On a website i can get the energie price. But how does that work in codesys? There is a video of Rest client. But i can find the HTTP library. I changed the interfaces to br0 & br1 as they are designated on the Wago PFC200. That issue is resoved. However, on site I have very high system cpu usage, system as in Linux. Presently it is not known why - my bench system does not exhibit such high system usage. In the past this was due to IGMP network traffic every 250uSec from synchronized inverters.

Sounds feasible, but how would I create this object so that both applications would use the same instance of it. If this did work, it's still not really the solution I am looking for as it would mean mapping every variable I want to use on the hmi through this object vs I was hopping all the GVL variables would be available.

I have been running Codesys IDE in VirtualBox on a Linux Mint host for many many years without issues. I use it every day and it works great. I wouldn't mess around with wine. Would probably just be a waste of time. Codesys Go might be the future of PLC programming on Linux! Can't wait to test it.

I need the ability to change the actuation point (tappet "X" location) from the HMI during machine commissioning. Is there a way to change the "X" value of a tappet programmatically?

Hello, Working in 3.5 SP11 32 bit and using the 3S CANopenSafety Slave 3.5.11.0 library on an IFM CR711S. The 3SCSSD.CANOpenDevicesSIL2 function block keeps throwing "UNSAFESTACK_NOT_OPERATIONAL" Additionally, the Status of the device gives "There was an error accessing an I/O parameter". Any ideas on where my issues may lay? I have not found any good documentation that would explain the issue.

It seems that the hmi sl license only works with windows. If i'm happy using web visu, rather than target visu, is possible to use remote opc-ua remote alarms without the hmi sl? Maybe it can be included in a different license that works on Linux? thanks

Hi, which CODESYS Version are you using exactly? Either update to 3.5.21.x if you are on 3.5.20.x if not - add a more secure pw. Seems that on adding the login credentials it is mandatory in 4.16.0.0 -to have complianct to password policy seems a bug that the message not occure.

Hi ustad41, cams can be buffered using the BufferMode input of MC_CamIn. If the end- and start-velocity of two buffered cams are not zero, there will be no stop. Not sure this answers your question. Cams can be changes on the fly by aborting the active cam. Please see [0] for details on switching cams. 1) Based on your first screenshot. Do NOT filter on "Phoenix". Then first select the Ethernet adapter (of CODESYS) and add this to your device. 2) Then to this Ethernet adapter add a Profinet Controller of CODESYS. 3) Then to this Profinet Controller, add your Phoenix Profinet coupler/adapter.

Hello, Depends on the architecture of your PLC. If the PLC is a PC-based item with a normal desktop environment, then you probably can. I find it simpler to install an IIoT Router in the panel, and use an encripted VPN to link to my office PC / Laptop on demand.

Thank you for the response! It's a path I had already considered, however, while it has always worked for me on inputs, it doesn't on outputs, because if I enable the option to update all IOs at every scan, the IO tasks overwrite each other. However, I have found something very interesting which I am posting below.

I installed CodeSys V3.5 SP9 for HY-eVision2 1.18.0.0 and activated the License Keys for SVN and noticed that the "SVN" doesn't pop up when i go on Menu - Project. For some reason the SVN works on CodeSys SP10. I already deinstalled all CodeSys Applications and installed them again but it's the same. Maybe the problem already occurred and someone could help me.

Hello, Has anyone tried running CODESYS Linux on Ubuntu Core? I'm having problems installing the runtime. The connection to UC cannot be established. Do any of you have an idea?
