I had this code working in a previous version of CoDeSys to read variables from a GVL that were added to the Symbol configuration. The problem now is that when I get the _IBaseTreeNode_Parent, it returns a valid interface, but none of the methods or properties work. If you monitor the _IBaseTreeNode in the watch window, it does show the correct child count. However, it fails at step 30, where the child count incorrectly returns zero. In the image, you can see that the watch window displays the correct value that the property should return. Attached is the full project code. Hello, I am trying to implement a FB to make JSON formatted WSTRING type message using JSON Utilities 1.9.0.0 included in the IIoT library. In my case, I want to set some objects or arrays and set values to them later. After some more digging I realized that I get an error on the PLC Logger saying PersistenceChannel: 150 (invalid type in data: SimpleLibrary). I suppose the issue could be found in the ConfigData, which is automatically generated and which looks like this: 1 9##83 SimpleLibrary#GVL.aMoreZeros.[1]#0#64512#15#0 <[2]#0#64520#15#0 <[3]#0#64528#15#0 <[4]#0#64536#15#0 <#0#64544#15#0 <[6]#0#64552#15#0 <<lrVar#0#64560#15#0 <strVar#0#64428#16#80 <uiDummy#0#64370#11#0 Perhaps the fact that the variable is stored within a library confused the compiler? I tried changing the PersistenceChannel parameters to xCompressTags := FALSE which changed the entry in the data file from _xCompressTags BOOL:TRUE _xCompressTags BOOL:FALSE but the actual content of the data file and also the config data did not change.

I have a turbine system that get in alarm under some condition (E.g low speed of turbine) and block the itself. When the system is stoped there is no speed turbine and the system cannot start. To give to the operetor the possibility to bypass the alarms, there is an acknoledgement alarm pushbutton. This bypass must not work for everyone but only for those client that perform the login by (User Management). Furthermore, if the user perform the (manual or automatic) logout in alarm conditions, the acknowlegment must be annulled and block the system again. To do this, I need to know if an operator is logged in the page and is working to fix the problem; otherwise the syste must autoturn off again. Now I go to study your solution, if I have explaned better and you have another idea tell me please.

Hi @ph0010421, I tried the program the TimeTaken is calculated when stop is triggered. I want the TimeTaken to be continuously calculated and counting when a BOOL variable is true. Hello, I'm relatively new to PLC programming. I am trying to creat a ramp down function, I have an example here of what I am using. I can get the function to work, the issue is that the OUT (variable3) value is being held by the FB so after I use it once it no longer works. In this example i set variable3 to 100 and the rest is as seen, over the course of a minute it ramped down to 10 (as desired). But when I deenergize TEST_START, set variable3 back to 100, and then re-energize TEST_START it immediately jumps back to the previously held value 10. The reset on this block just pauses the function and holds the last OUT. In my case I will need the function to start OUT at a set value, ramp down to the IN (variable2) value, and then accept a new OUT value to ramp down next time the block is energized. Hopefully this made sense, if anyone has any advice that would be awesome!

Wie gesagt ich hatte noch keinen Kontakt mit SNMP. Um die Beispiele zu verstehen hier ein paar Tips: SetEngineId und CreateSNMPV3User sind Funktionsbausteine. Klicke rechts auf den Namen, Symbol suchen - Gehe zu Definition Dann sieht du entweder den Quelltext oder landest in der Bibliothek und kannst dir die Dokumentation ansehen. In deinen Fall siehst du den Quelltext. Die Funktionsbausteine sind in den Projekt POUs gespeichert weil das Projekt aus mehreren Applikationen besteht die alle diese FBs nutzen. sOID (drei Balken)oid → was wird da gemacht? In die Stringvariable sOID (String old ID?) wird der Inhalt von oid geschrieben. oid ist Member der Strukturvariable snmpVarBindings. Dem SNMP_SET Aufruf wird snmpVarBindings übergeben und geändert. Und da müsste doch irgendwo eine Verschlüsselung eingetragen werden oder? Beim Anlegen der SMNP-User wird ein Passwort vergeben, siehe CreateSNMPV3User. Dem SNMP_SET Aufruf wird nur der User übergeben, hier "readwrite". Die Bibliothek sucht sich die Einstellung des Users selbst.

