CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi MC SL v4.4.0.0 CANopen_Manager 4.2.0.0 I did not call rm directly from my TASK-i2c, it was trough the attached python script. It is not always a problem happens, but sometimes a rm takes a long time. I reduced the amount of calls to logi2c.py but I don't understand why TASK-i2c sometimes can cause problems for TASK-CAN

I paid money for the RPi runtime because the Product Description says that GPIO is supported. It is also written in the Versions that since 4.11 RPi5 is supported. And I use 4.13. Nowhere is it mentioned that GPIO is still not supported... It's a pity that the Codesys developers still can't find a way to fix it. Are there plans for when it will be fixed or are the developers too weak? Just wondering, is there anyone with a working GPIO? Can you share the details of your system?

If yes, how? I defined a TEST integer variable with 300 value. I tried to add this variable to the width record (.TEST or only TEST), but if I saved, the value jumps back to 0. Hello, I have a Exor HMI with 2 seperatred ETH interface's. It is Configured as PN Master on ETH interface 1 and the IO's are working, as long as the development PC is connected to the ETH 0 interface. When the PC is disconnected, the PN communication drops and a reconnection is started. I installed the newest device description for Codesys and Firmware for the Panel. The IO Gateway is from Weidmueller What could cause the Problem?

Hallo Zusammen, ich versuche die Bibliothek FloatingPointUtils.compiled-library-v3 zu benutzen. leider kommt dabei folgende Fehlermeldung: Kein Quellcode für dieses Objekt... (siehe Anhang) Wie kann ich diese Bib einbinden? Kann ich diese irgendwo herunterladen? Mein Ziel ist es ein DWORD (float) in ein REAL umzuwandeln. Hello, I am new to this forum so apologies if this is posted in the incorrect area. I am getting an error when trying to open the HTML5 Control Editor - this was working fine previous days. I am using Codesys V3.5 SP20 Patch 3. I have reinstalled the application. Below is a screenshot of what shows when I attempt to open HTML5 Control Editor. For small project, I would like to use my industrial computer as a PLC + Industrial Computer. Like that I can save the cost of one PLC. That why I am using Codesys on Linux. With the nic it is not working. I already set the IP adress with /etc/network/interfaces. Can it comes from there ? looking to "Control Linux SL" docuemntation it should work with rtu.

Hi, I have a project in Codesys...and i need update a new version of amster ehtercat and i have a problem. The origianl version with create of project was 3.5.13.10 I can change version to Master Ethercat 3.5.13.10 to 3.5.16.70 but i can´t update the last version 4.4.0.0 (I attached the screen "Version Master OK-NO OK"). In the moment update to the last version appear a lot of error("Version Master NO OK") Can anyone help me please?

Any reason the ADS1115 wouldnt work with SP20.1 and Runtime 10.0.0.0 on the Raspberry Pi . Using Bullseye or Buster i run into the same issue: Libary and integration works in general as described above BUT i am seeing "bleeding" between the analog inputs . Specifically consecutive ones: So sometimes the raw from AI1 shows on AI2, AI2 on AI3, .. AI4 on AI1. Even with filtering i cant smoothen that out properly and i feel like something is wrong. Almost like the bus is stumbling over itself, or the request from Codesys to the device.

SP16 Path9 ...I want open with my version 3.5 SP19 Patch 4...I can´t update the my last version of master ethercat(4.4.0.0) and is not possible. Thats what I did. The files existed originally, but when I had problems logging in as described I deleted those files (if they in some way had been corrupted causing my problems to login?). After that I have not managed to get the system to re-created these def-files. I manually created the folder structure (from CODESYS file browser) but this has not helped.

I succeed to change the device to PI_SL but still the same problem of the I2C device switching between running and not running. the only difference with your project is that yo use I2C_master device version 4.7.0 and i 4.7.13, for GPIO i also use the 4.7.13 version and you the 4.7.0. Can you send me the older version of the Raspberry PI pheripals library, because i cannot choose lower version then 4.7.10 for the GPIO and I2C_master device

I am configuring a Lenovo M900 computer with CODESYS Control RTE SL 3.5.20.30. I use an Aoc E2272pwut LED 21.5 monitor. The touchscreen works perfectly in the Windows 10 PRO environment but does not work in the WebVisualization environment (Window opened at PLC startup). Does anyone know if it is necessary to configure any drivers in Win RTE? I am at your disposal for any questions. Thank you.

When you say it does not work, does nothing happen or do you get an error? I have not used this function in codesys but from my past experience with Modbus I believe the coils need to be contiguous, which may be why yours is failing? Have you tried using Write Registers (16) to do the job? Or is their data in-between you do not want to edit in the transaction?

