Hello Is it possible to view a camera RTSP feed in a visualization? It seems as though the browser element doesn't support this and we are trying to replicate an example using the ActivX element with no luck. We are using the Windows Control Win x64 device with a camera connected via LAN. If it is possible, can you provide some instructions please. Thank you

Try changing the port mode to digital input for each port you want to have 2 inputs in the connection settings for the device. I've successfully used ports for inputs on an AL1920 this way, I think the procedure should be the same for an AL1332.

Hi! I'm still on the hunt for drivers for example TCA9548 and a list or somewhere where all devices for raspberry is gathered. as this post is quite old I'm hoping/gussing that there is somewhere where work after 2021 is gathered? Or has the raspberry part if the community slowed down on creating device drivers?

Hi, When I'm adding a CANOpen device in my WAGO CANOpen Manager, CODESYS automaticaly generates some SDO's that I can't directly disable. From what those SDO's are generated ? I'm not finding anything about it in the EDS files. Also, is there a way to disable the automaticaly generated SDO and execute the manualy created ones ? Regards, Florian

For Raspberry Pi I have made a python script which regularly read a bulk of data over the ic2 from a device. Sometimes I get an Exception an IOError. I assume similar things can happen in CODESYS. So how does CODESYS handle that? Can I get any info about such an event?

I've tried the "updateComPortSettings" method on the slave device but it doesn't work and gives the "Modbus_COM_Port" an error. Can you tell me how you got this method to work? Thanks in advance for your help jérémy

Dear, We have an issue with SoftMotion and it's licensing. We don't use SoftMotion in this project. But a SoftMotion license is required by it. The License metrics tell's us there is a -1 Axes. Is there a way to reset this? Delete this? There was a MotionControl device in the project, but we have deleted this. But it stayed at -1. Thanks for you help.

I just want to highlight, that we intend to use the codesys runtime on an embedded device that has no possibilites to connect any dongle devices to. It is an edge IO-Link master with an 1.6GHz ARM computer running inside that has an embedded linux running and a Docker container engine: https://www.hilscher.com/de/produkte/edge-gateways-mit-container-management/edge-io-link-master

Codesys has a motion libraries (SoftMotion), but you need to buy a licence keys for them to work. the most basic one is SoftMotionLight. you just have to select your drive in the device view and add a SoftMotionLight CiA402 axis. then the library is added to your project. You can use the SML_* motion FBs and configure the axis now.

Could this be turned into a library? I'd love for a way to have the main program call a function block method using the program's I2C_master device. I assume I should be passing the master as a variable for the function block, but I don't see how that could be achieved

There are examples installed when you install codesys. they are located in C:\Program Files\CODESYS 3.5.19.50\CODESYS\CODESYS SoftMotion\Examples The examples won't be specific to your drive, though you haven't specified the exact drive. After you add the device to the ethercat master you can click on it and set pdo etc

What worked for me with this error was to go to Tools -> Update Raspberry Pi, select Install, and from the popup screen, there are options to change your installation (I changed it to single core, instead of multicore), and I was then able to connect to my Rpi 4.

I have created an EtherCAT slave code and fixed two slaves (IDs written in the 0xF050 object dictionary). The module IDs are 0x1 and 0x101, respectively. It can be scanned normally in TwinCAT, but when scanning in CODESYS, it reports an error. Why is this happening?text in the second pic means 'device cannot be found in repository'

Hi, I suppose that you are referring to the error code "SMC_FB_WASNT_CALLED_DURING_MOTION"? Starting of Softmotion version 4.15.0.0 the instance path of the function block that has not been called is logged into the device log. This might help you to identify why it has not been called.

I hope this tread will be able to help me. I got your new licenses and it was working perfectly fine. Unfortunately, my PLC got severely damaged and it can not run anymore. Is it possible to somehow release the license so I could use it again. I have all information for the device and can provide it.

To search for an exact phrase, put it in quotes. Example: "getting started docs"
To exclude a word or phrase, put a dash in front of it. Example: docs -help
To search on specific fields, use these field names instead of a general text search. You can group with AND
or OR
.
