Hi,
Sftp is available in this wheezy image,
it is more safe to use sftp I would recommend to use it instead of ftp.
(Even if you use totalcommander there is a add on for secure ftp available - but also many clients for sftp are available)
If really needed sure you could install an ftp server too.
There so many tutorials on how to do it for example:
Does the rasperry pi codesys iso support a ftp server functionality? If yes,,how do it?
