hello, it seem the installer 2.2.1 fix this problem. please try after updating codesys installer (if the auto update doesn't show the latest version available, you may have to download manually from the codesys store).

I have encountered an issue with Alarm management. A simple Alarm table to display active alarms. Historical alarms can be hidden and can also be cleared. Overall a history of 10000 alarms before it cycles. On one instance this error displayed: "Some kind of disk I/O error ocurred. Check disk space". Picture attached. I have seen this with an online change, but it was resolved by a full download. But this case was running for weeks and displaying alarms fine. The logged errors though were unusual. Associated log entries (multiples of these were logged): 2026-10-07T12:17:17.603Z, 0x0000001f, 8, 1, 0, #### Exception: Memory double free detected: <cmp>AlarmConfig</cmp> <addr>0x80330d0</addr> And later in the same day, the entire application encountered an exception: 2026-10-07T19:33:48.583Z, 0x00000011, 8, 81, 3, #### Exception: *EXCEPTION* [<excpt>AccessViolation</excpt>] occurred: App=[<app>Application</app>], T> 2026-10-07T19:33:48.583Z, 0x00000011, 8, 81, 3, #### Exception: *SOURCEPOSITION* App=[<app>Application</app>] area=<area>0</area>, offset=<off>9548256> I haven't found any explanation for a "Memory double free detected" and I'm unsure how to prevent it occurring. I suspect it might be the cause of the "Access Violation" exception, but how can I be sure of this? Would defining VISU_NO_EXCEPTION_HANDLING be advisable or not in a production environment? Any advice is welcome.

Hallo, ich habe seid neustem ebenfalls dieses Problem auf den Raspberry. Codesys 3.5.18 Nach dem Download geht die SPS in STOP und es blinkt schwerer Ausnahmefehler. Der Fehler kommt sporadisch und ist nicht reproduzierbar. Es passiert beim kompletten Download, aber auch bei Änderungen. Wie kann ich den Fehler eingrenzen? Nachtrag: Wenn der Fehler kommt, ist die Runtime auf dem Raspberry nicht mehr ansprechbar. Der Raspberry selbst schon. Für einen neuen Download muss ich den Raspberry neu starten. Das selbe ist auch in der Programmierumgebung, die Software hängt sich auf.

Why does CODESYS 3.5 show the message “Source code changes since last download” even though I did not create or modify any new variables? When I go online with the PLC, it detects changes and suggests synchronizing, but nothing was actually changed in the project. What could cause this and how can I fix it?

You use very old codesys, maybe SP13? the newer sp17 libraries are in a format not compatible with your version. I suggest upgrading everything to at least SP17, but may as well go to SP20 Patch 2.

Try OSCAT_BASIC and Function DW_TO_REAL. DWORD_OF_BYTE my although help. The Lib is open and free. It is not necessary to add this Lib, you can use/copy the source code just to get an idea.

When creating a new Codesys library, I am getting 2 errors for missing libraries. I can see that I am using newer versions of these in the library manager (3.5.17.0 and 3.5.19.0 opposed to 3.5.8.0 and 3.5.7.0 stated in the errors). IDE Version is V3.5 SP19 Patch 6. The "Download missing libraries..." button in Messages list is not doing anything. Why is it looking for older versions of these libraries? Can this be fixed by using the newer versions? How can I download & install the older version of these libraries?

If I select "Update boot aplication" while I download the code the persistent variables got a constant startup value. But during the running I am still not able make the persistent variables to hold they actual value.

Mir ist nicht bekannt, dass CODESYS CAN FD in nächster Zeit für Prozessdaten anbieten will. Müsste ein CDS Supporter beantworten. Aber ab SP22 ist es zumindest für die Service-Verbindung verfügbar (Download/Debugging...). Soviel weiß ich.

Hi, I've read that you can perform Atomic instructions like AtomicReadLInt on variables. However, I'd like to know if this uses stdatomic internally. My main question is : Is it possible to share atomic types in shared memory with CodeSys. If so, what types should they be declared as? If not, are the atomic functions lock-free or does it use a mutex?
