Hello every one. Now i'm instaling a Weintek cMT2108x2(v2) with IR-ETN40R. When I start to import the archive content the code of I/O remote IR-ETN40R, ocurred this error. Hi, I want to use Maxon IDX drives for some simple robotic applications. I have used Maxon's Epos for generating a DCF file to import in Codesys (attached). Then I can add the IDX motors under a CANopen manager in the device tree. Unfortunately, I cannot add a "softmotion axis" to the IDX motors. Now I am wondering, why? Without being able to attach a softmotion axis to the device in the device tree, the use of the motor is greatly reduced... spiessli

A Task is a standard IEC 61131-3 object, so logically that you can export the VISU_TASK. A visualization is no standard IEC 61131-3 object, so not compatible with other IEC tools. Just use the standard export / import functionality. These files are not IEC compatible and can only be used in CODESYS. But these do support visu objects.

I'm Having the same issue. If I highlight PLC Logic and import it erases everything else and replaces the Task config. If I highlight the Application I get the same result. Simple manual fix is click and drag the task config onto the origional Application, and delete the second one. Easy fix but not the expected result of importing task config.

Open the CODESYS Installer. Create an export file from your current PC from your current version. Then on the other PC Open the installer and install a new version based on the same essentials version, but additionally select the export file which you have created on the first PC. Or just install (import) it within the already existing version. For the installer, you can install it from: https://store.codesys.com/en/codesys-installer.html For help see: https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/CODESYS%20Installer/_inst_install_setups_and_addons.html On PC 1, save the project as projectarchive (which will then include all the libraries and devices). Then extract this projectarchive on PC 2.

Yes, it's very tedious, especially since Codesys 4 is a custom web development... At Rex Automatisierungstechnik GmbH, we've invested a lot of time in the Python interface to enable something like CI/CD, but also to export the code and re-import it after making clean modifications. Also, the fact that a class/function block is just a single file containing all the methods, props, etc. Yes, and right now I’m building my own VS Code extension with a clean LSP (Language Server Protocol) for ST, as well as an st-validator, st-formatter, st-linter, codesysPackage.json, and codesys_modules folder...
