Post by cdutz on Problems connecting to Codesys 4.9.0.0 runtime on my Wago PFC200 ^{CODESYS Forge talk (Post)}
Hi all. I am currently struggling to get my Wago PFC200 running the Codesys Runtime in version 4.9.0.0 working. I am using Codesys V3.5SP19. I updated the PFC200 to the firmware version 04.01.10(23) after having tried the latest version (04.03.03(25) from Wago and not being able to start the runtime. After reading version 23 was needed, I changed to that and at least was able to have it start the codesys runtime. I also installed the "Codesys Control for PFC200 SL 4.9.0.0" plugin for Codesys to install the Codesys runtime in version 4.9.0.0 as well as update the Gateway on the device. While I seem to be able to connect to the gateway on the PLC (the dot is green) and when doing a scan, I do now find my PFC200, which is a huge improvement to before, where with firmware version 25 it just failed to start the runtime and I never found any device when doing a scan. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to connect to the PLC in codesys. I logged in via SSH and changed the password and I can see that this password is correct as the stuff in the Codesys PFC200 tools tab only works if I use my changed password. And I used those credentials to update the installed Runtime version, which the log claimed to have worked fine. Now whenever I try to connect to the device found in the scan, I get a authentication pop-up with empy device name, device address: 000A. As User I use "root" and as password the password that I changed it to. As a response I just get "Ungültige Benutzerauthentifizierung auf dem Gerät" (Eng. probably something like "Invalid user authentication on the device". What could I be doing wrong? Hi All, I use the analysis page in automation server to capture historical trends from my PLC - i only sample one point per hour but it does the job (for now) One issue I have is I often log on to analysis page to find the system has stopped recording trends from my PLC. To fix this, I need to choose "state information" in the "List view" under PLC and click "Reconnect" When I do this I see my variables listed under "parameters" under "PLC Details" start updating again and the trend in Data analyzer continues to update. My Question, Why do I need to manually reconnect? Is there a way to get automation server to automatically reconnect to the PLC so I continue to capture data from the PLC? Regards, Trent

I have a pressure sensor that measures 0-600 bar and outputs a 0-5V signal, but my PLC reads analog inputs in the 0-10V range and displays a value of 1024 when 10V is applied. In this case, when the sensor outputs 5V at 600 bar, the PLC shows a value of 512. My working range is 0-350 bar, which means the PLC only uses 298 bits in this range, significantly reducing the resolution. What can I do to achieve better resolution within the 0-350 bar range?

You can use the switch frame variable, but there should be a variable for each active visu user. You can put the switch frame variable in an array, and use CURRENTCLIENTID as index into the array to get what you want. The CURRENTCLIENTID is assigned to new users automagically by the Visu Management.

Not sure what you mean but you can define a visu initialization program and call it once at the visu initialization step. Look in the Visualization Manager there is a possibility to define such a program.

Disable the setting "Support client animations and overlay of native elements" in the Visu Manager. Activating this setting should also set a compiler define (GENERATE_OVERLAY_VISU). OK, I got this to work as shown above in mos89p's comment. What I did: Tools/Update Raspberry Pi. Reloading the runtime seems to have solved the web problem. I can view the visualization on the Pi and laptop using a browser as shown above. Thanks! But Isn't the visualization supposed to take over the screen of the Raspi? When I run visu projects on Windows or Wago, the visualization shows on that device's screen by default.. But this is not happening in this case

Just to clarify. Output for lamp will have two inputs: from plc IN (wall switch) and from visu button. Until now I had separate object for visu button and separate for visu lamp. Now I want it to be one object, bulb icone which will change color on lamp status and yet by touching it will change visu button state. Tried "Switch Image" object but there is no way to assign switch var.

Hello, I am using Codesys on an industrial pc with a single monitor. I would also like to have a separate vision software running on the PC and would like to display it half screen. When I run the soft PLC the my visualization screen appears full screen, I would like to be able to set the size of the visualization screen so I can display other software on the monitor. Is it possible to set the width/height of the targetVisu? Anyone try something similar? I would like to avoid having to put it on a Virtual Machine. Thank you

In the process, I noticed that Visu images are created before the merge and transform, i.e. "screenshots" of the different Visus. Unfortunately, these are not used in the later process (Merge/Transform). Is there a way to set it up so that they are found in the html file?

I have an idea how to display the time by making a 7 Segment Dysplay in the Visu. But I don't know how to get the actual time into the program. Can anyone help?
