Anyone have a guide or documentation on getting the OPC server to work on Beaglebone? I can see the server but it refuses to connect.

Depending on which version you are using, default is encrypted.
Try to connect with OPC UA Expert to check.

I am using UaExpert. When I browse to the server I get two options. Both of which are 'None - None (uatcp-uasc-uabinary)'. When I try to connect with username and password I get:

The server returned no cerfiticate, all cerfiticate checks will be skipped.
Error 'BadConfigurationError' was returned during ActivateSession

This exact configuration works on Raspberry Pi and Windows. Just Beaglebone that doesn't work.

I have the same problem, did you solved your problem ? in my case it's seems to be becaune "no certificate for OPC UA server available".

Man, this was a long time ago. I think the problem probably stemmed from not loading the certificates from the client and the server on the server and client respectively in the correct manner. I believe I ended up getting around it just by removing all security on the server. In the end we did not move forward with that architecture so I never had to actually fix it.

ah ok, I will keep trying, I already removed all security from the Server side. I'm new on codesys and I don't know yet how to implement the certificates, but I will find out and also try.

      thanks for your reply.

Hello, In my case all was ok on the BeagleBone side (OPC server) but wrong on the client side (was OK with UA Expert who manage properly its own certificates. I finnaly removed all security settings
