Any reason BIT and BOOL data types are not interchangeable? Trying to make a function which takes a BOOL IN/OUT parameter (Not allowed to use BIT) In the main logic if I make a DINT variable, and want to use each bit on different functions CODESYS will not allow it.

Hi, Codesyscontrol 4.13.0.0 Raspberry Pi5 64bit with latest updates. Cant get working GPIO - no output and no input. SPI/I2C not tested. GPIOs B+/Pi2, Input/Output is set in the parameters, assigned variables int the Mapping. Absolutely no reaction. Do I need to configure anything else to make it work? Thanks!

Hallo zusammen, ich erstelle eine CSV-Datei, die im Moment mit file.Write lokal in einem Verzeichnis (/home/pi/Logdaten/logData.csv) gespeichert wird. Jetzt möchte ich die gesammelten Daten aber gerne im Netzwerk speichern. Der Versuch, die Datei unter //Server/Public/logData.csv zu speichern, hat sich so geäußert, dass ein Ordner (Server) im Stammverzeichnis auf dem Pi mit Unterordner erstellt wurde und dort die Datei abgelegt wurde. Gibt es hier eine einfache Möglichkeit, die Datei vom Pi herunter zu bekommen? Leider habe ich im Netz nicht wirklich was hierzu gefunden. Grüße Hermann

Dear Forum, We are currently making the switch from OPC-DA (Codesys server) to OPC-UA (Running on a Codesys controller). We are using Codesys version 3.5 SP 20. Our Scada system is expecting Boolean's to be represented as a 0/1 (True Boolean) but the OPC-UA server is representing a boolean as False/True This indeed matches the OPC-UA standard, but is there a way to configure the OPC-UA server's boolean representation? As I wrote before on the title, I have difficulties to connect to see webvisu from localhost. The story: while waiting for the plc+hmi to arrive, I'm preparing the software, mainly the visual parts trough the control Win3 x64 (same version as the ide 3.5.20.10). The problem is that I can't see the webvisu with the installed webbrowser. I don't know if this is a problem, but I changed the port to 9001 (randomly "free") because 80, 8000, 8080, 8088, 3000 are all occupied by other projects (all on the Apache server). Is there something wrong with the config file? This is the url: localhost:9001/webvisu_app.htm and here the config file part "CmpWebServer". you need to get the addons that the person that programmed it used. I always store an .installation-config file alongside the project. If you have lost that, then it gets a bit of a headache: I think even with SP18 you can hit yes to open it anyway, and it will suggest which addons it thinks are missing, if you double click the yellow "missing-addons" in the status bar. If you know you have the right addons, you can do a "Save As.." and it will write your current addon list to the file, and you wont get the error next time.

I am having an issue where the manual start/stop push buttons on the HMI are supposed to take the pumps/blowers out of auto. The logic I have attached works for the pumps, but not the blower. From what I can tell it is the exact same logic, but it is not writing a 0 to the Auto PB variable. Attached is the logic, cross reference list to show nothing else is writing to it, and the HMI screen. Any help? Am I missing something? I am using a Groov Epic PR1, my software version is 3.5 SP19 Patch 5 32 Bit.
