this is not easily. From Point of SL-Licenses Codesys didnt provide the informations how to do. We created an own CDS-Component for that Behaviour. This Informations are available for OEM, if you are an OEM you can find the Informations in the RTS-Documentation.

While trying to install CODESYS 3.5.17.30 (64-bit) on my Windows 11 computer, I'm getting the errors below. The first error occurs near the end of the installation. Once you bypass it, the installation returns the second error. Do you have any suggestions for a solution? By the way, I've tried this on several PCs, but I haven't found a solution.

Hi @bertus I have a similar situation: just like in your case I can see that rounding works correctly only for the first element, additionally in my case on a path made of lines where I am testing this every second line is skipped. The interpolator jumps to every second iActObjectSourceNo.

My controller, which is a Linux PC, has got two network cards eth0 and eth1 I whant to use the card with name "eth0" as a server for OPCUA and keep the "eth1" free for other stuffs. Is it possible ? Hi, I am quite new to Codesys and I try to do a Profinet connection to an Siemens PLC (315-2DP) with CP343-1 Lean Modul. I already configured the Siemens PLC, exported the GSDML. Then I added a new project in Codesys, added following moduls: - Ethernet - PN_Controller - Imported Profinet Device via GSDML importer When I start the programm everything looks fine but I always get the message "Stopped Profinet" and no data is available This is only for a small test. Therefore I start to do that on a Windows 10 with Development System. Later I will try to realize this on Raspberry. Ethernet Adapter is configured (192.168.1.1 / 24) Firewall deactivated WinPCap is installed S7-Station seems to be found ('fuadazenzitest') Can please somebody help me?

Hi guys I am trying to run on my laptop Codesys 3.5.19 Control Win x64 where I created a EtherCAT master. I have defined the controler, specified network adapter (my docking station) and everything worked as expected. Later I needed to test it on site (without docking station) so I changed the network adapter by EC master to my laptop network card. After that it shows "Network adapter opened" but no device can be found by scanning and in LOG is saying "SysEthernet: packet could not be sent, error code: -1". Same error with USB network card, but if I switch back to docking station, all is working again... Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Dear All, I hope first to get notice and somebody answer my question. How can I create a motion profile with the axis following it (once or periodically)? As my research shows, Schineder has a UI-based (Motion Sizer) program that helps create a motion with different configurations, which is Codesys-based. I need to create a motion profile based on position, changing the speed. (i.e., 0-300mm moves with 300 mm/s, 300-400mm moves with 500 mm/s, 500-800mm moves with 1000 mm/s, and 800-0mm moves with 2000 mm/s). MC_PositionProfile does it time-based, which is not working for me as the axis may not stabilize the position in time, which may cause a big failure in the system.

Hello, I'm working on setup a CAM table by using the Codesys CAM Editor. My purpouse is to obtain a quadratic velocity ramp with jerk limitation motion profile, for which i define the accel/decel phases with Poly5 segment type, but the problem is that due to the fact i can "only" adjust until the acceleration, and the jerk is always setup to 0, and i cannot change the jerk values, i cannot achieve the desired results, as i need to generate jerk steps. Is there any way it can be achieved with the editor, or maybe by using PLC runtime code? Thank you in advance for your help BR, Jordi Morito

I used the PLCnext Engineer IDE from Phoenix and all Communications where up and running and my PLC program executed successfully. THEN I tried the same PLC Layout with Codesys and Codesys Control for PLCnext. It was not successful and gave me the "Error: Local Bus not Running". I searched the web for answers but was unsuccessful in finding a solution. So I tried to change my configuration and found that the following Modules COULD NOT be recognized by Codesys Control. Hi, maybe this fixes your problem. At least this was our issue back then. We tried to run the codesys runtime environment on an embedded Linux system. The problem on our side was that we changed the WORKDIR directory in the /etc/init.d/codesyscontrol script to /home/user/codesys, but we forgot to copy all files (including the hidden files) from the initial WORKDIR (I am not sure but I guess the initial WORKDIR was /var/opt/codesys) to the new one. After copying those files and restarting codemeter and codesyscontrol, we were able to upload licenses. Hope this help BR Josef

Hi there, I have a Keyence bar code reader connected to my plc through Ethernet/IP. The Bar code is 20 digits long (like 30100790020493036016), the scanner reads it correctly (I can verify that through the keyence software) but when it sends it through ETH/IP, it doesn't fit into a 64 bit variable and it trunks the data.(I've tried ULINT and LWord without success). When I loaded the EDS file, the read variable was defined as a byte with 128 bits length, which is quite strange for me. (see attached picture) How do I manage this variable? Thanks!

Hi Tim. Not quite correct. What i'd like, is when you place the FB in prog, i choose a block NTC10k, and name this RT401. What i'm trying to do, is to get the name RT401 automaticly into the FB, so i can put this into the string i pass in a struct. So in var in POU, i saw this a place i could do this, RT401: NTC10k(Tag:='RT401'), but i can't get this to work. I shurly must have had something like this in FB: FUNCTION_BLOCK NTC10k String TAG But it's here where I'm stuck...

I want to implement an extended I2C master for Raspberry Pi Control. I was hoping for it to be as easy as creating a library with a FB that extends i2cMaster and associating it with a device following the forge drivers documentation, but I haven't managed to make it work as the driver behaves only as an i2c slave. I'm thinking this is because the forge forum only talks about extending i2c, and the master portion is omitted since most users won't want to add a custom one. I'd like to know if I'm doing something wrong. Is it really possible to make an I2C master extension device? If so, are there public examples we can check out? Any info on this topic will be appreciated.
