from another post on this forum .... In your library project select Project -> Project Information. On the Properties table remove the "LanguageModelAttribute" Value "Qualified Access Only". This will allow you to access the object without qualifying the access. ...... I guess they've compiled it the library with that setting and now I need to mess around with versions.

In my case, I want to set some objects or arrays and set values to them later. This is a known bug in e!Cockpit. See Release notes of V 1.11: 1 e!Cockpit Release Version 1.11 (2022-07) ATTENTION: If a library that uses asynchronous tasks (e.g. WagoAppConfigTool, WagoAppCloud or function modules such as Dali-Master) is dragged into the project, the simulation cannot be started. It is already sufficient to add the library to the project (an FB does not even have to be instantiated). I guess you are using one of these libraries/modules in your project. We e.G. often use PWM modules, these are also affected.

Hello I can't find anything to read on the subject so I'll ask here. Up to now, when adding a (for example) Modbus Master, I've selected the version <= the RT version, so if I'm using SP13 Patch 3, I can use a library that doesn't exceed this. I've no idea if this is correct, but it's always worked. Can someone explain the 4.x.x.x libraries that have appeared; are they tied to a RT version? The controller I use is now at SP18Patch60, so should I continue to use 3.5.xxx or change? thanks

In the datasheet, I can find the parameters required for the message (Service, Class, Instance, etc.). I see the function block "Set_attribute_single" in the "EthernetIP Services" library, but I'm not sure how to correctly send the index and sub-index for the IO-Link device. The class in the datasheet is 0x80 for the IO-Link Parameter Object, but it’s not present in the CPIClass enum. Is there another function block more suitable for configuring IO-Link devices? (similar to "iol_call" in PROFINET or what’s used in EtherCAT).

Hi there! I'm testing out modbus TCP/IP for my home brewery, using Wago PFC200 as both slave and master. I'm using Wago library WagoAppPlcModbus. Holding registers, input registers' and discrete inputs works fine, but when trying to write multiple coils, it doesn't work. Any idea what I'm doing wrong here? Attached is a screenshot of my code. I tried both using bit mapping and without. If I change to FC05, and write only 1 coil at the time, it works fine. But I want to write all at the same time.. Any help is very appreciated :)

You have to install any libraries needed by the sample program. Click the button with ... next to one of the errors (see attached image,) then choose download missing libraries. Codesys should automatically locate and install the missing libraries, it's not flawless though, I've had some issues getting libraries to install. The best advice I can give if it doesn't work is re-install Codesys.

Hi, I'm trying to get Scaling working on my axis. An increment produces 36.6mm of movement, so I want to put the units in application as 36.6. However the docs say that I need to change bHiresMode as it doesn't show me the option for Precision in the User Interface. I'm thinking that I need to change the precision so I can enter decimal places. How can I do this, or is my thinking wrong? Thanks,

I am rather new to Codesys and I'm trying to figure out how to get the status of an alarm. This to interlock the start of a device until the alarm has been acknowledged... I am not sure if IAlarm.GetState (METH) can be used for this purpose. Thanks for your reply. I belive it is contiguous, I'm writing to adress 0 to 4. Or, do you mean something else? Well, something is happening. If I on the client set adress 1,2,3 to true, only 1 is set to true on the server side. On the client side, the data is array of word. But on the server side, the coils are array of bool. Holding register is array of word on server side. Can this be a problem? Attached screenshot of how it looks at the server side.
