All Sensors from the OneWire Master are assigned already to a seperate task with low prio (26) that runs with 1s cycle time. My EtherCat Task is running with Prio 1. It all works fine, until I adjust the CODESYScontrol.cfg or the CODESYScontrol_Usr.cfg files so that it supports a 2nd OneWire Master in the Codeys Runtime. If I change something in this config file and reboot my EtherCat Master stops working.

Hi, I have a Linux 64Bit system with a Codesys application running on it. It stops after 2hours and a few minutes, which makes me think something is wrong with the installed license. (in my last timing it stopped after 2h4min, on the codesys website it is stated that runtimes without a license stop after 2h) I installed the license via a USB license dongle that I activated on my workstation with the Codesys IDE a while ago. Now the system is shipped at not accessible physically, only remotely via SSH. So is there a way to check the status of the License of the Codesys runtime when it is running on the system? Running the codesyscontrol script with "status" just tells me that it is running, but does not provide any license information. Best regards

I ordered a cheap managed switch and tested it as soon as I received the switch. It works great! I even went a bit further. As you can see in the screenshot, I created 2 Codesys containers. Each one having 2 fieldbuses. The first one has EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP and the second one has EtherCAT and Modbus/TCP. All going through the same ethernet port from the PC to the switch. The switch splits it up into 4 different networks. The hardest part was to figure out how to configure the switch. @eschwellinger, thank you very much.

Ok, with debug you suppress the errors, but that doesn't help you any further. You can find information about the missing drivers here https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/8981ce928a/ and here https://github.com/stefandreyer/I2C-Multiplex I'll have to have another look at which library you need. But you can easily find out. Create a completely empty project and insert the TCA9548. You don't need the board. Then look in the library and resolve all conflicts If you can compile the project without errors, delete the TCA9548 and insert the ADS1115. The driver should then also run. Small bonus: with the TCA9548 you can expand your network as you wish and use identical sensors multiple times

Hello all, I would like to sign my boot application for my Raspberry PI. I generated the X509 Certificate and loaded it to the raspberry. It is successfully displayed as trusted certificate. However, I cannot download and start the Application to the Rasperry, due to a signature mismatch.The error message is rather clear, but I still don’t see how I can fix the issue, since the certificates on the Controller seem to mach the certificate in the user profile. Thank you for your quick response, I have updated to the 4.17.0 (Virtual control and the license server). Now I am able to see the softcontainer from the Codesys IDE. But when I want to activate the license I get the following message: Licensing info not available. The device does not support this service (See picture). I then tried to active it via the WBM service like you suggested. But when I try this is get an error (see picture for error). I also tried to put RTS- in front of the serial number, but when I try this I get an error that the serial number is not correct. I think I'm getting closer, but I'm not there yet.

Hi Guys, I'm new to CODESYS on the pi and I'm struggling to get it working. My issue is that the runtime keeps stopping after approximately 15 seconds. I have installed the runtime package 4.11.0.0 on the pi, trying on both a 64 bit and 32 bit OS. Looking at old forums it all references the 4B and the fact they used 32 bit Debian bullseye (the last version of raspberry pi os) however the pi 5 doesn't offer this version when I try select it in the imager. Has anyone managed to get running using the pi 5? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Adam

Hello, i currently want to use a wago 750-8102 with the "codesys control for pfc100" runtime. I want to add the devices connected to the internal pfc100 bus via the "search devices" tab. This was reccommended in the following thread: https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Deutsch/thread/7701332199/ But whenever i try to search for devices codesys just doesnt find anything and i cant close the "search devices" window. Has anyone got an idea what the problem might be? I already tried adding the devices connected to the pfc100 manually but the bus just doesn´t start. best regards Moritz

Hello, I have been using CODESYS for a while and after updating to version 3.5.18.50 the code randomly stops with this fault. Why is that ? I have tried to locate the fault in the Call Stack but I dont know what to do now... I have updated the projects properly for the version I am using. This fault started happening after like 14 days of using the new version of CODESYS.

