Hello, I was wondering if there is a way in codesys to exclude the traces from the search when using the "ctrl+F" window ? That would be nice to improve the search functionnality when looking for a specific variable. Sometimes when I iterate through all occurences with the "find next" button, it opens the trace configuration window. I would expect to be able to close it and go to the next occurence with the "find next" button, but after closing the trace configuration window the search says it has reached the end of the scope (even if in reality there are other occurences of the variable elsewhere). I tried to enable / disable the "search up" checkbox but it's not changing anything. I hope somebody have insight on this, BR

Hi Yet another OPC UA question. When setting up a OPC server using "Communcation manager" (Symbol set and information model) in Codesys the NodeId is always given as "opaque" type. At least when browsing using UAExpert. Other standard OPC objects use numeric (or string) identifier, but for some reason my variables seems to get opaque/binary type. See attached photo. How can I change this? I can't see that this is a parameter in the CodesysControl.cfg. Can this be specified in the information model nodeset? And is it possible to specify the exact numeric or string NodeId for each instance? And on a related topic, is there a way to export the OPC server nodeId's with variable name so that it can be imported in a OPC Client? The .xml files in the project folder does not seem to contain the NodeId.

Regarding calling the Context menu from the keyboard in Devices, specifically calling the context menu window from the keyboard via an assigned combination. Goal: to have the ability to navigationally add internal Objects (Methods, Properties) to Function Blocks from the keyboard without using the mouse. The Codesys environment interface does not allow Windows access to this via Shift+F10. Externally (outside the Codesys environment), the hotkey call for the context menu (Shift+F10) from the keyboard works in various environments, but at the same time, in Codesys it does not (it doesn't work). I have already tried various options on my own to achieve this (but unsuccessfully): Tools\Customize\Keyboard\Objects (the set combination does not give the desired result) Tools\Customize\Keyboard\Objects... (the set combination is extremely useful as it provides access to adding objects directly to Devices but does not provide the ability to add an internal object (Method/Property) to a Function Block). Thank you in advance for your help!!! P.S. I have already started trying to implement a script-based solution to call the context menu via AutoHotkey - by relocating the mouse cursor to the area of the navigational selection with a subsequent call of the context menu on it and relocating the mouse cursor back to its initial position. Auf die Schnelle fällt mir keine Möglichkeit ein, wie die Webvisu aus dem WebBrowser heraus den PC auf dem der Browser läuft, direkt beeinflussen, sprich herunterfahren könnte. Die Webvisu ist ja letztlich nichts anderes, als eine HTML Seite, die im Browser angezeigt wird. Als einzige Lösung fällt mir der file transfer (Beispiel findest du hier https://content.helpme-codesys.com/de/CODESYS%20Examples/_ex_visu_logging_of_variable_value_changes-1799730.html) ein. Du könntest über einen Button in der Visu z.B. eine Datei shutdown.txt von der PLC an den IPC senden. Auf dem IPC müsste dann entsprechend ein Dienst laufen, der zyklisch schaut: Datei shutdown.txt vorhanden, wenn ja, Datei löschen und IPC herunterfahren. Viel Erfolg!

I'm having some troubles with this same issue and I'm wondering if someone can help me out. On a settings visual I allow the operator to enter some values however if they activate the page change button it will change the change with the Numpad dialog open. Since I'm using Visuelems.CURRENTVISU to change the pages I came across this code noted below for determining if the Numpad dialog was active. This code worked great however now in 3.5.19 it's now obsolete. I've tried following the directions in the attached program above however I can't see to get it to work in my program. Can anyone provide some help to determine if a dialog is open? As I wrote before on the title, I have difficulties to connect to see webvisu from localhost. The story: while waiting for the plc+hmi to arrive, I'm preparing the software, mainly the visual parts trough the control Win3 x64 (same version as the ide 3.5.20.10). The problem is that I can't see the webvisu with the installed webbrowser. I don't know if this is a problem, but I changed the port to 9001 (randomly "free") because 80, 8000, 8080, 8088, 3000 are all occupied by other projects (all on the Apache server). Is there something wrong with the config file? This is the url: localhost:9001/webvisu_app.htm and here the config file part "CmpWebServer". Could you send a screenshot of the Ethernet "General" settings? In that screen you can also search for the Ethernet interface you would like to use for your communication. Did you do that? Did you change any settings manually in the CODESYSControl_user.cfg?

Hello, I use an Axis group in codesys with a Tripod rotary kimematica. Now i can move it around the XYZ axis. However, if I only move the X or Y axis, it also goes up in the Z axis. Does anyone know how this is possible?

In CODESYScONTROL_User.cfg I have [SysFile] FilePath.1=/etc/, .dat FilePath.2=/home/pi/DataLog/, .sqlite, .sqlite.metadata, .sqlite-journal, .sqlite.tmp PlcLogicPrefix=1 Should that not write the Application_DataLog.sqlite in the /home/pi/DataLog/ directory? Or how do move the working directory for AC_Datalog ?

I had the same error. It took me a LONG way to figure it out, but in my case the problem was that I used LDATE_AND_TIME. It seems to be not supported, at least not in the Codesys version I used (3.5.16)

Reopening this thread as I need to make a few images visible depending on the value of a variable. However, in the properties of the image I do not have the option to make the image visible (see attached image). I´m using Codesys V3.5 SP19. However, when I use V3.5 SP17 I have the option to make the images visible. Can someone help me achieve this with V3.5 SP19? EDIT: Fixed. Just had to uncheck Support client animations in the Visualization manger settings