Hi, For a project I am using the trendmanager functionality, I changed the placeholder filepath to which the SQL database is saved to: home/disk_usb, $trend$. Which only works as long as the usb was mounted to the PLC at boot. However, I'd like to be able to switch the USB's out if they break or for data analysis. However when a new (or the same) USB is plugged back in the shortcut doens't exist on the device anymore. Also in the device directory under root/mnt/ a new folder appears SDB1 in addition to SDA1 to which the Trendmanager was originally writing. The SDA1 folder is empty/unreachable while the new SDB1 folder has the contents of the USB drive. I tried disabling the trendmanger while unplugging the USB's however this doesn't work. My question, how do I make it so that when I plug a USB drive back in, it will be mounted to SDA1 instead of SDB1? Kind Regards

I am trying to install the MQTT Client SL in an existing project I have been working on for years. After adding the library to the project, and without adding any other code, upon building I get a C0180: Ambiguous namespace 'MBM' error between the memory block manager (MBM) in the NetBaseSrv dependency of the MQTT Client SL library and the memory block manager (MBM) in the CAA CanL2 dependency of the 3S CANopen stack library. I have tried: * setting "Only allow qualified access to all identifiers." in the properties for both the parent libraries. * deleting the 3S CANopen stack library. Upon (re)building the error simply points to another conflicting library - there are many. * deleting the Library Manager and rebuilding it. * adding the memory block manager library (used in the NetBaseSrv) manually and changing its namespace to MBM3S. None of the above allow me to access the MQTT library through its namespace (MQTT). Adding the memory block manager manually removes the C0180 error, but the MQTT library is not accessible - i.e. mqttClient : MQTT.MQTTClient; highlights the mqttClient as "Identifier 'MQTT.MQTTClient' not defined". Is there anything else I can try?

Hallo, ich habe in meiner Hausautomation eine Wago 750-841 mit einem doch mittlerweile umfangreichen Programm. Diese wollte ich nun gegen eine 750-891 der 4. Generation austauschen. Aufgrund der Programmgröße hatte ich damals die Speichergröße für Retainvariablen von 16#4000 auf 16#7000 vergrößert und so läuft sie nun seit Jahren fehlerfrei. Allerdings mit der 750-891 bekomme ich offensichtlich eine Überschneidung mit dem Modbusregister, denn die Werte über Modbus spielen verrückt. In der Standardgröße mit 16#4000 tritt das Phänomen nicht auf, reicht dann aber nicht für das vorhandene Programm. Dafür gibt es sicher eine Lösung, denn die 891 hat ja deutlich mehr Speicher. Allerdings kenne ich mich mit der Speicheraufteilung nicht aus, wo man da was optimieren kann, damit ich den Speicherbereich entsprechend erweitern kann, aber es zu keiner Überschneidung kommt. Für Hilfe wäre ich sehr dankbar

