Did you test this with the latest version of the CODESYS Visualization add-on? Something that you might want to test is if it works better when you disable the "Support client animation and overlay of native elements". Double-click on the VisualizationManager in your project to find this setting.

Hi, I assume that you have a Pfc200 G2 or something and work with the original WAGO runtime. Then I would recommend the WagoSysDynamicIoMapping. Here in the example projects there is a PDF file for the library: https://downloadcenter.wago.com/learning-material/details/ll0w3pmdunzvem83g1 There is a global functional component in a GVL of the library. I think it's called DynKbusIoManager or something. The active terminals are registered there. Then there are filter Fb's for e.g. the first clamp with a specific article number. Everything is in the PDF.

Hi Everyone, For a fast monitoring system I am using Ethercat oversampling and timestamping inputs. As the customers has a lot of different configurations out in the field, we went for a dynamic Ethercat configuration. Already got the whole detection chain working but now I am stuck since two days in debugging the configuration. Here are my quesitons: I extended the dynamic config example for the EL3632 16#0E303052: //EL3632 pSlave^.SetDCSettings(TRUE,TRUE,80,80,TRUE,4000,0,0); pSlave^.AddSyncManager(16#1000,128,16#26,TRUE,3); pSlave^.AddSyncManager(16#1080,128,16#22,TRUE,2); pSlave^.AddSyncManager(16#1100,0,16#4,TRUE,1); pSlave^.AddSyncManager(16#1110,214,16#20,TRUE,0); pSlave^.AddFMMU(0,214,0,7,16#1110,0,1,1); pSlave^.AddFMMU(0,1,0,0,16#80D,0,1,1); xKnown := TRUE; This leads to a PLL Error for these devices. I double and triple checked the configuraton, but cannot find the issue. There seems to be one difference: the config dialog creates a startup parameter: 16#10F3:16#05, Name: Command_0, Value:0. Bitlen: 16, Stop on fault: false, jumpt at fault: false: next line: 0 a) I do not find information on how to set this in my code. Can you help me there? b) Without trying to set the value, I get a PLL error for these devices in the master log. Is the config wrong? c) Do I need to set the Master to Autoconfigure or Manual? I used autoconfigure for my tests. The stack creates input data addresses for the slaves input data range (pSlaves[i].InputData) which are different from those created when I use the Engineering tools dialogs to configure Ethercat. Specifically, the addresses seem to be aligned at 16 byte boundaries when they are created using the engineering tool, but may appear at uneven addresses when I use the script in dynamic config. I did not try to access ULINT at uneven addresses yet, but I am suspecting this may be a problem. Do I need to manually align the addresses ? Any help is appreciated...

Ah - forgot another question as it may be related to the PLL problem: I am executing a 4ms cycle. I do not call (from what I know) the Ethercat_MAster periodically in my program. The bus cycle task is set to the Ethercat task. I would assume that the master should send 250 frames per second. Yet, the status of the master says it transmits 500 frames per second which would indicate that the master is called twice. Any ideas there?

What do you mean by continuous movement? You want to continuously follow a dynamic target position? SMC_ControlAxisByPos, which is typically used with CNC Interpolators, could work for that. Instead of feeding the target position in from the Interpolator, feed in the target position from your server instead. I can confirm that at my 4ms EtherCAT Master the frames per second is equal at round about 500 with Codesys SP19. The same program at SP16 it was at 380-430 f/sec. for me it will be interesting too, whats the reason is for this high frame count/sec? I havn't had the time to use a paket sniffer and analyse all the frames. I can't help with your other questions, sorry.

I've created a TitleBar Visualization in which I have "Logo" on the Left corner, "Screen Name" in the center and Time/ date on the right corner. I've also created a 'Menu" visualization that slides out from left to right. I have TitleBar and Menu Visualizations in the MainScreen (3rd Visualization). I want to have "Screen Name" automatically updated on TitleBar Visualization based on Menu item selected from the "Menu" visualization. Can anyone advise how can I achive this? TIA

From Device-Communication Settings select from drop down menu "Device" Select entry "Change Runtime Security Policy" Check the "Allow anonymous login" Select "Symbol Configuration" in your application In settings check "Support for OPC UA features" Check some of the values you want in your set Press the build button in the "Symbol Configuration" Press the button "Configure Symbol Rights" Make sure that Anonymous_OPCUAServer has access right to your "default set" From Device-Communication Settings select "Access Rights" in RemoteConnections-OPCUAServer Anonymous_OPCUAServer should be given modify and view rights I suppose. I can connect with UaExpert but I cannot see my Application or browse my values. What is missing?

During the actual PLC run, that is, Assume that the I/O is connected to a physical device and the analog value is updated in real time. Is it possible to use a feature like Codesys’ Debug-Step Over-Step IN? If possible..... How do I process the values of analog values (pressure sensor, temperature, current, etc.) that are being updated in real time? To step over, the ladder must stop at the breakpoint. If that happens, the PLC will actually stop, right??

Hello everyone, I have the task of programming a map. With the help of the visualization element "Table", I have managed to accomplish this. In the Input Configuration, I activated the option: "Write Variables", so that the user can change the values in the map. To test the program, I select the Online Mode (Simulation).There I change the values in the map. When restarting the program in CODESYS, the changes in the map are no longer there. Good afternoon. I am working with a weidmuller uc20-wl2000 controller, using a codesys license. We made a ladder code to control a process, and it works well, but we want some variables to remain stored even when the controller is turned off. We tried to use retain variables, but at the time of loading the program, when we went offline from the controller, the program was deleted, it did not remain in the controller, and in the same way if we turned off the controller. In addition to this, when we tried to program it again, the program would not stay loaded and began to present errors with the opc-ua communication. What could be causing this problem? How can we maintain the values of the variables without damaging the program or affecting the controller? thank you

I have a XY chart in a visualization that is working fine, all lines are presented correctly. When I present the XY chart visualization in a frame, it seemes as no values are recorded, all lines are zero. When i open the visualization containing the XY chart in e!cockpit i see the lines are presented correctly but still not in the frame. Any ideas?

The individual structures were declared in a separate global variable list on a trial basis. But even this did not change the behavior. A total of 1667 variables are processed in a recipe. A reduction (e.g. saving only the first three drive parameter sets) also brought no change.

It seems that there is a limitation with the STRUCTs. Does anybody know, what’s okay to save (add to the recipe) and what’s not okay? Or is there another problem with my project? If I have only an array in the recipe definition everything works perfectly (see project).

Hello, I have an OPC-UA server with an information model. For many values, there is a defined range (e.g., 0 to 100). If a client enters a value outside this range (e.g., 120), the StatusCode should change to Bad. How can I accomplish this? Any help is appreciated! Thank you in advance. Hi, I realized that if I replug the power supply the persistent variables lost their value with the new software too. Cold reset do not affect the variables value but hardware reboot still reset the values. Application Composer can't be activated. What is the solution?

Hi all, I am using a unionn statement for merge in integer data type some values that are received in byte from the i/o cards, but, using this simple and light technique, is not recognized by the ethercat data exchange and in fact the tags are not updated. In my opinion it's a very big bug.
