    Hello,

What is this storage format thing?

Me and my collegue are both working with Codesys SP18 and when we try to open the same project (not at the same time), we keep getting this confusing warning.

What can I do to fix this?

    No one knows?
    Please...?

I keep getting this annoying and confusing warning. Is there a way to get rid of this?

    Thank you

I have started getting the same warning ever since upgrading my project to SP18.
Very confusing message, since V3.5 SP18 is the latest version of CODESYS.

I am still having this issue. I really hope someone from Codesys could help. Please.

    Thank you.

could you please send the projectarchive to the store my question option?

I will add the project archive here as there does not seem to be a way to send the project to "my question".

This is a very very simple project that I created using 3.5.18.0. And when I open it with the same version and try to save it again, it gives me the confusing storage format message.

To follow up on this: I chose "Yes" at the prompt and the message has not appeared since. It has certainly remained compatible with V3.5 SP18, so the message must be wrong.

I suspect it is meant to say "...you will not be able to open this project with V3.5 SP17 any more."

It would be nice to get confirmation that there are no unintended side-effects from clicking "Yes" at this confusing prompt.

I've given up on this. I click yes everytime. At least it works. Sometimes, just copying a .project file and openning it again on the same PC with the same version of Codesys triggers this message. Very confusing.

      Incredible!
That is what I'm doing too :)

Could you please tell me whether you are opening and saving CODESYS projects using a shared folder or your projects are located on a local drive like C: for instance

      Thank you

I always work locally on my projects but I do backups on a google drive. I always save my projects on my local drive and then copy them to a google drive.

Thank you I asked that, as I work using shared folders. I wanted to understand whether the "issue" has something to do with shared folder, which definitely it hasn't