This "FB_Init" error has become very annoying lately. It's usually related to webvisu and is resolved by deleting all objects and related libraries. Of course, you need to re-add the deleted objects. Lately, we've generally been managing by not upgrading, but this problem persists in every version since SP20 and should be resolved. I updated a project from SP 19 to SP 21 and found 116 similar errors. I had the FB called via a for loop to call a few instances of my FB I have removed it the for loop and just called them 1 by 1. Hallo zusammen, ich programmiere öfters mal kleinere Messgeräte und Datenlogger. Je nach Einsatzzweck musste ich mir ein paar Gerätetreiber selber schreiben. Da es eine recht große Sammlung ist, stelle ich die hier einfach mal ein. Die Sammlung basiert auf den Gerätetreiber TCA9548 Multiplexer von Steffen Dreyer. Codesysversion: V3.5 SP18 Patch 4 Inhalt: -4channel Dimmer (Stefan Dreyer) -BMA456 (Andre Klien) -BME280 (Stefan Dreyer) -BMP280 (Stefan Dreyer) -EEPROM_24C512 (Stefan Dreyer) -ADS1115 (Andre Klien) -ICP10125 (Andre Klien) -PCA9555 (Stefan Dreyer) -PCA9685 (Stefan Dreyer) -PCF8575 (Stefan Dreyer) -SDP810 (Andre klien) -SSD1306 (Stefan Dreyer) -TCA9548 (Stefan Dreyer) -TSL2561 (Stefan Dreyer) Alle Gerätetreiber laufen über den Multiplexer, können aber auch ohne betrieben werden. Einschränkung: BMA456: Die Konfigurationsdaten werden erfolgreich in den Chip geschrieben, dieser meldet aber config wrong. Warum auch immer, der Sensor funktioniert und bringt hochempfindlich Beschleunigungsdaten. ADS1115: Hie habe ich nur die wichtigsten funktionen implementiert. 1-4 Kanäle, PGA, kontinuierlicher Modus, Datenrate. Alle anderen Funktionen (single-shot, komparator,alm) sind nicht implementiert. Das macht auch keinen Sinn, da diese Funktionen besser über die Steuerung realisiert werden können. Achtung beim ADS1115 ist zwingend ein Levelshifter notwendig, wenn ihr diesen mit 5V betreiben wollt. Ihr grillt sonst euren Raspi (SDA, SCL sind dann 5V) Gruß Andre

I am running ubuntu on a raspberry pi, and installed an application based license Control Basic M on it, it runs a demo program fine, does not timeout etc. however, when I add a modbus TCP device, I start getting errors: <Entry severity="error" component="CmpApp" user="nobody" timestamp="12/18/2023 3:49:42 PM" infoId="24">Online change denied. Application Application is in exception state!</Entry> <Entry severity="error" component="CmpApp" user="nobody" timestamp="12/18/2023 3:49:42 PM" infoId="68">Download failed: Application=Application</Entry> <Entry severity="exception" component="CmpApp" user="nobody" timestamp="12/18/2023 3:49:41 PM" infoId="0">Application app=Application has invalid license metrics!</Entry> the modbus tcp slave runs, and the counter ticks up, however, when I call the variables on the %IX0.0 in my program, and try to upload the changes, I am getting the error messages which stop the program as far as I understand, the application based, M includes 2 fieldbus instances, but on the other side is fairly new, anything obvious I am missing out here?

I'm having a tough time trying to get Modbus working on a Festo CPX-E PLC; it throws these pre-compiler errors as soon as I add in my Modbus TCP Master 3.5.12.30 to my project: I'm confused about the C0046 error, as I have IODrvModbusTCP 4.3.0.0 Library installed. So I thought maybe I needed to use the newest Modbus TCP Master 4.3.0.0, which is in my device repository: However, whenever I go to add this underneath the Ethernet adapter (which is version 4.2.0.0), the only TCP Master version available is the old 3.5.12.30 one, even if I have Display all versions checked.: I even went so far as to delete the old version, but then there were no options to add a Modbus TCP Master under my Ethernet adapter. What needs to be done to use the newest Modbus TCP Master? Or are these pre-compiler errors unrelated and I'm missing something? Any help greatly appreciated.

