You are right, that you can use the GetState method, but it is not that simple. You first have to get a list of (filtered) alarms from the AlarmManager. You can find an example in Forge how to do this. See https://forge.codesys.com/prj/codesys-example/alarm-manager/home/Home/ Then you can go through this list to get the state of all the (filtered) alarms. See below the code which you could use. I am using V3.5 SP18 Patch 5. I have noticed that when I Create a Boot Application from CODESYS, and upload this to my PLC via a USB stick the AC_Persistence does not work and none of my values that are in my PersistenceChannel are retained. However, if I connect direct to my PLC and I perform a direct download of my CODESYS program, my values that are in my PersistenceChannel are retained and work as they should. This makes me wonder if there are files that are missing when a Boot Application is created. I have tried taking a backup of my configuration files after performing a direct download, which gives me the plclog.zip folder, and appears to have the ac_persistence folder present within the file structure, however when I replace the plclogic.zip with the same folder that was created when I created a Boot Application, it still does not work but I wonder whether this is because the ac_persistence folder isn't stored in the correct location for reading. The .app and .crc files are embedded within the plclogic.zip folder, which obviously when uploading need to be standalone files in the root directory of the USB, so the intention there is clearly to extract the .app and .crc files and put them into the correct location within the USB. I wonder if it could be the same for the ac_persistence folder? I have tried moving it to different locations but none have worked. Has anybody else discovered a fix for this? I know the short-term solution is to do a direct download to the PLC but there are some logistical reasons why this isn't neccesarily the best solution for us.

Recently we had an issue regarding some simple code to calculate a rolling average. The code indexes from zero to 199 to properly store the current input into a circular buffer which then allows us to calculate a rolling average: VAR input_5s : REAL; outs_arr : ARRAY[0..199] OF REAL; i : USINT := 0; END_VAR ___ //this code runs every five seconds, calculating a rolling average outs_arr[i] := input_5s; i := i + 1; output := OSCAT_BASIC.ARRAY_AVG(ADR(outs_arr), SIZEOF(outs_arr)); IF i >= SIZEOF(outs_arr) THEN i := 0; END_IF There is a simple bug in this code where the index will be set to 0 when it has surpassed the length of the array in bytes (800 in this case) rather than larger than the number of reals in the array (200). The solution here is simple, replacing i >= SIZEOF(outs_arr) with i >= SIZEOF(outs_arr)/SIZEOF(outs_arr[0]). In this example when the index increased to 201 and the line outs_arr[201] := input_5s was called, codesys arbitrarily wrote to the address in memory that is where outs_arr[201] would be if the array was that long. I would like to find a way to wrap the codesys array inside of a wrapper class that checks if an input is within the bounds of an array before writing to that value. I know how I would implement that for a specific array, I could create a method or class that takes an input of an array of variable length, ie. ARRAY[*] OF REAL, but I don't know how to make this for any data type. I am wondering if anyone has ever done anything similar to this, or has any better suggestions to ensure that none of the programmers on this application accidentally create code that can arbitrarily write to other locations in memory.

I have an IFM cr1077 display. I would like to show B&R mapp view on IFM visualization. I used coedsys web browser elemnt for this. I could see IFM working fine in Internet web browser but IFM device shows white screen and freezes. I think there is problem with IFM showing the web browser. Is my understanding of the web visu right? am I doing any mistake here?

Ich konnte sehen, dass IFM im Internet-Webbrowser gut funktioniert, aber das IFM-Gerät zeigt einen weißen Bildschirm und friert ein. Ich denke, es gibt ein Problem mit IFM, das den Webbrowser anzeigt. Verstehe ich die Webvisualisierung richtig oder mache ich hier einen Fehler?

Hi, I assume that you have a Pfc200 G2 or something and work with the original WAGO runtime. Then I would recommend the WagoSysDynamicIoMapping. Here in the example projects there is a PDF file for the library: https://downloadcenter.wago.com/learning-material/details/ll0w3pmdunzvem83g1 There is a global functional component in a GVL of the library. I think it's called DynKbusIoManager or something. The active terminals are registered there. Then there are filter Fb's for e.g. the first clamp with a specific article number. Everything is in the PDF.

That way I could call it in multiple POUs to handle different arrays structures.

Hello, We are trying to implement an automated method of adding of a certificate and private key to the Windows certificate store for encrypting CODESYS projects. We want to do this so that users do not have to deal with details of certificates at all and to prevent user error. We are keen on enforcing strong private key protection since it ensures that a password is required for the certificate to be used to decrypt a CODESYS project. When we add a certificate to the certificate store and enable strong key protection using the Microsoft Management Console Certificates snap-in, it works as expected. However, through this method the user may mistakenly not enable strong private key protection. For the certificates we create programmatically (using Microsoft’s Cryptography Next Generation API in .Net 7) bag attributes are added to the certificate and key by the API. These bag attributes are as follows: Bag Attributes localKeyID: 01 00 00 00 subject=C = xx, ST = xxx, O = xxx, OU = xxx, CN = xxx issuer=C = xx, ST = xxx, L = xxx, O = xxx, OU = xxx, CN = xxx -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- [encoded certificate] -----END CERTIFICATE----- After using this certificate with bag attributes to encrypt a CODESYS project, it can’t be decrypted, showing this error: "The specified project could not be loaded. Possible reasons might be: - The project file is corrupted or invalid - The project has been saved with a newer version of the programming system. If this is the case, you can open the project in the corresponding version. Choose "Save as..." with the appropriate storage version, and retry again. - You may not have the necessary permissions to lad the project" We know that the bag attributes are causing the issue because if we manually edit the certificate file to remove them before using the certificate to encrypt a project, the project can be decrypted as expected. However, we are unable to automatically enforce strong key protection using this method. The movement and position of both z-axes must be very well aligned and calibrated. Maybe also to be adjusted by programming. Can you sent an example of your solution?

