Update, installed 3.5.19.70 with the same result. The error message is as useful as a chocolate fire guard. The container SN is in the 130-xxx range which should work. The Version, Chip, Rev number don't mean anything to me. There is no SD Card installed. I've also reinstalled a fresh Wago FW22 image, Deployed PFC200 SL and Edge for Linux, still the same result.

The only issue remaining is that when connecting to a device and obtaining its public key, the NCryptEncrypt function is called, which is not fully implemented in the DLL source code, resulting in the connection not being established. I got same issue but managed to get it to work again by downgrading the Runtime. Here's my specs: CODESYS V3.5.19.0 Runtime Linux SL 4.7.0.0. CSV Utility SL 1.1.0.0 (Licensed IIoT libraries SL) I tried Runtime 4.8.0.0. and 4.9.0.0 but both result in INVALID_HANDLE error.

If a size is not specified, CODESYS allocates 80 characters by default for a string. After 7 seconds, does your Json_string contain all of your 20000 key/values? Or is the result truncated to 80 characters?

Solved it! The simple answer was to declare a variable as POINTER TO STRING and assign the GetMessage result to that variable. Then, the ^ operator can be used to extract the message as string.

Hello, I am already able to run an OPC UA method in Codesys. Now my question, how can I interact with other tasks (e.g. read an SDO from EtherCAT and return it by the function)? The OPC UA method seems to be called only once (I tried to return BOOL or UINT values). Up to now I only found to do a while loop to wait for the result of the other task. Is there a better way to do it? Is this the way OPC UA functions should be used (for "not too long" function calls) or should I use another mechanism (method: Start, event: Finish, method: getResult)? Regards

Second, how Can i sort out this data to use it in my program? I followed a youtube tutorial which gave me the attached result, which works. But I need some other smart way of doing this when the object gets even more data in it. Any help is very appreciated :)

I'm not really sure what you are trying to do, but maybe you are referring to using the CmpCharDevice library? When you "open" the connection to a device, you can pass flags. What helped me is to set the non-blocking flag. Hi Gatto, Using version 3.5.21.xx, it is no longer possible to use Modbus function blocks (I make extensive use of these FBs.)as shown in the example. https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Examples/_ex_modbus_example.html The compiler detects one Modbus instance for each instance of the communication FB block. The example program above, although simple, reports 8 Modbus instances when compiled with the latest version. Codesys Support says that you must use fieldbus I/O mapping, but this will result in the loss of the ability to programmatically modify communication parameters. Sandro

Hello, I tried using the CSV Utility SL Example from the CODESYS IIoT Libraries SL. No matter what path I try, I can not get the InitSave to work from CSVWRitersSTExample, line 2. It always gives the error 'CANNOT_OPEN_DIRECTORY'. I am running this on an Windows Azure VM, with Codesys Control Win V3 x64. I added a folder called 'temp' to my C: so that the default 'C:/temp' would work. However it gives CANNOT_OPEN_DIRECTORY. I tried updating to 'C:\temp' with the same result. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
