Hi, My problem is with raspberry pi 4 with 2 GB ram,. Install codesys is correct but runtime works only few seconds or I can connect with device few seconds. I can ping raspberry and in system info I can see " !!!! Warning: no runtime license - running in demo mode(~2 hours)" but it is 2 minutes after runtime. When I press Start runtime I have another few seconds when I can connect to raspberry. After this time I couldn't find device. Of course, reapet start runtime works every time on few second. Raspberry is new and works with fresh install raspberry os 32 bit. Where should I start looking for solve of my problem ?

Hi, I am using Codesyscontrol for linux 4.11 with an USB dongle with license. The log file from codemeter shows a constant error message which repeats every minute: Entry (6000437:8755) not found - Event WB0200 (ENTRY NOT FOUND), Request IP-Address local(IPV4) with UserLimit API Error 200 (ENTRY NOT FOUND) occurred! The log file from Codesyscontrol itself shows runtime licensed and I experience no other issues. But I am still concerned about the error message in the log file. Does anybody know what this is and how to fix it? thanks

Hello codesys forum, My company is looking at developing a solution with Codesys ARM SL. The requirements will not tax the capabilities of Codesys. I would like to buy an AMR 7 or 8 Dev Board for experimenting. I am looking for a recommendation as I have minimal experience with Linux. Any input from the forum would be most appreciated as the hardware requirements as provided by Codesys for ARM SL seem pretty minimal (basically a arm7 or 8 with Debian is all). Our needs are small in scale- something like 8 digital inputs, 6 digital outputs, 2 analog inputs and 1 analog output. A small gui will be published via web visualization for external display (no local display). Communications with ModbusTCP and uart/RS485. It may be necessary to access i2c and make c or python calls to some existing code that is pretty small. Something like the EMCraft STM32MP1 SOM Starter Kit or Octavo Systems OSD32MP1-RED development board? Ideally something that has a path to a SoM for production. Kontron appears to have some interesting options too. Just having a hard time deciding where to start. Thanks in advance... LC

Hi, I have Proxmox running on a Rasperry 4 and have debian 12 ARM installed here. I wanted to install Codesys Control for Raspberry on it. According to the messages, the runtime environment and the gateway were installed successfully, but I can't find a device to downplay a program. The sudo service codesys start command fails. Gibt es die Möglichkeit vorhandene Benutzer zu löschen? Ich habe das Gerät / die PLC bereits über das externe Programm: "CODESYS Control Win V3 x64" gestartet, beendet und erneut gestartet. Aber es hilft nichts, leider ist die Sicherheitsverwaltung ausgegraut und ich weis nicht, wie ich die freigeschalten kann.

Hey guys, I have a RasPi and can control my WS2812B (addressable light strip) via Python. There seem to be problems with the latest version of raspberry pi os 64bit (I used the lite version). The codesys control runtime crashes after a few seconds. The same runtime works on the raspberry pi image from 2023-10-10 When starting the runtime from the commandline, i get the following error: ooops... this runtime was build for RASPBERRYPI. Hardware version or firmware version not supported! (and yes, I'm running this on a raspberry pi :-)

In your project you selected the "CODESYS Control Win V3" as device, but the device you want to connect to is a "CODESYS Control Win V3 x64". Those are not the same. If you double click on the device during the network scan, you will get information that these are not the same, but that you can change the type in your project to the x64 bit type. Another option is to "right-click" on the device in the device tree of your project and select "update device" then select the x64 type.

Hello, I am using an Inovance PLC to control a servo via EtherCAT. When I enable MC_POWER, the drive switches to Run mode successfully. I don't have time to go through the whole manual but as I said earlier, the servo drive does not support any of the modes needed for SoftMotion Light to work. If you want to use the full SoftMotion, you could use SMC_Homing function block to do the homing. This function block does not use the Homing Mode. It still uses the CSP mode and does the logic in Codesys runtime instead of in the servo drive. Read the documentation about it to see if it fits your needs. But if your controller only supports SoftMotion Light, I am afraid you will not be able to use the i950. I do a lot of motion stuff with different servo brands. Some support all the modes needed for SoftMotion Light and some don't. You really need to make sure the modes are supported before choosing a brand over another. I tend not to use brand specific controllers in order not to be limited by their supported features. I usually choose a PC (Linux or Windows) and install the Codesys runtime and licences myself. This is the most flexible way to use Codesys in my opinion. Depending on how many axes are needed in your project, a full SoftMotion license may not be more expensive than SoftMotion Light because SoftMotion is available as Application based license whereas SoftMotion Light is not. But of course, SoftMotion is harder on the CPU than SoftMotion Light.
