Hello, I have almost exactly problem already discussed here in this old thread: https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Engineering/thread/03af9426eb/ However, this is quite old and I assume not completely relevant. In my case, I use v3.5.20 on windows 11, so Winpcap is no longer supported on newer OS. Also, this hint about adding entry to the .cfg file under ProgramFiles(x86) is also not relevant anymore. I guess, I need to add entry SysEthernet to this .cfg file: C:\ProgramData\CODESYS\CODESYSControlWinV3x64...\CODESYSControl.cfg like this one: [ComponentManager] Component.1=CmpTargetVisuStub Component.2=CmpWebServer Component.3=CmpWebServerHandlerV3 Component.4=SysCpuMultiCore Component.5=SysReadWriteLock Component.6=SysCpuBreakpoints Component.7=SysPipeWindows Component.8=SysEthernet But I'm not sure about Npcap vs WinpCap. Please, if applicable, update these instructions.

Greetings to all, I'm working on a webvisu project on control win V3 x64 runtime, and have purchased 3 licenses for my application. -Codesys Control Standard M -Codesys Visualization L -Codesys Communication M I have them installed on a Codesys usb dongle When I try to download the program, a login error window appears with the message "No valid license found for the webvisualization". The control win v3 communicates with 3 plc, and have enabled communication over codesys V3 communication by adding one datasource for every plc in the datamanager. If I remove the data manager from the project, the rest of the visualisation can be downloaded normally. Do I need to purchase another License and which one? Please find attached the software metrics and the error screen.

Pretty sure I know the answer, but thought I would ask just in case. Is there a way to set variables declared in a POU to private so that they can not be accessed from other POUs. I tried using the library pragma, but that just stops the variables being displayed in the selection tree. My compiler version is 2.3.9.62 if that's relevant, and I'm using an ABB AC500 V2 PLC. Hello, I currently have my trend configured with a maximum size limit of 5MB (additional settings can be seen in the attached image). However, I am encountering an error related to this trend, specifically within the TrendStorageAccess library. The device log shows the following message: TrendStorageAccess: prvCheckForSizeLimit (see the attached image for details). Does anyone know the reason for this error? Additionally, where can I find more information to troubleshoot this issue? Thanks in advance!

I succeed to change the device to PI_SL but still the same problem of the I2C device switching between running and not running. the only difference with your project is that yo use I2C_master device version 4.7.0 and i 4.7.13, for GPIO i also use the 4.7.13 version and you the 4.7.0. Can you send me the older version of the Raspberry PI pheripals library, because i cannot choose lower version then 4.7.10 for the GPIO and I2C_master device

The error on File Open is 5114 File Operation Danied.. here below the implemented code and the windows file's properties. I use to implement codesys in RPI and this operation is immediate... Hi pernockham, I think you should ask your device vendor. For some time I used one from an Italian company where they had made a library where you can manage the ip with a function (something like SetIPAddr...), it was based on connmann on linux. From my little experience is better to use the "default" way, so for me is to manage the config file on interfaces or use the ip addr utility

Hi, I'm having some trouble with an OPC client connecting to the PLC. It could be that the problem is on the client side of things. The PLC have UPS power, but the switch and OPC client does not. It could explain some of the log messages. Could any of you help debugging by the log messages in the attachment? And if possible point me to the right library that explains the different messages? Thanks for all the help.

Hi everyone, I’ve connected and configured an MCP23017 over I²C on a Raspberry Pi using the available CODESYS/RPi library. Input reading works fine (I can reliably read a digital input). However, I can’t get any output pin to change state. Example: when I try to drive PB0, the watch shows MCP23017.Out_B.0 = TRUE (1), but there is no actual output on the pin (no voltage change). Anyone solved this?
