I use fbMsSQL_compact(FUN) of the MySQL Library to write data to the database. There is no problem when writing data using only fbMsSQL_compact(FUN). However, when I try to write data obtained using SysProcessExecuteCommand2 to the database using fbMsSQL_compact(FUN), an error message "Dest server on ip address:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and port:1433 is unreachable" appears and writing is not possible. From what I have researched, it seems that writing is not completed in one cycle of fbMsSQL_compact(FUN), and when SysProcessExecuteCommand2 is executed first in the second cycle, the work done in one cycle of fbMsSQL_compact(FUN) is reset. Could you please give me some advice?

I made hardware reboot and it still not working. I also tried Persistence Manager which need Application Composer Single License but Codesys support said that my runtime do not compatibile with it and it will avaiable in 2025 only. So I hope I will figured out how to use this code.

Hi, the option "Support client animations and overlay of native elements" needs a very powerful graphics accelerator in the system. I'm using the Pixsys srl "TC series" HMI with the code "P3" (so a 4+4 cores CPU) that runs very well also with this option active.

Hi All, I finally figured out how to solve it. The only away that I got it to work was to define parity to None on modbus configuration, and now works like a charm. Just for the record I'm using the GPIO port pins (8,10) and a RS485 to ttl shield that you can find online. Thanks all for the support! Regards Ricardo

for the package you net to install 32bit support(to have the native timprovider availble to deploy) sudo apt-get install libc6:i386 Then native Safeplc and native Safetimeprovider should be available to install. Raspi yes - but there is no official package available till now and you need have a rt_preemt patched kernel on the Pi, then it works like charm

I tried to use C code in the library that I have been developing in the project, but without success. I tried to use the CODESYS Control SL Extension Package to generate XXXdep.h and XXXltf.h, but without success. Do you have a better example of how to generate these files and how to compile them?

Hi, I 've just started a new project. Translating SoMachine (SCHNEIDER) to CODESYS 3.5.18//DEMO (EATON XC303) I succeed (I think so) to copy FB, STRUCT,... and I also integrated old library. When I build F11, I have a first problem : - Adress out of rang - Overlay It's strange, usually %ML100 > %MB800 Here ONLINE: %ML100 > %MB100 !! I don't understand why ? And idea ? Thanks

If you add any device to the CANOpen Manager it will send messages to verify the device is on the network. Do you have the Enable expert settings check box checked in the General tab? have you added any SDOs in the SDOs tab? I avoid using the CANOpen Manager and just use the CAN_Tx and CAN_Rx blocks from the library.

Codesys has a motion libraries (SoftMotion), but you need to buy a licence keys for them to work. the most basic one is SoftMotionLight. you just have to select your drive in the device view and add a SoftMotionLight CiA402 axis. then the library is added to your project. You can use the SML_* motion FBs and configure the axis now.

Currently in my test the variables declared in the first application are not visible and writable in the second. I just tried with version 3.5.22.1 and librarys updates often aren't recognized, usually not. Same behavior like 3.5.21. To describe my workflow: one IDE is used to test librarys as project and two or more IDEs to edit librarys. With only two open IDEs there is no problem, the problem began with more than two open IDEs.

Hello, I'm developing a custom HTML5 visualization control (via the HTML5 Control Editor / Tools > Visualization Element Repository) and I'm running into what looks like a target-device limitation when trying to deploy it to CODESYS Control for Linux SL. I'd like to understand whether this is a known/expected limitation or something in my setup. Environment - CODESYS Development System: V3.5.22.0 - Target runtime: CODESYS Control for Linux SL, package version 4.15.0.0 (installed together with CODESYS Edge Gateway for Linux 4.15.0.0) - Visu system libraries (VisuElems, VisuElemsAlarm, VisuInputs, VisuNativeControl, etc.): version 4.7.0.0 - Host OS: Debian RT (minimal/base installation) - We only use WebVisu, not TargetVisu. What I did 1. Built a custom HTML5 control following the official HTML5-API-Examples pattern (.html5control.xml manifest + ElementWrapper.js + CSS), installed it successfully via the HTML5 Control Editor ("Save and Install") into the Visualization Element Repository. 2. In the Visualization Manager, enabled "Support client animations and overlay of native elements" (documented as required for HTML5 controls to work at all). 3. With the project's Device set to CODESYS Control for Linux SL, compiling/downloading fails with: "Overlay is not supported for your target visualization device." (Visualization Manager) Build stops with 1 error, download not possible. Isolating the cause - The Visualization Element Repository confirms the control is correctly installed. - With the project Device set to a Windows-based device, the HTML5 control appears and is enabled in the Toolbox as expected. - With the project Device set to CODESYS Control for Linux SL, the HTML5 control is disabled/missing from the Toolbox entirely, even though it's installed in the repository. This points to the Linux SL device description simply not declaring overlay/HTML5 support, rather than a missing package or Debian-side dependency (WebVisu itself already works fine for standard/native visualization elements on this same target). Questions 1. Does CODESYS Control for Linux SL currently support WebVisu overlay (and therefore custom HTML5 controls)? I found documentation stating overlay support for target visualizations (Windows and Linux) was added starting with CODESYS Development System V3.5.17.0, but that seems to refer to TargetVisu, and our case is WebVisu-only on a Linux runtime. 2. If not currently supported, is this on a roadmap, or is there a different Linux runtime package/edition that does support WebVisu overlay for HTML5 controls? 3. Is there any Linux-side configuration or package needed to enable this (given the check appears to happen against a static device capability declaration rather than a live server check), or is this purely a matter of the device description bundled with the current Control for Linux SL package? I got this code working again. 3S/CoDeSys, your level of obfuscation and lack of documentation turns a simple task into a monumental complex challenge. The issue was that at some point the IecVarAccessLibrary changed and no longer allowed using IBaseTreeNode to retrieve a child or the number of children. The attached code has been updated to use IIecVarAccess6.VarAccBrowseGetChildByIndex instead. The code was also cleaned up but is still a work in progress. The current example only works one layer deep. This means native data types, arrays, and single-layer structures are supported. However, structure arrays and nested structures are not yet supported.

No, you can´t. I have only tried different browsers on my PC and then on my HMI device. Unfortunately the device´s browsers did not support pdf file as I needed so I had to switch to *.txt.
