Solved! Go to Control Panel -> Windows Defender Firewall -> Allow an app or feature Enable the options to change settings. Scroll down the list of applications to CODESYS and CODESYS ControlService. If you do not see this application, add it to the list. Make sure all checkboxes are checked (Domain, Private, and Public).

I took a look at your project. First of all, a Raspbery Pi4 is installed. You must use the GPIOs_A_B(GPIOs B+/Pi2). The error ULINT can't be set to IDINT.... with your project as well. If I change your project to ‘CODESYS_Control_for_Raspberry_Pi_SL’ the error is gone.

It should come by default on a normal install of Codesys 2.3, but it's a bit hidden: Like for any other library, go to Resources > library Manager > Right click on list of libraries > Additional library. On the browser that opens, instead of looking in the default folder, use the dropdown menu at the bottom to change the folder (SysLibMem should be on the 3rd folder).

So I am basically using IoDrvEthernet library to use UpdateConfiguredIPSettings function but I am getting constantly the 'INVALID_STATE' error. Yes, I tried to do what you put in the first code. However, I have a problem with that and that is that the inputs must be declared with the type. I have many data types running in my code (real, int, uint, bool) and I can't put them in the same function, another thing is that I need to instantiate that function for everything I want to write to the slave. You put a for to 200 but it means that it has to be the same data type and inside the array, but I want to get them individually. I'm struggling to do it in a good and efficient way like wago's E-cockpit does. in the first screenshot you can see, you simply type in value, change the package of things you want to write in value change and it does everything by itself automatically, without comparing any old and new values and even less having the need to activate a bool. , it is perfect.

Hello, I have a robot configured as a Generic Ethernet Module under Ethernet/IP Scanner. I can not see the change of state of the outputs coming from the robot on the codesys side in real-time. (The robot has it's own internal program that would changes the values of remote outputs 0-3 off and on). Also when I send data down to the inputs of the robot it doesn't transfer over as expected. As an example I'll send to the robot's input bit 0 a value of 1. It doesn't see that value change. However, when I write that input bit 0 back to a value of 0, the robot changes state and shows a value of 1. And if I change the state of a different bit, the other bits update properly, except for the bit that I changed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and if anything else is needed let me know.

I bought and installed SoftMotion Light now. When I try to add a SoftMotion Light Axis to my stepper drive and I go online it shows: "The license is missing or invalid". See picture What am I doing wrong? This is the right way right? First add your EtherCat XML-File from your stepper driver and then add the SoftMotion Light axis right? Thanks for your help esave

Hello, I have been having trouble getting a visualization to show up on the RasPi. I have previously used both WAGO touchscreen and Windows ControlWin and had no trouble. The visu does not show on the Raspi screen on start of the program and attempts to view in a browser both on the Raspi (Chromium) and from my laptop (Brave,Chrome,Firefox) running Codesys development fail. The visu shows correctly in Codesys development when online. (Win 11) The control code that is active is operating correctly. Raspi Codesys runtime is licensed. What am I missing? Thanks!

I started a project in codesys for a WAGO 750-8212 PLC and I am working on getting online with the controller. I can log in to the controller and I can see and control all of the fieldbus couplers that I have. I am unable to get the internal bus working. It just says that the bus is not running and when I scan or devices nothing shows up. Am I missing something important in my device tree?

Hello everyone Since I have installed Codesys 3.5.20sp2 I cannot get the profinet features working again. Now I get RPC Blocked during device scan (see attached file) and when online I get RPC-call error (see attached file). I run Codesys on the last version of Windows 11, Profinet ports have been added to Firewall rules, and even with disabled Firewall I get same result I really never seen that before Same result using another PC I already spent 2 days to find the issu without any success, I would appreciate some help, thank you! Hi. Thanks for the answer. I think I found your post on the Wago forum. I have tried installing all different nodeset versions of the opcfoundation.org/UA but neither work. Though I could not find the nodeset version called 15.09.2021 anywhere online. The opcfoundation repository only goes back to version 1.04.11 2022-03-29. Also wondering how I can generate a custom information model that only refrences the latest version of nodesets?

Trying to utilize the persistence manager, but system do not write to file and do not create the config file. System is a Linux SL, version 4.13.0.0 Problems with persistence/config started when I had other problems to go online, I deleted the config file and the persistent files, but the system will not re-create them. I have tried to remove/re-install the "PersistenceManager"-module, create the folder-structure myself. And also reinstall the linux-runtime but its clearly not working. Any help appreciated.

Solved EN: The Problem is that the Codesys Edge-Gateways have a License with a runtime of an half year, as long the Gateways are online they will self renew themselfs. In my Case the RevPi was more than a year offline and so the Edge-Gateway was not working anymore. The solution: I accessed a laptop that was directly connected to the RevPi. I installed the Codesys service tool and renewed the certificate manual. DE: Das Propblem ist das die Codesys Edge-Gatways eine Lizenz haben die nur ein halbes Jahr gültig ist. Solange das Gateway eine Internet verbindung hat aktualisiert sich das Zertifikat von alleine. In meinem Fall war das Gateway aber über ein Jahr offline und hat somit nicht mehr funktioniert. Die Lösung: Ich hab auf einen Laptop von Kunden mit TeamViewer zugegriffen, der Laptop wurde mit Kabel direkt mit RevPi verbunden. Codesys Service Tool installiert und dann das Gatewayzertifikat aktualisiert.

With CODESYS V3.5 it is possible for a user to do the following things among many others. 1) Handling certificates especially move a certificate to the trusted folder. 2) Change password and create new users for OPC UA access However it requires access to the whole projects and its source code. Something you might not want to hand over to an end user for a stand alone product. Is there a way out of this problem?

Hi guys, I am new to the Visualization. I am having a problem. I have multiple web-panel to use webvisu. I have my software dowwloaded into the one PFC200. There are 3 screens connected to it. I noticed that if I switch page/visualisation on one of the screens, the others will change as well. Three screens are with different URLs that I set in the software. Hi, thank you for replying. Basically, I have a main visu with frame selection. So, under some condition the frame will switch to a specific frame. It used to be controlled by variable using "Switch frame variable". However, I realise it will change all the HMI screen at one time. So I removed the variable, and still looking for a solution to do that. Do you have any idea?
