Hi, I updated codesys IDE to the newest version, but I lost the "professional developer edition" in the process. It still works fine on the older version I have been using previously. Do you know what the easiest process for getting the same integration in the newer version? It is only the GIT integration that I really miss.

I am running CODESYS V3.5 SP19 Patch 2 (64-bit) I have buttons that are supposed to be either red or green depending on status. When I am logged out the colors look right. When I am logged in and running the colors are completely different and I can't understand why.

Just a stab in the dark, but you might want to check the Dynamic Limits (accel, decel, velocity, jerk) in the Codesys SoftMotion device configuration, as well as checking similar limits on your servo drive? Are you seeing any errors, or does the MC_SetPosition FB get marked as complete?

After correspondence with Mr Schwellinger from Codesys the resolution for this was to uninstall the SL 4.14 and install SL 4.13 on the device. Once this was done the licensing worked as expected. I noted that the container then showed a Version 3.00 and not 0.00.

It's suspected that the CPU loading is the Linux Kernal in the Wago PFC200 dealing with IGMP multicast traffic (@ 250 uSec) from inverters on site. The inverters use the ethernet network and IGMP to synchronize, the customer removed the switch that shipped with the system, and thus removed IGMP Snooping that was plug-and-play within the provided switch.

I encountered the same problem. (Windows10 x64 single language OS). As @eschwellinger mentioned, I uninstalled the latest EdgeGateway version and installed version 3.5.20.0. Now, when I right-click and select "Allow Edge Gateway...", Config mode is activated without any error or warning window and I do not need to manually type [CmpEdgeGateway] for EdgeGateway version 3.5.20.0.

I added new Gateway and I can see it connected. When I scan the server for PLC, it finds the PLC but when I click the Add To Server button, it shows "PLC was added." in the status. But I can't find the PLC in the list. I tried removing the gateway and re-configure everything again but it didn't solve. Any ideas?

I have been running Codesys IDE in VirtualBox on a Linux Mint host for many many years without issues. I use it every day and it works great. I wouldn't mess around with wine. Would probably just be a waste of time. Codesys Go might be the future of PLC programming on Linux! Can't wait to test it.

Hi, On CODESYS V3.5.19.50 I am using the latest 3S File Access library (CAA File & CAA Types) to save and retrieve configuration data from the User Data section of an SD card, via file called config.txt. The application reads the file to memory once upon initialisation, and then the only other operation is overwriting the file with the updated configuration whenever the user changes the settings. An issue is ocurring, seemingly randomly, where the config.txt file, and all surrounding directories, cannot be written to by the unit, returning a READ_ONLY_CAA error upon file open. This sometimes does not clear even after power-cycling the PLC several times, yet checking the file permissions with ls -l shows normal read, write, and execute access. I am wondering if this is caused by the PLC itself or by an issue in my application. Hello, many thanks for your reply. I checked the logs. It seems that dll is not loaded. However other dll such as the Webserver are loaded. Could you tell me what I need to do such that my dll is loaded. (Furthermore I changed the C-Function a bit. I used the M4.exe from the SDK.) Many thanks.

It seems that the hmi sl license only works with windows. If i'm happy using web visu, rather than target visu, is possible to use remote opc-ua remote alarms without the hmi sl? Maybe it can be included in a different license that works on Linux? thanks
