this range we also don't encounter point where singularity is an issue. I want to implement an extended I2C master for Raspberry Pi Control. I was hoping for it to be as easy as creating a library with a FB that extends i2cMaster and associating it with a device following the forge drivers documentation, but I haven't managed to make it work as the driver behaves only as an i2c slave. I'm thinking this is because the forge forum only talks about extending i2c, and the master portion is omitted since most users won't want to add a custom one. I'd like to know if I'm doing something wrong. Is it really possible to make an I2C master extension device? If so, are there public examples we can check out? Any info on this topic will be appreciated.

The message means that you (CODESYS) tries to open the function block, but this is not possible because the library which contains the FB is compiled. You either get this when you try to manually open the function block (while editing the application), but it could also happen that an exception occurs in the running application and CODESYS tries to show the location where it occured. If it happened in an FB of the compiled library, it cannot show this and you could get this message too.

I recognized that I have to start the two services "/etc/init.d/codemeter" and "/etc/init.d/codemeter-webadmin" in the docker container as well. If I do so, then the command "cmu -x" returns root@sensoredge-field-netfield-produktmanagment:/# cmu -x cmu - CodeMeter Universal Support Tool. Version 7.60c of 2023-Aug-09 (Build 5625) for Linux/ARMHF 64-Bit Copyright (C) 2007-2023 by WIBU-SYSTEMS AG. All rights reserved. So this time there is no indication any more that "Codemeter is not running". But still we are getting the error when using the license manager in CODESYS development system.

Hello, I am experiencing difficulties in configuring a CANopen device by sending SDOs. In particular I am attempting to write an Object Dictionary that has VISIBLE STRING as the Data Type. When I try to configure the sending of an SDO from Codesys to configure this parameter I am not allowed to enter a string value. In my particular case I am trying to change the Manufacturer Device Name ( Index 0x1008 ). Could it be that Codesys doesn't manage these types of variables?

Hi there. I have an issue to read and set time for the controller. In the issue many registers described as writable by 6/16 functions, and, in this time, also(!) readable! For example: I have time registers: min, hour, day, mon, year. By specifications it is possible check time (so I need always update these varibles in loop) and set time by writing these same registers, BUT how to set, if they will immediatle updated by current time after writing? So, I need to separate one address at two variables. I have seen option mark: Overlay of the process image by the holding and input register. I understand this so: When I READ by function 3, I will get variable that connected with the same INPUT address and when I WRITE by 6/16 this will change second variable that connected with HOLDING address. BUT, this mark doesnt work, when I write 6/16 and try to get by function 3, I will get written value instead INPUT variable. So, what to do?

Hello, I'm quite new here. I would like to create a new HTML5 visualisation. I have already imported some templates via the visualisation elements repository, this worked fine. However, when I want to open the html5control.html in the editor or create a new project myself, I always get this error: default filesystem storage could not be found. Did you add storages.plugin to the profile? I can't find this plugin. The Package Designer (V4.1.0.0) and Codesys Visualisation (V4.5.0.0) plugins are installed Can anyone help me? Hello all, I am using the OPC UA server with my custom information model. I have used the communication manager to add my information model under my application and created instances from OPC UA types. I see that the created instances in the OPC UA server has some opaque nodeid (attached screenshot) and I want to change that. Therefore I have the following questions: 1. Is there a way to configure the NodeIds of instances in the OPC UA server? I tried to edit it using the UaExpert client but got error "BadNotWriteable". is it possible to configure it somewhere so that the nodeids can be changed using an external client? 2. Is there a way to define the rule for creating instance nodeids within the codesys IDE? 3. Is it possible to create the instances before e.g. using a modelling tool like UaModeler and import them as part of the information model and use them later? Using the communication manager, I can only create instances from types. I couldn't find a way to map my existing instances to plc tags from my application. It would be nice if someone could help me with these issues. Thanks in advance. :)

Raspberry Pi CM4 after some 1 week of work was hard reset mannualy several times and after these hard resets User Management file was missed (when click login button, enter login/password, error: User Management File missed). Also programm can not open file via SysFile library, but this file exists and size of him is 0 bytes, but must be more any way (I keep some kind of archive via this lib). What happens, how files corrupted? Where do I need try to find this error of the codesys or system whole? In the log files of codesys nothing interesting about this happens. Thanks for reading Is this enough hold PlcLogic and SysFileMap.cfg as reserve copy in another place for restoring the programm? And how automate restoring actions if programm files corrupted?

This is currently how we do this : system.commands["Git", "Clone"].execute( "ProjectLocation=" + project_dir, "ProjectName=" + project_file_name, "RemoteUrl=" + project_git_remote_url, "GitProjectStoragePath=" + project_git_local_dir, ) system.commands["Git", "Checkout", "Branch"].execute( "PrimaryProjectHandle=0", "BranchName=origin/" + project_git_branch ) This works fine, except that, depending on the environment and the project, the "Project Environment" popup gets displayed to suggest for some updates, and waits for a user interaction, even with the "--noUI" flag injected as parameter. I investigated the VersionUpdateFlags, but the problem is that the git clone is an atomic operation that clones and directly opens the generated project without the possibility to inject any updateFlags argument (only used in the ScripProjects.open() function. I also tried to simulate some keyboard events acknowledge the window from script but I did not find the right location for the SendKeys statement, I think before the git clone call is too early and after is too late. So I am wondering if there would be some other way to do that. Is there some more proper scripting api for the git add on ? Is there a global configuration of the VersionUpdateFlags that would allow the popup to be disabled outside from any project context ? Is there some way to automatically acknowledge this kind of messages in a "--noUI" mode ? What do you suggest ? Thanks for your help, Roland Edit : I managed to solve my problem by following these steps in my pipeline : - create a template of a project and opt file preconfigured not to open the popup - open this project - initialize an empty git repo - add the remote, fetch and checkout the needed branch -> no popup is displayed, hourra Edit2 : The initial question was raised on a CODESYS V3.5 SP18 Patch 2 profile. Since CODESYS 3.5.19.30 a scripting API is available for Codesys Git that allows cloning a project with the support of VersionUpdateFlags https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Git/_git_using_scripting.html
