I deleted the action from the device tree, but building results in and error saying the action is not defined. Is there a way to delete a main action?

However the package Manager indicates that no licence is required. It used to work, it seems that the free package has become a paying one. Can Codeys confirm this? BR

Is there any function function block which can store the persistent variable in HDD/SSD immediatley. My observation is that the persistent variable is getting stored when we shut down or restart the system (Windows+ CoDeSys RTE SL ). the persistent variables are not stored in HDD/SSD, if I power off the system without proper shutdown. Seeking your feedback.

There is currently a bug with the Raspberry Pi 64 SL where it is unable to Trend Global Retain or PersistantVars. The work around is to use standard Global Variables for Trend Data. This will be patched by Codesys in the near future reference "VIS-6170"

Hello, I am new here and need some help. I have added the Date Picker to a visualization page. The date selection works, but the current day is not highlighted. The date and time are displayed correctly by the system, which is set by default to “VisuElems.Visu_DateTime.DisplayUTC:= FALSE;”. CODESYS Control for PFC200 4.13.00 CODESYS IIoT Libraries SL 1.11.0.0 Application Based License: CODESYS Control Standard M I have (2) projects with similar code base and both using Wago PFC200. On the second project I am seeing 2 things that I have not been able to resolve: 1) Errors in the log under the Ethernet Item: IoDrvEthernet: [PCI\E1Q51CE62] Could not be found on target! Please check the Ethernet settings. 2) Exception for CPU Load. "Processorload watchdog: plcload=100, maxplcload=95" I have slowed down cyclic tasks on this project, even though on the first project there is actually more code - and it does not exhibit this behavior. In looking at the CPU loading via Linux 'TOP' command there appears to be 20% idle. So plenty of headroom (my opinion). In an effort to troubleshoot I have duplicated the target hardware on my bench. It ran overnight without a CPU load exception. On the test system, I have tried (3) version of the ethernet device. 3.5.16.0 3.5.17.0 and 4.2.0.0 Presently the log does not show the error, but status says the module reports an error. I really do not know if this issue is related to the CPU load exception. The issue does not appear to effect ethernet communications (ModbusTCP or SNMP or Webvisu or PuTTy into Linux Shell). On my test bench I have ModbusTCP slave simulators for all ModbusTCP slaves, but only (1) of the (5) SNMP devices present.

What maybe helps is the Visu Dialog ST demo project: https://store.codesys.com/en/visu-dialog-st.html This has an application IECOpenDialog where dialogs are opened using the VU.FbOpenDialogExtended function blocks. The fbOpenConfigurationDialog call has a reference (interface) to the "close listener" FB of which it's method is automatically called when the dialog is closed. This way you can create specific function blocks for each dialog when it is closed and do what you want with the data that might have been changed.

If I do online monitoring of code in f.i. a function block, I cannot see if the function block is called or not. In software from other vendors you normally have an indication if the online code you are looking on is scanned at that moment or not. Is there a way in Codesys to determine in the online view if (parts) of the code are scanned or not? Thanks

Hello, the option to update Rasberry Pi from under the Tools menu is missing in my installation. Currently I have the build 3.15.19.50, along with the Pi package 4.11.0.0. But the same problem is observed even with the latest build and Pi packages. I have tried clean install with both the versions but cannot solve the issue. I never faced this on Windows 10, but now the new PCs are with Windows 11 - this is the only difference. How can I solve this problem?

If your Control Win is the Modbus "Master" then your configuration should be something like: Modbus_COM (Serial port) - Modbus Master (this is the Control Win SoftPLC actively setting up the communication) - Modbus Slave (this is then your WAGO 750-315) You need to add channels to the Modbus Slave configuration to inform the master which variables to read/write from the Wago module. The way you configured it now, the Control Win is also a slave. PS, don't forget to put the PLC (Control Win) in Run.
