Hello Guys I have IFM CR1140 screens that I want to use the basic user management Elements on - But I am trying to figure out where I am going wrong with the References "REFERENCE TO VisuUserMgmtProvider" The Device will look after the security itself - I have enabled the User Management in Visualization Manager and added an admin user to the device and sync'd.

It will be a reference, because it's a VAR_IN_OUT. it's a little weird debugging the array online. It just shows as a POINTER TO INT, and you can't actually see the array from the function side. But you can still work with it as a normal array, not a pointer.

Hi Everyone, As we didn't have client for IEC - 104 - only server server is available , so because of that we are trying to make establish the communication between the external simulator as a Client and codesys itself as a server. We are looking for the variable behavior from CODESYS has to change according to the message triggered by the CLIENT (we are using simulator Application like Redisant). We are able to see the log data as the status of triggering the SCS from Client received to the Log data of the codesys device(attached screen shot of it) and in simulator panel we had set the details to trigger the data from Redisant to Codesys. Current Status: The project builds and runs successfully, but I need guidance on how to connect this to an external IEC-104 simulator for testing and visualization by using demo mode.

Hallo liebe Community, im Rahmen einer Studienarbeit gilt es ein OPC-UA-Informationsmodell in eine existierende CODESYS-Steuerung zu implementieren. Dabei sind wir auf die Frage gestoßen welcher Unterschied zwischen den folgenden Objekten besteht: - Symbolkonfiguration (veraltet?) - IEC-Symbolveröffentlichung - Veröffentlichung über zuvor erstelltes Informationsmodell In unserem Verständnis erfüllen alle Objekte die Gleiche Aufgabe nur mit unterschiedlicher Vorgehensweise und Darstellung im OPC-UA-Server. Während durch die Symbolkonfiguration die Variablen und Instanzen über lange und verschachtelte Pfade abgelegt werden, wird durch die IEC-Symbolveröffentlichung ein Ordner im Pfad der Objekte erstellt. Dort sind die Variablen und Instanzen anschließend zu finden. Bei der Verwendung von Informationsmodellen hingegen, werden die Instanzen direkt unter den Objekten abgelegt. Für welchen Anwendungsfall ist welche Vorgehensweise am besten? Vielen Dank vorab und viele Grüße Joel

Hallo, ich möchte IEC 104 Protokolldaten von einem Gerät über Ethernet empfangen, in ein Modbus-TCP Protokoll umwandeln und weiter geben (lesen und schreiben) an andere Modbus Geräte. Dies soll auch in die andere Richtung funktionieren, so dass daten aus dem Modbus Register vom IEC Gerät ausgelesen werden können. die Umwandlung soll eine pfc200 sps von wago durchführen. am Ende sollen die Daten in einer Webansicht visualisiert werden. das Programm der wago möchte ich in codesys 3.5V programmieren. Kann mir jemand helfen, meine Erfahrung mit Codesys ist leider bis jetzt nur sehr grundlegend.

Right now when I make a change to one of the tags in my code, I have to completely remove the IEC Symbol Publishing object from the tree view and re-add it. Then I have to completely re-add every symbol to the grid view by dragging them over. This can be a lot. Surely, this is not the intended behavior. Can anyone tell me how this is supposed to work?

IEC 61499 is probably something more complex than what you have correctly said so the prospects are interesting but we cannot ignore that it came out almost 20 years ago and has not won many hearts. I started to explore this world with a PLCnext controller because I love these devices based on RT Linux and Codesys is somehow usable with them but I have made little progress and I feel like inside a nutshell in the middle of the sea ;-) Gary's voluminous and precious book is always on my desk...

Hi All. Is it possible to use CODESYS KNX SL on stock Wago firmware (Codesys version, not e!Cockpit). I have Wago 750-8212 with firmware 0.4.04.03(26). When I tried to run 'KNX SL' or even 'Device Reader', I have got [FATAL ERROR] Unresolved reference: 'CODEMGETCONTENTBYFIRMCODE3' [FATAL ERROR] Unresolved reference: 'CODEMGETCONTENTBYFIRMCODE2' [FATAL ERROR] Unresolved reference: 'CODEMGETCONTENTBYFIRMCODE2' What probbalby means that there is no running CodeMeter component on PLC. Hi all, I need a help. I want to create Frame where some parameters are done via reference input to this frame. What I have realized that if I use for Label/Caption etc. string variable (%s) it is not included in translation list. This is a quite a big deal and I did not find way how to add text to the list manually. Would you give me a hint how to proceed? I hope there is a way (workaround) how to do it. Thanks a lot. M.

In the example project, you can see that a CAN.CANAreaReceiver is used which has an VAR_IN_OUT reference to a RECEIVER_AREA structure. This structure has a dwIdStart and dwIdEnd to filter a range of ID's and process them through the referenced msgProcessor.

Use a VAR_INPUT for properties. The reason for the error is that you can't get a reference to a property. Using a VAR_INPUT will copy the property to an input variable.
