from another post on this forum .... In your library project select Project -> Project Information. On the Properties table remove the "LanguageModelAttribute" Value "Qualified Access Only". This will allow you to access the object without qualifying the access. ...... I guess they've compiled it the library with that setting and now I need to mess around with versions.

Hello, I am trying to get TargetVisu for Linux working but i am having some troubles. The problem is that after installation it is not starting automatically on boot and i cannot start it from the update Targetvisu tool. When i try i get the following error (see attached screenshot) The file /opt/codesysvisualization/scripts/codesysvisualization_start.sh is missing... Steps performed: - installed fresh Debian 12.7 on virtual machine - installed all required libraries as described here: https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Control/_rtsl_target_visu_for_linux.html - then installed the TargetVisu for Linux SL 4.13.0.0 using the Codesys IDE Does someone know how i can fix this? Hey there, I am currently trying to find a good solution for the communication between CODESYS Control on Raspberry Pi and "the rest of the world", i. e. the things apart from CODESYS on my linux. My first approach was to use the c-integration. So I created a lib, defined extern fbs, compiled the code on my Pi using the SDK and put the .so into my lib project. When I try to log into the Pi and load the program, I get the error message which you can see in the attached picture. "Die dynamischen Module der C-Integration konnten nicht auf das Laufzeitsystem geladen werden" is german and means roughly "the modules from the c-integration could not be loaded onto the runtime system." Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? I will have a look at the unix domain socket thing next, as I am still in the process of finding the best solution for the communication.

I am trying to do "update device" in a project which was saved in a different version of CODESYS using ScriptEngine, a dialog with 'Yes' and 'No' button popped up showing that "Do you want to upgrade the storage format for this project? -if you click 'Yes', storage format will be upgraded... -if you click 'No', storage format will not be changed..." I have to click the 'Yes' button automatically by scriptEngine. I know from others topics here in forum, that some dialogs can be auto-answered using system.prompt_answers. Hi, I need to change the IP address of an ABB PM556-TP-ETH using ABB Automation Builder. The situation is: I have connectivity to the PLC using the current IP (configured in Communication Settings) Online Login works fine The Network Scan does not detect the PLC IP-Configuration tool shows all fields disabled I don't have the original project source, only an empty project The PLC has no SD card inserted The Online menu does not show an Upload option When I modify the IP in the project and connect, Automation Builder shows: "The PLC configuration needs to be updated. A full PLC download is required" I'm afraid a full download will overwrite the running program. Is there any way to change only the IP address without overwriting the application? I'm also open to solutions using third-party tools, Python scripts, or any other method (DCP protocol, direct TCP communication, etc.) as long as it doesn't overwrite the running application. For what it is worth taking into account on version 4.18: Softmotion 4.17 doesn't work with the SMC_TRAFO_Scara2. Very small numbers come out of dA and dB. Going back to version 4.16 solves the issues.

Hi @spiritcore, Did you find a resolution to this? I'm running into a similar issue using TargetVisu when a user uses the login. It only happens sometimes, and when it does the login/logout buttons still work but the other buttons on the screen don't work.

In your project you selected the "CODESYS Control Win V3" as device, but the device you want to connect to is a "CODESYS Control Win V3 x64". Those are not the same. If you double click on the device during the network scan, you will get information that these are not the same, but that you can change the type in your project to the x64 bit type. Another option is to "right-click" on the device in the device tree of your project and select "update device" then select the x64 type.
