hi, anyone else having trouble with opc ua in codesys sp20? i get Error 'BadIdentityTokenInvalid' was returned during ActivateSession i have tried both windows x64 runtime and linux runtime. i have created a completely new codesys project for this. in each of them i have only added the symbol configuration and selected one tag. i have tried several opc ua client, like ua expert, nodejs and python. all return Error 'BadIdentityTokenInvalid' was returned during ActivateSession so the problem must be the opc ua server.

Hello, I'm trying to access the group IDs of the connected user. "CurrentUserGroupId" var shows only the first group ID that the user is assigned, I need the other group IDs that the user is in. I find some structs but I can't find where they are used, like "VUM_User" scruct from visuusermgmt, where can I find this vars? https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/VisuUserMgmt2%20Interfaces/Current/VUM_User.html abyUserGroupIDs seens perfect but I can't find a GVL where it is used.

Despite working on it for days, I haven't achieved any results. I followed the necessary steps one by one as mentioned in the file you sent, but there hasn't been the slightest change. I couldn't find the step you mentioned "Set the 'Can Board Type' to PCAN USB" in the Word document. There is no such setting anywhere I looked. Is there a more detailed explanation available, or can you explain it in more detail? What am I missing?

Hello, Thank you for your response. In my application i use ethercat and while work i do not turn off power. After relative move motor is in standstill. As you suggest I suppose that problem is in drive setting but i do not see any option about increase standstill torque. Below i posted some photos from drive setting manager - PSD Servomanager Do you see any settings responsible for standstill torque? thank you

Hi, sorry I can´t help you with your issue, but I hope you can give me a hint on getting GUID for other objects than POUs. Your code states "Guid("6f9dac99-8de1-4efc-8465-68ac443b7d08")". We can I find the GUID / ObjectIds`? I wasn´t able to get details about the GUID of DataTypes (STRUCT/ENUM,..)m, Functions (FUN), GLOBALS and TYPES. Hi micik, I am not sure I am using well the code, because I checked the directory and there is no retains.ret file. Now I deleted the code from my project and the values are still works as persistant variables after ssh reboot it seems to me they retain as their previous value. So I am a bit confused, maybe 4.12.0.0 Raspberry Pi SL solved the persitent variable problem...

Hello, if you enter %t as a "Text" on a rectangle and do not link a variable in "Text variable", it automatically displays the system time. My question is, where do if find a variable, that contains exactly this time? I tried numerous variants using GetLocalDateTime or GetSysTime but I always have to manage timezones myself (which I do not want to do). I only want a variable with the date an time from my windows system, where the visualization is running. Where can I find this variable?

Hi. Thanks for the answer. I think I found your post on the Wago forum. I have tried installing all different nodeset versions of the opcfoundation.org/UA but neither work. Though I could not find the nodeset version called 15.09.2021 anywhere online. The opcfoundation repository only goes back to version 1.04.11 2022-03-29. Also wondering how I can generate a custom information model that only refrences the latest version of nodesets?

Doesnt matter. I have installed sp20 with latest RP 4.13. Same problem. Anyway My large project in RP 4.10 and SP 19 and I need these versions and use same installation programm for Codesys IDE and RP4 package. I did install again, because my SSD broke and now cant update raspberry... I dont know how to translate correctly project to newest version - there are 52769 errors and incompatabilities: after updates libraries anyway some errors still because of devices... I found solution with .deb file from raspberry package - dont need IDE anymore for update raspberry.

I ended up figuring it out It wasn't in my code. It kept taking me to 2 of my visualizations but it wasn't going to anything specific. Figured out it was some arrows that I had made to buttons for a mouse click to go to the other visualizations. I removed the text in the assign box but didn't remove the action "change shown Visualization from the list. If I deleted the images all together, the error went away. That's how I thought to go look at that.

