Hello, what would be the most efficient way to check whether the file exists or not. I don't want to use file.Open function, it seems like rather inefficiet operaton. I considered GetAttribute function, but this function doesn't accept filename (with path) as an input. Basically I need to check first time when program is loaded to the runtime i.e. when application is started for the first time, whether a file exists on the specific location or not.

Hello, I'm trying to use FILE.Open to open file that exists in the given location. sFileName is formed from "Copy as path" in Windows. So I'm sure file exists and it is in the given location. And still, I get thiss denied error. What could be the problem here? Attached is a screenshot with current implementation.

Hi. I published My CODESYS-CNC Project to GitHub and I set it Open Source Software. Here https://github.com/k-s-saki/RPi_CODESYS_CNC My CNC Project is binary file , using FBD for IPO , so I found it is a little bit hard to work with people on GitHub. (diff / merge ) My question is 1) Is it possible to convert my project ( only POUs is also fine ) into text file ? How? 2) Would it be better to rewrite all FBD/LD into ST and copy them manually to text files? Thanks.

What I wanted to know is if there is a generic EtherCAT slave object already in CODESYS that I can use for anything, remote IO, Drives, VFD's and so on, as long as I match PDO's. Hello. I'm trying to use RecipeManCommands.ReloadRecipes Method for getting recipes from files. When I call the method it does not generate any error but also not reload any recipe to the recipe definition. Actually I have 6 recipe files on the directory PlcLogic. The rest of the methods work creating recipes, saving to file, etc. Does any one have the same issue? it is something to be set on the recipe manager?

I am having the same trouble. However, if I change the Login Configuration settings to 'Type: Login using the credentials determined at runtime' then the Connection information continues as 'Connection state: Connecting' and 'Error information: OK'. There is no User Management on the source PLC.

Hello, Without much info, I would assume that this is an optional object on the EtherCAT network and it's either disconnected or the address doesn't match. I would look into the devices manual or contact the manufacturer for further assistance. And, I would have posted a new topic instead of using a non related one... Cheers!

My protegoD drive is shown deactivated in the device tree. i can see its variables and other i/o in online mode but the device itself is deactivated. how can i address this issue. is there any configuration error.using ethercat link to connect to protegoD by Primo MC plc
