I put together a pseudo-example to illustrate my use-case and was wondering if anyone in this forum can help. I am trying to access Raspberry pi on CoDeSys, but it throws an error says, "No connection to target: An established connection was aborted by the server." I am able to access Raspberry pi via MobXterm, but on CoDeSys, it throws error. Looking for help in resolving this error. Error snap is attached. IP address is scanned here successfully, but when I am trying to install Raspberry pi packet: 4.0.0.0, it throws this error.

It looks like it works with 4.13.0.0 indeed. However when installing the runtime, it's not possible to select the multicore option (see attachment). But once the 4.13.0.0 runtime is installed, the logs seems to indicate that the runtime is running in multicore mode. Looking at "htop" output, it seems like it actually is running on multiple CPU. This is very misleading, is it normal or is this a bug ? Thank you for your answer @eschwellinger, BR

Hello, the option to update Rasberry Pi from under the Tools menu is missing in my installation. Currently I have the build 3.15.19.50, along with the Pi package 4.11.0.0. But the same problem is observed even with the latest build and Pi packages. I have tried clean install with both the versions but cannot solve the issue. I never faced this on Windows 10, but now the new PCs are with Windows 11 - this is the only difference. How can I solve this problem?

If your Control Win is the Modbus "Master" then your configuration should be something like: Modbus_COM (Serial port) - Modbus Master (this is the Control Win SoftPLC actively setting up the communication) - Modbus Slave (this is then your WAGO 750-315) You need to add channels to the Modbus Slave configuration to inform the master which variables to read/write from the Wago module. The way you configured it now, the Control Win is also a slave. PS, don't forget to put the PLC (Control Win) in Run.

The only weird situation i remeber with particular or complete frozen target visu was after the rtc clock was fallen or set back to the past. It looked like after running a while the alarm history database crashed during writing entries at a date lot of years in the past. After setting the rtc clock to actual date/time and deleting the alarm db every thing worked fine. I don't know, if this is/was a problem of our PLC hardware/firmware? Maybe check date/time at your system?

Hi, I followed your guidance and used go2rtc. There is a link generated from go2rtc I can copy into the web browser element in the visualisation. It somehow only appear within the software when it is running, but not on the webvisu. I want to display the camera feed onto the webvisu. My camera is reolink 810a which supports IP protocol. My project is pretty simple, just a web browser element with assigned URL.

Hi. Thanks for the answer. I think I found your post on the Wago forum. I have tried installing all different nodeset versions of the opcfoundation.org/UA but neither work. Though I could not find the nodeset version called 15.09.2021 anywhere online. The opcfoundation repository only goes back to version 1.04.11 2022-03-29. Also wondering how I can generate a custom information model that only refrences the latest version of nodesets?

Doesnt matter. I have installed sp20 with latest RP 4.13. Same problem. Anyway My large project in RP 4.10 and SP 19 and I need these versions and use same installation programm for Codesys IDE and RP4 package. I did install again, because my SSD broke and now cant update raspberry... I dont know how to translate correctly project to newest version - there are 52769 errors and incompatabilities: after updates libraries anyway some errors still because of devices... I found solution with .deb file from raspberry package - dont need IDE anymore for update raspberry.

I paid money for the RPi runtime because the Product Description says that GPIO is supported. It is also written in the Versions that since 4.11 RPi5 is supported. And I use 4.13. Nowhere is it mentioned that GPIO is still not supported... It's a pity that the Codesys developers still can't find a way to fix it. Are there plans for when it will be fixed or are the developers too weak? Just wondering, is there anyone with a working GPIO? Can you share the details of your system?

hi, Does anyone know how to optimise the responisiveness of the web visualisation? When i open the webvisu on my laptop it is very responsive, no noticable lag. But when i open it on the HMI (web client) at the customer site there is a lag of +-500 when opening popups etc. The hmi used is: Phoenix Contact WP 6156-WHPS full hd Arm® Cortex®-A53, 1.6 GHz qt web browser The clients performance seems to be the problem, what can i do in my project to decrease the load for the client?

If yes, how? I defined a TEST integer variable with 300 value. I tried to add this variable to the width record (.TEST or only TEST), but if I saved, the value jumps back to 0. Hello, I have a problem when opening the license manager for my raspberry pi (CM4 model) with runtime 4.13.0.0. I select "Device" --> "Soft Container" and click on my device in the scan window but I get this error message : Licensing info not available. There is no dongle attached to this device. I can't install licenses anymore, and I don't understand why is CodeSys looking for a dongle when I specified I wanted to use a Soft Container. Can somebody help me please ? Best regards

wow und wie das Problem gelöst wurde für den Nächsten Anfänger?! Naja egal. Das mit dem Farbwechsel ist bei mir kein Problem, ich frage mich nur, warum beim Farbverlauf immer als Alarmfarbe in der Mitte weiß genutzt wird?! Meine Buttons sind alle dunkel und haben weiße Schrift, die kann man dann natürlich gar nicht mehr lesen. Kann man das noch anpassen? Also, dass beim "Alarmzustand" der Farbwechsel nicht als zentrale Farbe weiß hat? Die Farbe die ich auswählen kann ist immer die außen liegende Farbe -.-

Hallo Zusammen, ich versuche die Bibliothek FloatingPointUtils.compiled-library-v3 zu benutzen. leider kommt dabei folgende Fehlermeldung: Kein Quellcode für dieses Objekt... (siehe Anhang) Wie kann ich diese Bib einbinden? Kann ich diese irgendwo herunterladen? Mein Ziel ist es ein DWORD (float) in ein REAL umzuwandeln. ICh hoffe, dass ich dies mit der Funktion HexStrToReal machen kann. So wie hier: https://gregstoll.com/~gregstoll/floattohex/ convert to float... Oder gibt es bei Codesys einen anderen Weg? Using Wireshark, I can see that the broker sends the QoS 1 or 2 messages when Codesys MQTT client reconnects but they are just discarded and not acknowledged by Codesys MQTT Client. So the broker holds on to them and tries to send them back to Codesys every time the client reconnects but they are always discarded by Codesys. There really seems to be an issue with QoS 1 & 2 in Codesys. It really does not behaves like it should.

Hello, I'm trying to run TargetVisu on my Linux IPC, and while it does work, the controls are misaligned compared to my WebVisu. Both visualizations are full-screen on a Debian 12 VM with a resolution of 1280x768. The WebVisu is running in Firefox. Are there any configuration I should adjust to ensure the controls align properly between the two? Any guidance or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Hi, please check if "Support client animations and overlay of native elements" option is enabled. This option is very heavy to manage for the Webclients. I'm using the Pixsys srl "TC series" HMI with the code "P3" (so a 4+4 cores CPU) that runs very well also with this option active. The same CPU is mounted also in their WebPanel "WP" series, so you can try one of them if you want.

Hello I've made an FB which is a TCP server. It uses the excellent CAA NetServices library. If I have the FB in a task <4ms, then the RT crashes immediately at boot up. If the task >=4ms, it starts and runs perfectly. This is even if the block is not doing anything; just instantiated. Am I missing something silly? Why would a low task time cause this? 4ms is perfectly adequate, but I'm just interested why... thanks PH

Hello Mr./Ms., I invested Raspberry Pi lot of time to get the output from the raspberry PI5. But, i did not get the signal. I use a raspberry pi 5> RS485 can hat > Modbus RTU, Industrial 8-ch analog acquisition module >weight transmitter jy-s60> S-load cell. I did not able to receive the signal from Modbus RTU to Raspberry PI5 where I use the RS 485 serial connection.
