The “_AB AT %IW0:word; ” if i called the value then im getting this error. like below "the declartion of the variable with an address assignment cannot be used in a PRG or GVL with the attribute 'subsequent'" This is happening when the GVL is selected in Redundancy Configuration. if i un-select the address declaration is working fine

I have the same problem in that I can connect to the eWon and ping the controller IP Address, however I cant connect through CodeSys. I'm using Gateway-1 which is configured to use "IP-Address: localhost" and "Port: 1217". Rather than scanning the network for devices, I enter the IP Address of the device, codesys returns a "No Device is repsonding..." message. See attached. I'm wondering if the IP-Address used Gateway-1 should be "localhost" or the WAN/LAN IP of the eWon? Thanks for the help MC

With that I could make an array of varying size, but would still have to define the array type in the function's declaration VAR_IN_OUT stArray: array [*..*] of <pre-defined data type> END_VAR I wanted a function that could take an array of any type (e.g., a structured VAR) as an input. That way I could call it in multiple POUs to handle different arrays structures.

I still have the same problem even when updating to CODESYS Recipes 4.3.0.0. My scenario: I'm trying to save/load an array of structs using the Visu: - Execute Command > "SaveRecipeAs" works properly - Execute Command > "LoadWriteRecipe" works not entirely: the structs of array[6] and array[7] should have been empty but were duplicates of array[4] and array[5]... the struct contains 26 variables and the array's length is 30.. Maybe there is a upper limit on recipe variable count?

I have been trying to set an array value to a JSON structure of this form: {"key": [1,2,3,4]} While I have been able to create the key and set its value to an empty array, I've not had any luck in putting any value in that array. objindex:= fb_JBuilder.SetKeyWithArray("Key6", diParentIndex := diRootIndex); objindex2:= fb_JBuilder.SetValue(value:= iValue2, diParentIndex:= objindex); iValue2: ARRAY[0..3] OF INT:= [1,2,3,4]; The two lines of code above produce {"key6": []} . The second line essentially has no effect.

Hello, I'm working on a project which includes Panel-PC which communicates with a PLC through Modbus TCP/IP. On the PLC I have a CODESYS code which has Modbus slave objects. The Modbus slave objects have to have manually set IP address in order for them to work properly and the Ip address has to be the PC-Panels's IP. This project is going to a customer and they're using their own IP address realm. So, my question is that is it possible to configure these slaves in some other way, so that the customer doesn't need to modify the CODESYS project? I was thinking that would it be possible to set the IP address of these slaves from external source?

You need to create an array with one element for each possible user. I usually define these arrays in the root screen. FrameIndex : Array [0..MaxUsers] OF INT; Then use the global CurrentClientId (defined by one of the VISU libraries) to index the array element used to select the frame. FrameIndex[CurrentClientId]

We are using codesys 3.5.16.30 and we have a array with strings of length 5000. We are having issues subscribing to this variable from an OPCUA client. Is there any limit in the OPCUA Server in codesys for how long an array can be on the opcua server?

Ok... but if I create array of struct of reference to - everything works fine - please see the screenshots: and it works this way OK. There are some ways. One is to use SHR and SHL and it depends on your byte order in the data array. Hi Duvan, You could make this in 1 single object (FB), Indeed don't use a function for this beacuse you need some memory to keep the old value. For i := 0 TO 200 BY 1 DO //Check if the value has been changed IF Old_Value[i] <> Value[i] THEN //Set the trigger to TRUE Trigger[i] := TRUE; Old_Value[i] := Value[i]; END_IF END_FOR If you define the Value array as an In_Out and the Trigger as an In_Out you arn't claiming any aditional memory to your system. You ofcourse then need to add some code arround it that does something with the trigger and writes it back to FALSE again. If you want more flexability you also could use pointers instead of using the IN_OUT FOR i := 0 TO 200 BY 1 DO address := address_Input + i * SIZEOF(*Put type here); IF Address^ <> Old_Value[i] THEN Trigger[i] := TRUE; Old_Value[i] := Address^; END_IF END_FOR