Hallo Edwin, meinst du das der control-win nicht wie SPS verwendet werden kann? Das program ist klein, und realtime brauch ich gar nicht, Es gibt im bus einem Turck inselstation mit 16 ein und ausgange, und ein MTS linearencoder, womit wir teile messen und abschneiden. Die cycluszeit reist auch nicht aus. Processorleisung bleibt unter 20%. Es geht mir darum das der profinet master in fehler geht, und nicht mehr seine telnehmer erkannen kann. Es kan passieren nach 10 minuten, aber auch nach 5 tage. Nur ein kaltstart bringt die bus wieder am laufen. (kein reconnect mochlich, auch die bus scannen functioniert nicht mehr) Wann ich aber ein ipscan durchfure mit Angryip auf der rechner sind alle telnehmer da. Ich habe noch eine andere application mit die gleiche anwendung, aber wo ein raspberry pi die SPS rolle spielt, und das functioniert einwandfrei. Soll ich fielleicht das OS von Rechenr nach linux umrusten? Der operator ist im moment sehr unzufrieden mit die "upgrade" von maschine... :-( lg Tim

Hallo, Ich gehe gerade Möglichkeiten durch, wie ich Buttons so erstellen kann, dass ich sie nachträglich möglichst einfach bearbeiten kann um z.B. die Farben des Aktiven/Inaktiven Zustandes darzustellen. Die Buttons bestehen aus einem Hintergrund als Farbverlauf, einem Text und einem Icon. Ich habe zuerst den ESC Image Button verwendet, aber auch hier müsste ich nacheinander alle Buttons bearbeiten, wenn ich z.B. die Hintergrundfarbe anpassen will. Jetzt habe ich die Buttons als einzelne Visualisierungen erstellt und in der Visu jeweils als Frames eingeblendet. Den Zustand kann ich dann durch unsichtbare Elemente in der Buttonvisu darstellen. Weil hinter jeder Buttonvisu ein Frame meines Hintergrundes liegt, kann ich die einfach anpassen. Siehe Bild- der Frame ist der graue Hintergrund, das Rechteck ist die Umrandung für den Status mit einer transparenten Füllfarbe. Gibt es da eine einfachere Möglichkeit die Elemente zu verknüpfen, sodass ich einen Button habe, den ich nachträglich möglichst einfach abändern kann? Bei den Buttons bei denen ich keine Icons einblende, kann ich direkt den Text auf den Hintergrundframe setzen. Wenn ich hier aber das farbige Randungsrechteck für den Status über das Frame liege, verdeckt es diesen natürlich. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit Elemente so einzublenden, dass dahinter liegende Elemente angeklickt werden können? Alternativ muss ich die Aktion auch noch mit dem überlagertem Element verknüfen.

Hey guys, I am trying to write a JSON. First time after login in PLC after download everthing works. But when I want to change values during runtime and try to recreate the JSON nothing happens. When forcing the xStart as an impulse i want to recreate it and see 2 as Key3 instead of 1 from the first run. Any Idea how to make this work? Die IP-Adresse des Profinet-Controllers soll zur Laufzeit geändert werden. Dabei handelt es sich um eine Anwendung auf einem PC mit einer Standard-Ethernetschittstelle (ControlWinV3+WinPcap). Die Datei "CODESYSControl.cfg" wurde dazu angepasst: .... Adapter.0.Name="Ethernet 4" Adapter.0.EnableSetIpAndMask=1 Die konfigurierte IP-Adresse wird zur Laufzeit an die tatsächliche IP-Adresse der Netzwerkschnittstelle mit dem folgenden Befehl angepasst (die Änderung von 192.168.2.33 auf 192.168.2.34 funktioniert auch): Ethernet.UpdateConfiguredIPSettings(IpAddress:=Ethernet.IPAddress, subnetmask:=Ethernet.Subnetmask, gateway:=Ethernet.GatewayAddress); Der Profinet-Controller geht danach auf Störung und gibt die folgende Fehlermeldung aus: "Controller-Status: currently active IP does not match the controller's configuration" Unter "Ethernet diagnostic information" kann man die geänderte IP-Adresse von 192.168.2.34. Ethernet läuft auch ohne Fehler. Unter "PROFINET IO Driver diagnostic information" -> "IPParameter" sieht man noch die alte (konfigurierte) IP-Adresse 192.168.2.33. Wie kann man die Störung beseitigen? Leider habe ich keine Methode zum Ändern der IP-Adresse auf dem Profinet-Controller gefunden? Reconfiguration des Profinet-Controllers?
