I've tried using the SMC3_BrakeControl function block to control the brake, but unfortunately, it's not functioning as expected. Despite setting the appropriate parameters and inputs, the brake control does not operate correctly. Any insights or suggestions on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Just adding some info: Today I found this post: https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/264bd530d4/ followed the steps suggested started with a fresh install of raspbian lite, installed 4.11, and then attempted to import my license update file. I have created a program to preprocess G-code as follows 1.SMC_ReadNCFile2 2.SMC_Interpreter 3.SMC_CheckVelocities Then I put SMC_OUT_QUEUE in SMC_Interpolator. Where should I insert SMC_SmoothMerge and SMC_SmoothPath? Or are there any example link for it ?

I'm trying to get the OPC server setup on my machine and currently I'm not having luck. I went ahead and got my license setup. However when I go to run WinCoDeSysOPC.exe I get an error message that I don't have the code meter licenses installed. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this issue?

Hello, I use Codesys RTE 3.5.16.5. If I connect to the PLC I often get the following message: (see printscreen) 1. Channel timeout CMpChannelMgr. 2. Closing connection CmpChannelMgr. Can you tell me, what the meaning of this is? What does the number 1250030,1220020 resp. c400:0a0a:015a:0301 refer to? I could find any information in the online help. Thanks a lot.

However, I changed the directory to: C:\ProgramData\CODESYS\CODESYSControlWinV3x64\58719825\PlcLogic\Recipes It still displays the content of this folder OK, however still will not write or read files. Is this the PLCLogic area you speak of? I also tried adding this path the the CodesysControl.cfg file. But still can't get it to work. Any additional direction would be appreciated!

How to use same communication of similar UDT for Opto22 Groov PR2 PLC in Codesys V3.5 SP20. Can I use OSCAT library - Network -MB_Client or IODrvModbusTCP - ModbusRequest for this requirement? Is there any function function block which can store the persistent variable in HDD/SSD immediatley. My observation is that the persistent variable is getting stored when we shut down or restart the system (Windows+ CoDeSys RTE SL ). the persistent variables are not stored in HDD/SSD, if I power off the system without proper shutdown. Seeking your feedback.

I have now conducted some tests. The problem occurs when the Python script establishes an OPCUA connection, even if I only establish the connection without reading or writing any data. Is there another way to exchange data between Python and CODESYS without having to put in a lot of effort?

Im using SysCom ver. 3.5.17.0 and seem to have the same issue on a Raspberry Pi. It's not waiting for the requested number of bytes, no matter if "ulTimeout := SYS_INFINITE" or any other value. The only solution I have found is to stall the program to allow the serial port to recieve the data.

I've been making few HMIs and I'm starting to get annoyed that whenever I try to align an object to the left or top side of the frame, it quickly scrolls into that direction infinitely. Is there a way to prevent that?

While trying to install CODESYS 3.5.17.30 (64-bit) on my Windows 11 computer, I'm getting the errors below. The first error occurs near the end of the installation. Once you bypass it, the installation returns the second error. Do you have any suggestions for a solution? By the way, I've tried this on several PCs, but I haven't found a solution.

Why does CODESYS 3.5 show the message “Source code changes since last download” even though I did not create or modify any new variables? When I go online with the PLC, it detects changes and suggests synchronizing, but nothing was actually changed in the project. What could cause this and how can I fix it?

Hi Reinier, I'm wondering if you managed to get this FB to work? I was just trying it, and found it not to work, I get an EMCY message in the CodeSys program under the Device Status, but the FB doesn't pick up any EMCY messages from the Bus. Cheers.
