Hi all, I'm new to Codesys and Wago but well versed in Rockwell. I've been tasked with upgrading old Wago 750-880 PLCs that run Codesys v2.3. All I was giving is the original PLC program in v2.3 and the currently running machine. I've spec out to what I believe is a suitable upgrade, the PFC100 2ndGen, 750-8111. As I'm rewriting this code on the Codesys I can't find the same library functions blocks for ethernet settings PLC functions. Currently I'm working on code to get/set the PLC ethernet IP address and HMI IP addresses from the HMI screen. One other function I'm looking for is a warm reset function to the PLC. When googling for this stuff I see a lot of code not in ladder logic. Are these functions now not available to implement in ladder logic? Where can I get more information on finding and implementing this functions? Do I have to buy a license from Codesys to use these functions? The PLC I ordered should be arriving in 2-3 weeks.

Hi! I was downloading codesys for a school project, but I cannot seem to find where and how to get the other programming languages. When I try to create a new project, I only get the option to program in structured text. *see problemcodesys.png Does anyone know where I can get the other languages? Thanks in advance, Rik

Hello just to give more feedback the error I get is "ERROR_UNKNOWN :represents raw value of 5110" in File.DirOpen. The xDone never gets true, and I never get the listing of files (csv files in this case). In the hDir i get the value of 0 for a DWord!?

Hello all, I am working in a project in which there are multiple Modbus TCP slaves. I need to be able to change the IP addresses of those devices from the HMI and I was planning to use the process depicted here: https://faq.codesys.com/display/CDSFAQ/Modbus+TCP+Slave%3A+Dynamic+Setting+of+the+IP+Address I can see the port number is what is used to specify which slave device we want to modify the IP address of. This said, can I freely set arbitrary port numbers to each device? I mean, can I set the first device to be at port 502, the second one at port 503... Any drawback or restriction? Is there any other way to reference to the device without having to change the port numbers? Thank you all in advance.

Hello everyone! I have an PLC device that uses modem ppp connection to the internet with white IP. Device PPP connection with modem operator established, so I can connect to this device via SSH also within Codesys IDE (check version, info, etc...) BUT, I cant establish connection to this device in the device gateway options for application upload and debugging. How can I do this? Im trying set my device remote IP and port 11740, but, as I understand, it is wrong decision, because the next logic in this connection: local W10 service (Codesys Gateway) listen on 1217, then (some how) this service scanning local networks for seeking any local IP which listening on port 11740, and then connects and writes there. OR IM WRONG?:) W10 tool 'Test-NetConnection' with parameters 'ip -Port 11740' succeeded with True. Need some help, please :)

Hi, I'm working with wago 750-8212 controller. I want to change the IP address of the Ethernet adapter from webvisu. Hi guys, I have been trying to use web browser element in the visualisation to connect with my IP camera. From the past few weeks, I have not been successful of doing it. I thought it would be very easy to just connect to the ip address, but apparantly it is not. I am using WAGO PLC PFC200 and my PC as a webvisu. or else can you guys please advice me on which kind of camera should I use as a CCTV system in my project instead of IP Camera. Ideally, I want multiple web browser elements to browse my IP Cameras in one frame. Kind regards, Jin.