Hello @eschwellinger, Why not using one of those 2 folders: C:\ProgramData\CODESYS C:\Users\Public\Documents\CODESYS The main reason is depending on the company and the user right, the end user may not have the access to use those folders. Also having a non version dependent folder may help if the end user uninstall a previous version and forgot all its sample project where in this previous version installation. Thanks.

Hello, I'm trying to access the group IDs of the connected user. "CurrentUserGroupId" var shows only the first group ID that the user is assigned, I need the other group IDs that the user is in. I find some structs but I can't find where they are used, like "VUM_User" scruct from visuusermgmt, where can I find this vars? https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/VisuUserMgmt2%20Interfaces/Current/VUM_User.html abyUserGroupIDs seens perfect but I can't find a GVL where it is used.

An interesting remark for CODESYS Support. I found this after looking through the Runtime Deploy Tool messages when I connect to an AMD64 architecture Successfully Connected to Target ( {MyIP} - AMD64 ) when I connect to an ARM64 architecture (Raspberry Pi5) Successfully Connected to Target ( {MyIP} - ) As clearly seen in the attached .png, the AMD64 target is detected, while the ARM64 target architecture is not detected (displayed). I assume that this is the reason why the pulldown menu isn't populated correctly.

Hello forum Does anyone have experience with optimally adjusting the position and size of the visualization elements? For us, the adjustment on the x-axis works in Codesys 3.5 SP20 with (Container.Width - Visu.Width). However, the y-axis is not affected with (Container.Height - Visu.Height). We implemented this according to the example from Codesys "Optimally adjust position and size" and had no success. Thank you very much for your help.

I have found a work around. I have written a python scripts that runs on user login (entry in .bashrc) which overwrites the webvisu.htm and webvisu.cfg.json file with the configuration for the B&R T30 panel (resolution and disable scaling). First I tried to add this setting to the the CODESYSControl.cfg, but that does not work following the big CODESYS Control V3 Manual. Hi, I followed your guidance and used go2rtc. There is a link generated from go2rtc I can copy into the web browser element in the visualisation. It somehow only appear within the software when it is running, but not on the webvisu. I want to display the camera feed onto the webvisu. My camera is reolink 810a which supports IP protocol. My project is pretty simple, just a web browser element with assigned URL.

I paid money for the RPi runtime because the Product Description says that GPIO is supported. It is also written in the Versions that since 4.11 RPi5 is supported. And I use 4.13. Nowhere is it mentioned that GPIO is still not supported... It's a pity that the Codesys developers still can't find a way to fix it. Are there plans for when it will be fixed or are the developers too weak? Just wondering, is there anyone with a working GPIO? Can you share the details of your system?

Right now when I make a change to one of the tags in my code, I have to completely remove the IEC Symbol Publishing object from the tree view and re-add it. Then I have to completely re-add every symbol to the grid view by dragging them over. This can be a lot. Surely, this is not the intended behavior. Can anyone tell me how this is supposed to work?

Hello, We encountered the same issues on both recipe library versions 4.2.0.0 and the newest 4.3.0.0. The Arrays of structs get saved correctly but loading them restores only some indexes, while others get lost or completely wrong. We have been using the same recipes for the last two years on recipe manager vers. 3.5.17 withoud issues. There also seems to be a different behaviour in vers. 4.3.0.0 but it's still incorrectly loading the recipes. Did you find any workaround or solution? Codesys version used: 3.5.19.50

Hello, I have a simple TON timer. It is watching prime loss for a pump. The operator can set the delay via the HMI, it is an integer (seconds) As the TON uses milliseconds, we then multiply the entry by 1000 to get seconds. Seems simple, but... VAR PrimeTimer : TON; primetime : INT; END_VAR PrimeTimer(in:=State>0 AND FlowRate<MinimumFlow,pt:=INT_TO_TIME(primetime *1000)); For an entered 15 seconds (VAR primetime:=15;) the timer reads 49d17h2m26s760ms !!!! What am I doing wrong?

I am trying to use ladder logic to be the anser to the button press using "VisuElems.CurrentVisu := 'MainScreen';. This returns an error.