Es geht nach wie vor um die Geschichte mit der Konvertierung einer Gleitkommazahl (lesend mit CANopen bei einem Microprozessor) Aus dem Input (hex value): 0x402e45a2 würde ich nach der Konvertierung die Zahl: 2.723 erwarten... => Über ein Beispiel wäre ich dankbar... Hallo zusammen, ich hoffe, ihr könnt mir helfen. Eigentlich möchte ich etwas ganz einfaches erreichen: CODESYS Runtime auf Raspberry Pi (OPC UA Client über Datasources Manager) <--> Cognex Designer (OPC UA Server) auf Windows PC Es will einfach nicht klappen. Wenn ich die Datenquelle hinzufüge, Adresse opc.tcp://192.168.150.10:4840 kommt immer BadRequestTimeout. Es ist keine Security und keine Authentication auf dem Server eingerichtet. Auf dem gleichen Raspberry klappt es aber wunderbar mit dem Tool opcua-client! Das heißt für micht, es ist kein Raspberry oder Firewall Thema. Was auch geht: Diese CODESYS Runtime auf dem Raspberry ist OPC UA Server (einfach über die Symbolkonfiguration) und eine andere CODESYS Runtime (ControlWin auf meinem Rechner) ist Client und verbindet sich über den DatasourceManager. Allerdings: Die Daten kommen im Client nur im 1s Takt an, obwohl die Aktualisierungsrate auf 10 ms eingstellt ist und sowohl Server, als auch die DatasourcesTask im Client auf 10 ms laufen. Ich kann einstellen, was ich will, es bleibt bei exakt 1 Sekunde Aktualisierungszeit im Client. Warum ist das so? Wenn ich auf dem gleichen Windows PC, auf dem die ControlWin läuft den UaExpert verwende und mich zum Raspberry verbinde, kriege ich die Daten im 10 ms Raster! Am Server liegts also nicht! Zurück zu meiner eigentlichen Aufgabe: Ich konnte mir vorübergehend so behelfen, dass ich auf dem gleichen Raspberry einen IO-Broker laufen lasse, der zwei Instanzen des OPC UA Clients hat. Er verbindet sich mit dem OPC UA Server des Raspberry und des Cognex Designers (also die zweite Instanz auf dem Raspberry, die es schafft, sich mit dem zu verbinden, nur Codesys schafft es nicht). Der IO Broker ist also das Bindeglied zwischen beiden OPC UA Servern. Über Javascript kopiere ich bei Wertänderung die Daten vom einen Server auf den anderen. Das ganze Funktioniert tadellos, nur die Performance ist nicht so toll, wobei ich mir nach der Erfahrung mit den zwei Codesys Instanzen nicht sicher bin, ob es nicht an Codesys liegt und der IO Broker nichts dafür kann. Ich komme mit dem Thema einfach nicht weiter. Könnt ihr mir Tipps geben? Am liebsten wäre mir natürlich der direkte Weg: Cognex Designer als Server --> Codesys als Client Aber zur Not wäre auch der IO Broker ein gangbarer Weg, allerdings muss die Performance stimmen. Gibt es noch weitere Wege? Ich danke euch für eure kreativen Ideen und Lösungsvorschläge!

I can tell you that what finally worked for me was to change the line: // create an ExtensionObject to wrap the value to be written ExtensionObject extensionObject = new ExtensionObject( new ExpandedNodeId("GVL_StructA", 5), structAData ); to: // create an ExtensionObject to wrap the value to be written ExtensionObject extensionObject = new ExtensionObject( new ExpandedNodeId("GVL_StructA|defaultbinary", 5), structAData ); I'm sure there are many other problems that could cause this very generic error, but this was my problem.

I have noticed that Codesys doesn't provide option to Export any Visualization objects even though there is option to check to export VISU_TASK, which is strange because when Import in another empty project, user will end up with build errors. I understand that probable reason for this is that PLCOpenXML specification includes only "PLC" parts of the project (POU, PRG, variable lists, device ....), but not sure about it. Perhaps, there is some option to include visu objects also in the plcopen xml export list??

Hallo, Wenn ich meine Projekte im Simulations - Modus laufen lasse bekomme ich für alle devices die Meldung "No driver found". Auf meinem Raspberry Pi laufen sie aber. Ich kann nicht genau sagen seit wann dies auftritt, bin mir aber recht sicher, dass es mal funktioniert hat. Ich habe Codesys 3.5 SP20 Patch 4. Ich würde mich freuen, wenn jemand helfen könnte. Hello, I have found the following instruction in the online help( https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/CmpSupervisor/3.5.17.0/SupervisorOperationSetTimeout.html ): Sets a (new) timeout for the given operation Supervision must be disabled to modify the timeout and should be enabled afterwards. However, I don't quite understand how to do this? Where can I disable and later enable Supervision? Is it through Codesys application or device menu? I don't find instructions clear.

Hi All Not sure what im missing here but i seem to have a lot of issues when i start a project say at home then try to open it at work the next day on another pc, using same version of Codesys. I try the build option when opening the project but still get loads of placeholder,library and some random errors i'm not to sure about. have tied project Archive, which is better, but not perfect. Can someone tell me what im doing wrong!. Cheers

just now i have tried loading the achive file from today at work. using 3.5.20.4 same as at work. when i open the project it says " prject inspection, this project has been saved with a different version(codesys v3.5 sp20 patch 4).? one option in the above "project inspection" window just wants to download that same version again. the other option leads no where as it say the required add ons cant be resolved. just end up going around in circles.