Hallo Forums Gemeinde, hat jemand von euch eine Idde ob und wie es möglich sein könnte die Einstellungen was für die Netzwerk variablen Liste nötig sind, also Broadcast IP, Port usw., über die Application einzustellen? Ich müsste je nach Projekt immer die IP anpassen, da auf den Anlagen die Software Identisch bleibt, wäre es für mich viel einfache diese Einstellungen über den Code einzustellen. Wenn man so im Forum sucht gibt es nicht viel was NetVar angeht... Grüße Andy

I mistakenly thought I didn't need to write the word attribute in the column labeled attribute. changed this 'symbol' := 'read' to this attribute 'symbol' := 'read' The last two in this clip are still wrong: I recongize this is probably a big "duh". That's ok. I like to fail out loud in hopes it helps someone else from looking silly.

Moin, ich arbeite an einer Visualisierung einer Fernbedienung, die auf mobilen Geräten laufen soll. Bei Iphones ist uns die Eigenheit aufgefallen, dass bei langem druck auf einen Button, die gesamte Seite markiert wird und dann kopiert werden kann. Manchmal popt auch die kleine Lupe auf, die einem helfen soll den Courser genauer zu platzieren. Weiß jemand ob man dieses Verhalten vielleicht durch zusätzliche Einträge in der webvisu.htm unterdrücken kann? Gruß, Daniel

See Release notes of V 1.11: 1 e!Cockpit Release Version 1.11 (2022-07) ATTENTION: If a library that uses asynchronous tasks (e.g. WagoAppConfigTool, WagoAppCloud or function modules such as Dali-Master) is dragged into the project, the simulation cannot be started. It is already sufficient to add the library to the project (an FB does not even have to be instantiated). I guess you are using one of these libraries/modules in your project. We e.G. often use PWM modules, these are also affected.

Hallo, wir sind etwas Ratlos mit der Handhabung der EVL/EVCs in Verbindung mit IFM CR7xxs Steuerungen. Uns ist aufgefallen, bzw. schon mehrfach passiert, dass ein Programmierer ein Projekt fertig stellt, dieses auf Freigegeben stellt und abschließt. Wenn ein zweiter Programmierer das Projekt öffnet und sich in die Steuerung einloggen möchte ist dies nicht möglich ohne Download. Es wird dann immer angezeigt, dass sich die EVC geändert haben obwohl im Programm nichts verändert wurde. Gibt es eine Einstellung was wir eventuell falsch habe? Wir kennen das so nicht von anderen Sicherheitssteuerungen. Grüße

But I´m wondering whether there is any possibility to represent that value as Text list. It´s quite common in other HMI tools and this is very useful in case of using some ErrorID for detail specification of error. I have tried to use the rev24 (the device repository entry not from 'scan for devices') and i keep getting 'invalid output mapping' or 'invalid input mapping' in the ethercat log. I cant even get the bus to run from the device description that comes from 'scan for devices'...

When using the FileOpenSave dialog and using the Visu_FbFileListProvider FB as an In/Output I could not manage to detect the difference of pressing the "Load" button on the dialog vs. pressing the "Cancel" button. In both cases, the selected file is updated if the dialog is closed when checking using the Visu_FbFileListProvider.GetSelectedFileName() command. How can I prevent reading or writing of a file when the "Cancel" button was pressed?

I'm not really sure what you are trying to do, but maybe you are referring to using the CmpCharDevice library? When you "open" the connection to a device, you can pass flags. What helped me is to set the non-blocking flag. Hello everyone, I created a visualization with a lot of REAL, with one or two digits after the decimal point. This causes me problems in terms of rounding and memory... is it possible to display an integer with a comma, like with PROFACE or SIEMENS? It's just an "abuse" of display, the comma is just on the visualization. This limits the memory (16 versus 64 bytes) and rounding is easier to manage... See print screen on proface software THANKS

Thanks, I will check the PLC Log when the PLC is connected again. I will update my findings here. Since I don't have access to the Linux Panel PC at the moment, I tested inside my development VM with the same Linux OS. I have no issues or delays connecting to the WebVisu using my Linux VM. Two main differences: 1. My host Computer has a faster processor compared to the panel PC. 2. There are no devices connected in my dev environment. I will continue testing when I have connection to the panel PC.
