Hi Just new to motion and i am building my own 3axis cnc cutter using servo drives. i have every thing working quite well apart from mc_home. when executed (r_trig) it stops immediately and i get fb_wasnt_called_during_motion. if i execute the mc_home fb with a toggle it just runs and runs for a while then errors out. what im unsure of is the way mc_home works. from what i understand it changes the drive mode to 6 (homing) and should then run of the drive homing settings. once origin sensor is made then homing would stop and mc_home.done is true. and the position on the fb is where i what the new home position (zero) to be? or do i feed mc_readposition to that input? so i would think its the settings in the drive that aren't quite right. but i believe they are all correct. has any one got any info to steer me in the right direction? Hello Everyone, When I try to import some POUs that were previously exported from another project as an XML file, I get an error like in attached image and the process does not complete. "There are no objects in the export file..." I am using SP21 Codesys IDE and I do not know which version this XML (*.export) file was previously exported with. I would like to enable the feature to automatically generate POUs for Project/Library properties in some of my library/project files. The Codesys help pages indicate it should be on the bottom of the Project Information Summary tab, but mine has no such options (see screenshot). Is there somewhere I have to enable this overall feature or any other prerequisite I am missing? I'm having a serious issue with codesys-pro/git, because everytime I load my project I get around 40 unstaged changes with equal objects. If I only commit everything along with my real changes I strugle to locate them later. I've tried creating a new git repository, it didn't work. I've commited everything, it kept appearing. I've tried rolling back everything but it also didn't work. Does anyone know why this happens and how to manage it?

Hello everyone. I have a problem: I installed new version of codesys IDE. When I try open project in this new version, I have many errors about Visu: rectalnge/button/frame/etc does not exist. How update properly project? 20+ pages of visu pages from 100+ frames and all visu elems looks like "Error image". It is not problem of SP20->SP21. Any update has problems from visu side.

After updating my Codesys to later versions, it seems my device repository no longer lists the proper runtime devices, nor ethernet adapters, or other previously installed device descriptions. What needs to be done here? Do I need to uninstall and do a clean install? I am now updating to SP21.1 to see if that fixes it. Any tips what I am doing wrong here are much appreciated. I don't see codesys control win, or have the ability to add an ethernet adapter in my project.

hello guys i am struggling with the "new" user management i have a visu that should be visible to everyone and without the need of a login but if a user wants he can push on the login button, opening the user login visu and after he has specific elements visible. how can i achieve that? no matter what i try, as soon as a user management exists, it redirects me to the login window instead of the visu

Hi, I try to install the Codesys realtime in a Raspberry PI 3B+. When I click on the installation button I get always the message No connection to device: An established connection was aborted by the server. Raspberry 3B+ with newest raspberry PI OS. Codesys 3.5.15 Patch 1 Codesys Runtime Package 3.5.16.20 SSH is activated. I can login with Putty Ping is possible IP address search is possible Just the installation is not started.

I have a Control Win V3.5 SP20 (64-bit) application, and until now, I open the program (with a password) and download it. However, I need to give the client the option to install the program on the Controller, without them having to open it and access the code. So, I followed these steps: 1 – In the Online => Create Boot Application menu, I saved the generated files in a directory: Application.app Application.crc PlcLogic\visu\ directory with several files 2 – In the SysTray, I ran the PLC, and it created a directory. In the root of this directory (C:\ProgramData\CODESYS\CODESYSControlWinV3x64\E84889DB), I pasted Application.app and Application.crc. Since it created a \visu directory, I pasted the PlcLogic\visu\ files generated in Create Boot Application into it. 3 - In the general Codesys directory (C:\ProgramData\CODESYS\CODESYSControlWinV3x64), I edited CodesysControl.cfg, adding: [CmpLog] Application.1=Application 4 - When running the PLC, nothing happens and the TargetVisu screen does not open. What I'm doing wrong?

Hi everyone, I’ve connected and configured an MCP23017 over I²C on a Raspberry Pi using the available CODESYS/RPi library. Input reading works fine (I can reliably read a digital input). However, I can’t get any output pin to change state. Example: when I try to drive PB0, the watch shows MCP23017.Out_B.0 = TRUE (1), but there is no actual output on the pin (no voltage change). Anyone solved this?

Dear Eschwellinger, Thank you for the response. Does that mean that the license-manager inside the Codesys-IDE does not work with this setup anymore? Because when I use this I get the notification that there is no dongle attached to the device (see picture). And If I insert the license by the deploy tool, can I then redeploy the Codesys virtual control container, or does this erase the license completely?

I was trying to use subdevicesCollapsed attribute in device descriptor in order to not expand the subdevices when a new device with subdevices is inserted in the device tree. I use this as follows:<fixed subdevicescollapsed="true">. But it seems it doesn`t work. I am ussing Codesys v3.5 SP16 Patch4. Is anything wrong with this? Or am I mistaken with the use of this attirbute?</fixed>

Sorry for the question, but I'm not completely getting the idea here, could you be more specific, maybe give an example? I'm now in a state where I don't have a softcontainer on my license server anymore (even after reinstalling from the Codesys-IDE). I tried reaching the webserver of Codemeter but when I do that I get redirected to http://"IP":22352 This is not reachable, afterwards I installed lynx on my Debian machine (command line only). From here I could reach the webserver and toggle the network server setting, but unfortunately this did not help. I also tried to changed the remote read setting to 1 (in the Server.ini file). But after a Codemeter reboot this is overwritten to 0. I have the feeling that it should be much easier to get a license to work, am I missing some checkbox somewhere? Is there a tutorial (or manual) that explains the licensing sequence step by step, because I'm pretty stuck.

When evaluating Codesys functionality, I found that the VPLC tab under Deploy Control SL > Operation > VPLCs is 'gray-ed out', see attached image. I'm trying to evaluate how my infrastructure will interact with Codesys on a Raspberry Pi 4, so I'm trying to demo running it. I was going through the Codesys tutorial here, and it never shows the tab as grey, so I do not know how to proceed. Let me know if I can get any additional information that can help.
