The Multi I/O Hat fit my needs because of the Analog I/O 4-20ma and RTD. I used a Raspberry Pi 5 and 64b install. The example project is also worth the download. With the sample project open, right click on the Raspberry Pi device and update to whatever you are using (SL, MC, 64b). Enable I2C on the PI. You can jumper the hats Analog Outputs to Inputs and see it function on the Web Visualization. Very Cool! I spent quite a bit of time trying to find this solution so hopefully this update helps others. Thanks for the response. I have found this file in two places, I have updated the text in both but it didnt work. Am I missing something on the Codesys side. How do you restart the soft plc, I have been stopping it and starting it. The Visu screen come up but still in full screen mode. ok, that's different than our issue then. We're using Schneider Electric M262 PLCs, and we've had it where certain web browsers cause the web server to only allow https connections, but it's not recoverable with a refresh. It usually requires a power cycle or even a full firmware flash. Your issue might have more to do with the timing. I don't know if it helps you, but we normally run our visu task at 200mS, with an update rate of 200mS. Seems to work. I have a project with several buttons and dialogs. Most of the dialogs are opened using the Open Dialog action of the Input configuration of the buttons. Some dialogs are openend using the FbOpenDialogExtended FB of the Visu Utils library and the FbOpenDialogExtended FB is called in the Execute ST-Code action. I am also using the FileOpenSave dialog from Visu Dialogs which requires an OnDialogClosed action to read out. I realized that the OnDialogClosed action which is meant for the FileOpenSave dialog also triggers if a dialog is closed, which was previously openend using the FbOpenDialogExtended FB. Is there a way to detect which dialog was closed last and specify to which dialogs the OnDialogClosed action reacts?

Hi, I haven´t noticed you put the comment here. I thing it´s a bit different. What I want is to have detail errors of technology in data type e.g. INT. This variable I would latch to the corresponding error msg but I would like to get it convert to text from the text list and not keep it in INT form. Example. Main error Valve Error: SubErrors 1 - Both sensors 2 - Not retracted in time 3 - Not pulled out in time In HMI Main error + latch SubErrors => "Valve Error: Both sensors" The benefit is that text lists are part of translation and can be easily manipulated. I know I can create whole string msg in PLC but then, it lose advantage of Alarm management. Thanks. M.

I would figure out, how to create a simple html webpage with 2 frames. One frame with buttons to select the plc. A second frame with hyperlink to the webvisu of the plc ("XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:8080/webvisu.htm"). Selecting other PLC Button has to change the hyperlink in 2. frame. Costs only some time to figure out :-) Or setup a raspberry Pi with small visualization. Set up a button for each plc and add one browser element. Each button writes the URL of the depending plc to the URL setting of the browserelement. Costs 55€ for runtime licence and a Raspberry Pi.

Why do you develop things like this? The workflow should be highly dependent on autocomplete, then if that's not super obvious browse to definition and everything is made clear possibly with the checking of a few types. The nature of how things are done makes me think these libraries aren't developed for general use and are actually internal or for partners. The example projects include objects that don't appear in autocomplete and then lead nowhere obvious when browsing. Do you consider developer workflow when creating these libraries? Are some libraries really for public use such as Visu Utils and others not? If so which? It's really hard to tell.

Hi everyone, I need some help with displaying an image (test.png) on my device. Initially, showing the image is straightforward. However, I want to be able to update the image dynamically. My goal is to send updated files via FTP to the device, and have the display automatically show the latest version of the image. All images will be sent with the same name (e.g., test.png). Currently, I can see the updated image after sending it via FTP and performing a warm restart, but I'd like to achieve this in runtime, without having to restart the display or application. Does anyone have suggestions on how to implement this? Thanks in advance!

I have a time which I want to modify with a slider. I have confirmed it is possible to set the value of the slider by to_real(time) (I can see that the slider changes according to 'my_time_value's value). Slider variable: to_real(my_time_value); However I fail to access the current slider instance value when I want to write back the value as time (write to a variable will not work as I need a type-conversion before assignment). my_time_value := to_time(slider-instance-value); I tried with this^.? but could not see anything interesting and also THIS^.GEN_Instance.? but nothing resemble what could be the sliders value. Anyone that knows? Thanks!

This approach would allow the displayed alarm information to be automatically translated according to the active language setting. Hi In the POU section of my project I have created a Fan function block and defined an alarm group template for this FB with one alarm (Motor fault). In the PLC program I define two instances of the fan function block. When going to the alarm configuration and pressing "Create or update alarm instances", I get two alarms listed. So far so good. However, when I start my program and check the alarm table in the visualization I only see one alarm, even if both are active. Am I doing something wrong, or is it not possible to define alarms on a function block level and get one set of alarms per instance of the function block?

hello everyone I would like to try to better understand how persistent variables work. I created some boolean variables in the PersistentVars section initialized to the value TRUE. I have tied these boolean variables to toggle switches placed inside the HMI interface pages. Once the PLC program is started, the lever selectors, if operated, change their state, at least at a graphical level, but the persistent variables do not undergo any variation. Initially the above variables were declared as simple global variables, in this case the operation with the levers was correct; I then tried to transform them into persistent ones with the aim of using them as "settings saver" Thank you for support Bye
