Hi,

A short question, why did you post a compiled (closed source) library?

with regards

    Hi Sven,

first off I think it is very cool to see you contribute and I do hope that you will continue to do so ;-) In no way my remark is ment to scare you away.

However, CODESYS Forge is fully envisioned and intended for open-source contributions. CODESYS has provided everyone with a free and open platform for people to share ideas and get inspired by others. They have been so kind to let us, the community, use SVN plugin for free with CODESYS Forge and are now considering to enable git usage for free use in combination with Forge in one form or another.

I was wondering if you would be so kind to post the source code in the form of the open .library format. That way we all can study your sourcecode and use it and/or get inspired by it. We can even a give you free feedback on the programmingstyle and help to correct correct bugs if any.

Hoping to see the open version of the library soon.

    With kind regards,

    Haico

ps if you commit the open source lbray to the repository you can add Ticket [#1] to the commit message (either svn or git) so it will directly link to this ticket. This way you can easily keep track of tickets in your commited code.
