@eschwellinger...How can migrate to the new version if i can´t do it??? The project generate with CODESYS DEvelopmentsystem Version=3.5. SP16 Path9 ...I want open with my version 3.5 SP19 Patch 4...I can´t update the my last version of master ethercat(4.4.0.0) and is not possible. My situation is not the comment tell you ...my situation is impossible upadte new version of master ehtercat if you create the project with older version. Have you got a idea? Can you help me please?

Hallo, ab wann kann Codesys CAN-FD? Sprich, ab welcher Version steht ein CAN-FD Master zur Verfügung? In Q2 2025 soll es bei Beckhoff den EL6753 (EL6753 | EtherCAT-Klemme, 1-Kanal-Kommunikations-Interface, CANopen, Master/Slave) geben. Diesen würde ich gerne verwenden um mit meinem CAN-FD-Slave zu kommunizieren. Hi Has anyone successfully used a Beckhoff EL6652-0010 Ethernet/IP slave terminal through an EK1101 EtherCAT coupler, or similar, and been able to set it up through Codesys? It seems there is no driver for it, and it can't be done? The only option would be to use the Ethernet/IP capability of the controller directly with one of its ethernet ports and a Codesys Ethernet/IP adapter + module and routing it through EtherCAT by tunnelling it through via an EL6614 switchport? Any advice would be appreciated. Billy.

Okey, thank you! Do you think it is something in this library, that makes it possible to do the configuration in a PRG? https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/IODrvEtherCATDriver/Current/IoDrvEtherCAT.html#id1 I think the codesys modbus libraries support configuration and connection to modbus slaves without having to add the slave devices in the device tree. Just do it from function blocks inside the program. I was hoping for something similar with EtherCAT.

I bought and installed SoftMotion Light now. When I try to add a SoftMotion Light Axis to my stepper drive and I go online it shows: "The license is missing or invalid". See picture What am I doing wrong? This is the right way right? First add your EtherCat XML-File from your stepper driver and then add the SoftMotion Light axis right? Thanks for your help esave

Hi, I'm connecting to a OPC UA Server using the Data Soruce Manager OPC UA Client. This works well until the OPC UA Server updates and the OPC UA list doesn't match up when i did last clicked the "Update variables" to add variables. All the variables are still the exists and none are removed from the server, but more are added during the engineering process. The error message i get in CODESYS is "Error in OPC UA call BadAttributeIdInvalid, Error ID: 268468277". The issues is fixed when i press the "Update variables" button and just press ok without adding or removing any variables in the list. Is there a way to either automatically update the browsepath if it fails or on startup, or to trigger it by code?

I'm trying to read data from Tridium Niagara 4.15 OPC UA Server, but I get the error BadCertificateInvalid. Hello, I currently have my trend configured with a maximum size limit of 5MB (additional settings can be seen in the attached image). However, I am encountering an error related to this trend, specifically within the TrendStorageAccess library. The device log shows the following message: TrendStorageAccess: prvCheckForSizeLimit (see the attached image for details). Does anyone know the reason for this error? Hello, For my delta robot i wil use the MC_MoveCirvularAbslolute function. Every time that i set the execute of this function has my Axis group a error. Thats is: The dynamic limits for the movement are invalid. What can i do that this error go away? I saw a view funcitons with limit dymanics but i don't now how they work. If i use the function MC_MoveLinearAbsolute than i have no error. Does anyone know how i fix this?

When exporting a Logical Device or Logical Exchange GVL using the native XML export functionality of the CODESYS Script API, I encounter the following error upon re-import: "Error in IEnumeratorOfTWrapper. Current. Could not cast: System.String in System.Char" I am using CODESYS V3.5 SP21 Patch 2. Is there a known solution or workaround for this issue? Notably, importing the same XML file through the CODESYS Engineering IDE's menu import works without error.

Hi, Softmotion Robotics does not support tracking in/out to dynamic coordinate systems with relative movements. Is MC_MoveLinearAbsolute an option? We changed the path where the CSV file is. From intern memory of the IPC to a USB key. We still have this error 'INVALID_HANDLE'. We must restart the Codesys runtime to clear it. That is a big problem for us because machine is in production. @eschwellinger What do you mean by "this is a security issue not to read/write in the plc allowed path"

Hey, I am facing the same problem. Basically UA Expert and other programs work fine with the login credentials. But codesys can not use them properly. I can see the server login to it manually but when I download the program and run the datasource never runs... Currently I am facing the same Error ID: 7012 and cant get it running properly.

Hello just to give more feedback the error I get is "ERROR_UNKNOWN :represents raw value of 5110" in File.DirOpen. The xDone never gets true, and I never get the listing of files (csv files in this case). In the hDir i get the value of 0 for a DWord!?

Hi! I tried to start Codesys V3.5 SP11 program and this error message popped up (see attachment). Program worked fine last week. I tried to uninstall and then reinstall the program but it did not help. If I choose Ignore or Retry options the program works expect the UI is missing. Any ideas how to fix this?

I dont know exactly why this error happens, but I think its because you have some wrong whiles. Because when i had that problem it was because I accidently wrote while true then and it was stuck in the loop.

I took a look at your project. First of all, a Raspbery Pi4 is installed. You must use the GPIOs_A_B(GPIOs B+/Pi2). The error ULINT can't be set to IDINT.... with your project as well. If I change your project to ‘CODESYS_Control_for_Raspberry_Pi_SL’ the error is gone.
