    Hello,

I am trying to use Codesys RTE CX 3.5.17.10 on a Beckhoff CX5140. Though it is claimed that Windows 10 is supported, the windows driver would not update to use the CmpEt1000Drv. I tried to manually update the drivers to this but after doing so, the Beckhoff could ping back and forth to the developer computer, but the device would not be scanned. Is there something different about the CX drivers for Windows 10 x64 that I am missing?

    Hi,
    no should work,
    1. could you remove the filter - to see plc's in the network?
    2. if you use the mouse and point to the RTE CX symbol in the task tray - you'll see in the tooltip which
plc type is up and running.
I expect that your project and the real running plc does not fit - then you have no plc scan result even if the plc is running.

    Hello,

By unchecking the button I can now see the device, but it is greyed out. I am currently using "CODESYS Control RTE V3 Version 3.5.17.10" according to the "About" tab on the tray icon menu, and CODESYS Softmotion RTE CX x64 3.5.17.10 is the device in the developer. Do you see some error here?

    Hi,
select here the device - to see on the right side the online device:
If you add cmpCX5000 in the configuration and install the Windows driver , then this IPC is a Control RTE CX device and should fit to your device.

I can confirm it is in the directory: C:\Program Files\CODESYS\CODESYS Control RTE3
What if the CmpCX5000 doesn't appear in the PLC Configuration? Do I need to update my drivers with CmpCX5000 instead of CmpEt1000Drv?

Sorry I meant to attach this as well:

I think I resolved the issue. I needed to update the TwinCAT PnP driver to CmpCX5000.
