I had been using Codesys Raspberry 4.9.0.0 Runtime for a Project with CAA File 3.5.19.0. But now with Update 4.10.0.0 and Raspberry pi 64 Bit.....i cannot compile my code as RSM Utility 3.5.19.0 is not recognised. Any help? Regards

there are big changes on OS side, so you need latest Runtime version which does even work if you stay on an oder CODESYS version.Especially in Bookworm from December it must be 4.11.0.0 use Bookworm from October

sorry I missed to say how to do this just update the runtime. (extract latest debian package out of the CODESYS package) but 8n this case an update all to the latest version including CODESYS is probably the easiest option now.

The description of this error in documentation - "Controller enable not done or brake applied". Maybe someone know how to solve this problem

I want to implement an extended I2C master for Raspberry Pi Control. I was hoping for it to be as easy as creating a library with a FB that extends i2cMaster and associating it with a device following the forge drivers documentation, but I haven't managed to make it work as the driver behaves only as an i2c slave. I'm thinking this is because the forge forum only talks about extending i2c, and the master portion is omitted since most users won't want to add a custom one. I'd like to know if I'm doing something wrong. Is it really possible to make an I2C master extension device? If so, are there public examples we can check out? Any info on this topic will be appreciated.

I got a Wago PFC200V2, running Codesys 3.5.16.40, 100ms scan cycle, consumes about 20ms. It will randomly crash the runtime every 10 minutes to a few hours. We suspect an overloaded ModbusTCP Slave Device, as this is work done by a 3rd party contractor, but we can not find anything in the help files or documentation, that mentions a hard limit on maximum number of clients connections. This PLC currently has 44 client connections to the Slave Device and 29 slaves configured for its own Master Device. For anyone still experiencing this issue, here’s how I managed to solve it: Symptoms: 1. Sometimes, on the first start of CODESYS Runtime, the modules fail to run. 2. After disconnecting and reconnecting the communication cable, the drive does not start again. 3. MC_Reset cannot clear the fault. Solution (what worked for me): 1. Check the axis communication using the SMC_CheckAxisCommunication function block (FB). 2. If CheckAxisCommunication.eComState of the axis is equal to or higher than SMC_CommunicationState.SMC_COMSTATE_BASE_COM_INITIALIZATION, then 3. Use the SMC3_ReinitDrive function block to reset the drive — and it works.
