Same for me. I have problems with UAExpert too. Can't see the Current Value of Enum and can't control. Did some Tests with Python opcua library. Not working with the communication manager so far.

I don't recommend using 'Communication Manager'. Under 'Communication Manager', the 'NodeId' type of OPC UA can only be of type 'OPAQUE'. This will bring compatibility issues to the development of the upper computer.

@eschwellinger - We are experiencing the exact same issue. RunTime 3.5.19.70 and IDE V3.5 SP21. It's 100% reproducible. All you have to do is disconnect the network cable for about 10 minutes. OPC UA Crashes and requires a reboot to fix.

Same Issue here. If I understood correctly codesys plans to discontinue the classic SymbolConfigurations. But somehow, the CommunicationManager doesnt seem to support structures or arrays.

Hi everyone, is there a way to programmatically clear the cache of the Data Source Manager in CODESYS so that variable values are re-synchronized from the OPC UA server (Symbol Configuration with OPCUA features)? Alternatively, is it possible to trigger a manual synchronization of data source variables from within the application code at runtime? Here’s the situation: A variable is first written by the OPC UA client to the server in one state of a state machine and changes to another state – so the initial communication works. Later, the server changes the variable value, but the client does not receive or reflect the updated value, unless the variable is actively written again. I’m looking for a way to force the client (data source manager) to re-read or refresh the variable state from the server, possibly by clearing the internal cache or triggering a sync. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Dear all, I am developing a Web Socket Client in Codesys 3.5 using the Web Socket Client SL library to retrieve data from a third party. Connecting and reading works fine however after 40 seconds the connection gets interrupted by the server due to keepalive ping timeout. After discussion with third party it seems that the Web Socket Client SL library replys to the Ping request of the Web Socket server BUT does not add the "Application data" = 4 bytes in the body of the Pingframe to the Pongframe. Therefor the server does not recognize the Pongframe send by the Web Socket Client SL library and automatically disconnects. Is this a known issue with the libary or am I doing something wrong? Is there a workaround to add the 4 bytes manually to the Pongframe before replying it to the server? Thanks in advance, Roy

Hi, I'm using codesys v3.5 sp21 software. I have downloaded the sample opc ua client project from https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Examples/_ex_uacapi_example.html and i tested connecting to "prosys opc ua simulation server". Through Anonymous connection it is connecting to server and can read data. Later tried to connect using username and password. First got a SECURITY_CHECKS_FAILED error, trusted the client certificate in the server and this issue resolved. Next got an INVALID_CERTIFICATE error, trusted the server certificate in the client and this issue resolved. After these two error it is not establishing the connection and not giving any error messages. Thank you for your answer. I did install certificates, especially for OPC UA Client/Server tests. This OPC UA PubSub test uses pre-shared keys, not certificates. By the way, I do you 3.5.22 patch 2.

Hello TCIS_Send needs to be longer than 4 bytes because idata is 28 bytes long. There may be other ways, but I would make a UNION with string/array of bytes. Write your STRING into the AsString part then copy the AsBytes part into TCIS_Send (Elements [3] to [30]) then 252 would be in [31] (I've assumed the idata is always the same length)