Hey guys, I have a RasPi and can control my WS2812B (addressable light strip) via Python. The lightstrip is this one: https://core-electronics.com.au/1m-rgb-led-strip-ws2812b-144-per-meter-white-strip-weatherproof.html What I would like to do is to control it directly via CodeSys through the plc on my RasPi. I know I can run a python script on CodeSys, but I'd like to avoid doing that. Is it possible, and how do I do it? Is there a library that does this?

Hello, I am new to this forum so apologies if this is posted in the incorrect area. I am getting an error when trying to open the HTML5 Control Editor - this was working fine previous days. I am using Codesys V3.5 SP20 Patch 3. I have reinstalled the application. Below is a screenshot of what shows when I attempt to open HTML5 Control Editor. Thats what I did. The files existed originally, but when I had problems logging in as described I deleted those files (if they in some way had been corrupted causing my problems to login?). After that I have not managed to get the system to re-created these def-files. I manually created the folder structure (from CODESYS file browser) but this has not helped.

Hi Thanks, Manuel, for providing this solution and insight. I too had exactly the same problem as you did. While I did implement a custom filter, I'd also like to point out what jinlee mentioned above...I see no reference to VU.PublicVariables.Clients.Current anywhere?? In my case I only needed to show a dialog on a "master" client, not all the clients, so I filtered by IP address to do this.

Finnaly i get it working. There was a line in the file that set the ADS1015 chip in /boot/firmware/config.txt which i removed and after that the ADS1115 has a green turning circle and i got values. i created a new component so it fits our ADS1015. see screenshot. It works also with Codesys Control for Raspberry Pi 64 SL after adding the ULINT_TO_UDINT conversion in the library. i think the chip was all the time in use by the Raspberry pi itself. I use a raspberry pi 5> RS485 can hat > Modbus RTU, Industrial 8-ch analog acquisition module >weight transmitter jy-s60> S-load cell. I did not able to receive the signal from Modbus RTU to Raspberry PI5 where I use the RS 485 serial connection.

hi all I have a FB with IN/OUT variable. Inside the FB, I want to get the address of the IN/OUT variable. If I use __SYSTEM.VAR_INFO, I get the address of the FB copy rather than 'external' variable. VAR_IN_OUT MyVar: bool; END_VAR VAR Info: __SYSTEM.VAR_INFO; END_VAR Info := __VARINFO(MyVar); This give me the address of MyVar but I actually want the address of the variable passed to MyVar Any clues please?? thanks, ph

I have an SFC POU with an SFCReset Flag that I use to restart it from the beginning. It works properly. During an Action Step I set one variable to TRUE and I reset it to FALSE during the Exit Action. My question is if this Exit Action will be activated -and the variable reset to FALSE- if I get out of the active step using the SFCReset Flag.

I cannot find a way to delete the Set method/accessor. I need to be able to change (set) the DeviceID of an IO-Link sensor (see DeviceID.png) at runtime. I tried with both ProfinetCommon.PN_PortConfiguration and ProfinetCommon.IOL_PortConfiguration, but I get an error for both when I try to read the port configuration (see PN_PortConfiguration.png). Does one of those FBs is the right one for my purpose? Do I possibly make a mistake when assigning the parameter IOLD_ID/IOLM_ID?

Im Putting alot of my custom functions blocks into a library I have a EthernetIP VSD FB that i would like to get Status from the adaptor. EthernetIP_remote_adaptor.estate is one what i want to get. so anyone know how to point that to my function block? when i use the block i just want to have an input "Drive" that would point to the adaptor. like in softmotion when you just put the axis name in the FB to point the FB to a certain axis. Hello, I'm currently working on transferring a project I recently created on Studio 5000 to CODESYS and unfortunately CODESYS isn't compatible with AOI's so I was wondering if there was anyone who could help me transfer these L5X AOI blocks to ST Function Blocks that I can import into CODESYS so I can use them for this project or if you know where I can find preexisting Function Blocks for these AOI's.
